Wonderful recreation of natural landscape. I work in nature and so am lucky enough to get to see sights like that on the regular.
We who appreciate it need to be advocates for nature; because nature can't afford its own lawyers.

Hetch Hetchy is a cute name - where'd they get that from? 🤭
After bumping my head and briefly moving to CT this past week, natural beauty is very much on my mind. There wasn't much to see in New Preston, but I was enthralled by the variety of trees with hanging leaves and flowering plants. I'll be looking for nature again in NYC.
"...and from outrageous evil, compensating good in some form most surely come."
🔥🔥🔥 Very powerful words. May they hold true for nature and mankind.

John Gast's Manifest Destiny looks like a painting from a really talented 4th grader.

Studies show the Hetch Hetchy can be restored and that San Francisco can improve its water system so that its Tuolumne River supplies can be stored downstream of Yosemite. The City is unwilling, however, to consider making any changes.
My best idea is to build and install Desalination Plants, along the States Coastline and Sacramento River.
Yosemite belongs to all of us, not just one city. Hetch Hetchy Valley should be restored for the enjoyment of all.
