- In this episode of Lauren of All Trades... Lauren has dinner at the Nouveau Steakhouse on the Carnival Legend.
If you go to the steakhouse on any Carnival ship on day 1 or 2 of your cruise, you can get a free bottle of house wine or 50% off any other bottle on the wine menu.
Dinner costs $49/person and is charged at the time of your reservation - whether booked before your cruise or during your cruse. You can get one appetizer, one salad, one entree, and one dessert each (we're usually so full that we split a dessert).

WOW, that is a steak! Thanks for showing the menu, I wasn't able to find the dessert menu on Carnival's site.
Thanks for watching! I'm glad the video was helpful! I have most of Carnival's menus here also: www.laurenofalltrades.blog/p/carnival-food.html best if viewed on a computer :)
I remember going to the steakhouse on my honeymoon. I had a few drinks at the bar beforehand and that glass staircase scared the crap out of me.
I can see that. It's semi-frosted, but still a bit unnerving even when sober lol. Thanks for watching!
Excellent
Thanks for watching!
Great review! I like how you show the food being delivered to your table at the same time you’re ordering it. Really helps visualize it.
Thanks! Glad it was helpful!
I worked as a waiter in this restaurant 10 years ago. Nice to see now, nothing has changed since then. Even the dishes. Back then dinner cost $20.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the review. We are sailing in May and just booked dinner here.
Thanks for watching! Have a great cruise!
We are supposed to cruise on the legend 4/3/22🤞🏾. Thanks for sharing
I hope you get to go! Have a great time. Thanks for watching!

Never heard of the free bottle of wine for 1st or 2nd night at Steak House. You learn something new all the time!
Yes! It’s a nice bonus. You can also get bottles off the wine list at 50% off if you don’t want the house wines.

Is it per couple or per table?
Per table, unfortunately. I do feel like it should be per couple. Maybe if you ask? I’ve only ever gone with other people once.
Gino is a wonderful steakhouse manager!!!
This is a great video. I am cruising on the Legend so this is definitely a must do!
Thanks for watching! Agreed!

Okay so I thought you could take the complimentary bottle with you. You have to drink it at table?
The idea is that you drink it with dinner. You can definitely take any that you didn't finish with you. I don't know what would happen if you said "no, please don't open it, I want to take it with me." You could try. But they do assume you will be drinking it and open it at your table for you.
@@laurenofalltrades cool I’ll just let them know so they don’t assume all travelers are the same. Based on recent answers I have received from other travelers it’s actually quite common for people to take the bottle back to their room. I think the “idea” is to attract customers by throwing in this incentive and to sell more bottles by offering additional spirits half off. Not that you must drink it with dinner or else, but I digress. Anywho, thanks for the info!
Happy to help!
Thanks for sharing your experience at the steakhouse on carnival legend! Now I'm going to dream about all the delicious food you showed! Happy Sailing
I'm glad you liked the video! Thanks for watching!

Hi Lauren.... my husband and I really enjoyed this video… We are cruising on the legend on February 27… I did subscribe to your channel and I was wondering if you have any other dinner menu photographs. Also wondering if carnival still serves escargot nightly like they used to… Thanks for a great video!!
Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Which menus are you looking for? Dining room menus are pretty much identical fleetwide, so I effectively have them posted here: www.laurenofalltrades.blog/p/7-day-2021-mg.html
They only serve escargot once per week (for 7-day sailings at least. Couldn’t say for longer ones.)
Have a great time on your cruise!!
Thanks for showing the menu. I was worried they wouldn’t have my oysters which are the whole reason I go there. That and half priced Caymus
Glad that was helpful! Wasn’t sure about putting it in the video. I could have sworn they changed a bunch of things, but apparently I just always ordered the exact same 4 items haha 😆
Hey babes! going on my legend in 2 days can’t wait, having steak night on Wen.
Thanks for watching. Have a great time and enjoy your steak!

We were on the ship with you and your husband Lauren. We were the newlyweds of only 2 years on stage I was dressed up as the pink haired 80’s girl in the tutu and my husband knew my bra size, lol 😂. Lee kept shaking my hand really hard and long and I couldn’t figure out why till the bra size answer made me realize what he was doing. Hysterical 😂😂😂😂😂. So much fun. Can’t wait til January (33 more days) to be back on her for the 2 week Panama Canal cruise 🚢
That's so cool! I love all of Carnival's cruise directors haha. Thanks for watching!

Do you pay extra for this meal or is it included! Going on a cruise in april just trying to figure out everything!
It's $38 per person. I can't believe I forgot to say that in the video lol. Have a Great time on your cruise! Thanks for watching!

@@laurenofalltrades Thanks! Im so confused bc people keep telling me restaurants are included but the last one I went on I thought it was just the buffet included
@@daniellebedard8652 Most of the different places to eat are included - the main dining room, Guy's Burgers, Blue Iguana Cantina (burritos & tacos), and some others depending on the ship. I don't think that any ships ONLY have the buffet included.
I have all the menus for all restaurants found on all Carnival ships on my blog. The ones that cost extra are indicated as such: www.laurenofalltrades.blog/p/carnival-food.html
. Does $38 include anything from the menu
if you have to ask, its not worth it
