Mike, those people who said mean things on this one. Probably never been on a ranch. They don't know what they're talking about. Just ignore them. Haters are gonna hate no matter what you do. You can't fix stupid people Mike. Theirs no cure for it.

Being a construction contractor for almost 50 years, I get a kick out of all the different kinds of projects you have done in the last few years. I can understand why your least popular video was your least popular for many folks, but watching the innovative ways you get things done is quite interesting. For a one-man band for most of the year, you manage to do what is ultimately the most important: you get things done. Mike

Losing No. 2 was personal for me. As ranchers, we are responsible for the care of our livestock. No matter how close we are or not to them, it hurts every time. And the fact that we keep doing it knowing the results will be the same with the next No. 2. It is what makes us human. Good job on give her the best life cow can have.

My favorite video was saying goodbye to Number 2. It broke my heart but showed how ranchers do have a heart. They do have feelings. Their cows and animals aren't just money, they are cherished beings. God made them before he even made man. Significant much? Thank you for sharing the good AND the bad, Mike. It is life and it is real. God bless ❤

As a fellow rancher, it’s always hard to make our business sunshine and rainbows. Whether people like it or not, it’s all things that have to happen for big plan to work. You have always shown that you really do care about animal welfare. I’m glad there are families like yours that have found success in the UA-cam thing and showcasing what it takes to get the food on the table for all Americans! Happy 2024!

I really like All your videos, Mike. I have always been a city girl, but I have found your videos sooo informative. I love seeing all the animals and how you handle any problems that come up with them. But I also like your project videos, things that you, Erin, Jeff and Kari get done to hopefully keep “Our Wyoming Life” running well with as few glitches as possible. Keep up all the hard work. My favorite video of 2023 was your tribute to #2. It was sad, for sure, but it was done with such love and respect that I was very impressed by the video. I believe the worst videos are not showing fuzzy warm stuff or bloody, pussy stuff, but I enjoy them because I want to see life on the farm as it is.
Keep on doing what you guys do the best with all of your hard work, your kindness to others and your desire to help your neighbors and teach the rest of us how it all actually works. We will keep watching.!

Nice to have you back again! Missed you over the holidays. Interesting how large the swings are in popularity with different subject matters in your content. Either way I enjoy all the offerings and generally learn something from each of them. A huge take away I get is how much you care for the animals on the ranch not only because they are a money source since you are a business but because you actually care about them. Keep up the great work, stay safe and these days stay warm!!

Never a bad video, Mike. You’ll always have some videos that are more interesting. But, the OWLifers will always watch and be happy that you’re providing us all the entertainment and education that we love. Don’t have to love animals to find a pimple popping video on UA-cam. But you have to love the ranch to find a video about scooping poop out of a random barn in Wyoming.

Mike I've been watching for years and visited you it's always been educational and fun. You always show the good the bad and the ugly!
Some of the things that have to happen to get food on people's tables isn't always pleasant but have to be done for the good of the animals.
It takes thick skin to put yourself out there and some people will never understand.
But they don't get to see the sunrises and sun sets we do.
I look forward to every video. Some of the things you do are not the way I would do them. THATS OK!!
It's great to see how things can be done differently.
Its been fun watching how thingshave changed and the seasons go by.
Keep it up! Don't worry about the naysayers!

Happy new Year!!! My reflection goes back to 2022/23' knowing you worked so hard with your herd; good nutrition, vaccinations, fresh water, weaning calves, that got your herd through the winter months. Then came calving season and your brought the first time heifers up close so you could watch over them. Unfortunately, it was a struggle for you to have so many problems with those heifers. Mike, you never gave up, frustrated. You did the "best" you could- Fact, it will show come 2024 calving season, it will be good!! Stay safe and warm-

I have been with you for 3 or 4 years now, I think. I haven't found anything you've done lest or worst. it's your job that you do very well, the animals are neat to watch and having lived in town all my life I have no idea what goes into a Ranchers life or the cattle they care for. It is what is it. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Can't be terrific all the time. Nothing in life is. if something here is unpleasant, I close my eyes until its over. No big deal. Calving time is fun to watch but truthfully, I'm facinated by it all. Excape to the wide open spaces where life is so much simpler at least as I see it. I miss seeing the kids. They are the best co-stars. Im just very appreciative to you for being here. Blessings on you this winter season and spring. From Washington state, Glenda

The pus squirted out across the room. We laughed as well. Surely your viewers need to give you credit presenting "Our Wyoming Life". By the way, a friend and I sprayed down a barn interior one Saturday when I was going to university. It was for a fungus. (We wore masks.) We appreciate the work you do on the ranch and the work you do to present your work editing and getting videos out regularly. . . . keep on, keeping on.

I would say I wait for calving season and haying I love the work days where stuff gets accomplished that needs doing. The first three videos were not my favorite but the last three were right up my alley. So I’m watching all the videos because to me I don’t want to miss a thing on the ranch. Thanks for what you do! ❤

You have to over look some people that don't know what they are saying. You do great. We love to watch you and the family. We are so glad you sharing with us. I think its great to see all the babys .all the animals. It looks fun and hard work.

I’m afraid the most memorable for me was the was when the momma cow died because so much of her came out with the birth - I forget the term now - and you getting the colostrum from her after she had died to save her baby. That was heartbreaking, but I loved how much you cared about the loss, Mike.

Temperature -37 ° at 7:26am Saturday 1.13.24 Gillette Wyoming you have to be cold Mike! Hopefully you're opening the gate to let A and B together to go into the barn. Wind chill up to -60 stay safe

I don't know what people expect when watching your videos and they feel the need to leave such mean comments. You keep things real, and for me, thats what I find interesting. Whether its helping a momma cow have her calf or hugging one of the emus. All days are not unicorns and rainbows. Your care and concern for every little thing on your ranch shows. Its hard work that many these days are just not accustomed to. Perhaps Escaping the Ordinary scares some folks. So thank you for sharing in your life - the good, bad, ugly, and mundane. God Bless and I wish the Very Best to you, your family, helpers, and critters in 2024!

I even got my husband to watch the Bluetti one because he has been installing some solar and generator power for us. I don't find any of your videos boring, but sometimes I don't have time to watch the whole thing at once, and then I forget to go back and finish it. I love ypur channel though. And I love the projects that Erin is doing also.

Good job on this. Although I was not really surprised by top one and two, I was surprised the breaking wind video did as poorly as it did. I got a chuckle out of title as well. There are many a video that are well done, it is hard to choose. However, I think my favorite to date are the ones about the history of the ranch and the tributes you did to Gilbert. Well done on this video Mike!

Happy New Year Mike and family. Every video you put out has a great amount of value for different people. Just like the old saying: "You can't please all the people all of the time", each video has an important value for someone. For me. Every video shows how much you care for the animals and how you try to make every day a special day for every animal. Your care, emotions and values you display is an inspiration for your viewers and a great way for others to follow. Be safe and continue to do what you love and keeping us entertained and learning from you.

I wish people realized that it can be hard to get vets out to the Ranch, and your doing what the vet would do. I am sorry that people point it out so much, but I laugh at the same time because so many people react over responding. I actually don't think you had any bad video. I always enjoy watching your videos, but I do think any video of you and Jeff is always so interesting. Happy New Year!

Thing with some of the crap comments is most of them dont have a clue what EXACTLY ranchers and farmers ACTUALLY do day to day. It is not always sippin a beer on the porch sayin yip.. Barns have to be cleaned, animals sadly get sick and vets cant always get to ya... I would say after 15 plus years you know what to do. Its not like you sit back and do nothing... Damned if you do, damned if you dont... keep doing what you are doing.. Animal care is NEVER always textbook... people need to realize that dang.

Honestly Mike, I have a hard time choosing, I liked aspects of all of them, but if I had to choose, I would say the project choices would be up there. I chose that one because everyone has a different opinion and mine is from a farmers point of view. My favorite would be between handling the cows and haying, probably haying is #1, which I have done for 30 years or so. Thanks for all you gave us last year, I hope your year goes well, have a goodnight!
