I am a frugal granny. Wish I could show you this weeks meat haul for 3 people. $12.50. Had coupon for a free rope of smoked sausage at Kroger and a $2 off coupon for 1 lb pkg of Kroger Bacon. I paid $2.99. $6.61 (35% off) 3 lb pkg of boneless pork loin (cut in half for freezer). $2.75 for 1.38 lbs of Beef strips (2 meals). I will get 7 meals. The other items for meals I already have in my pantry and fridge. YAY!
Omg the cheesy bread looks like it came out so good, I want to try mine out like that, I'm always picking up those clearance breads from Walmart. Yay, thanks for the idea!!
You are right about $5 meals being harder to make i use to have so many 5 dollar meals but with 3 teens i can't make it work now. I try for $8 dinners now.
I used to coupon too but stopped with the pandemic but it was a money saver for sure. I totally understand why you want to use the things at your house to save money. It is the best way to save the most. Maybe you can tell people if they went to Walmart or Aldi only how much it would be and it would please both sides. The hardest part is we all have different things in our house. I make my dough from scratch in the bread machine but totally understand that not everyone wants to do the same. Love the great ideas! I looked on Swagbucks but I only have 300 sb for two jars. What deal did you have?
You are not perfect but you are real!, I don’t watch the ones who have perfect as to me they aren’t living realistically so thank you for that, also your kids are so cute😊
Picnic roast is a pork roast and chuck is a beef roast... I was wondering if you thought you bought beef as the seasoning packet you used is normally used for beef.. Was wondering how you liked it?
Haha I know! After I said it I was like that’s beef you dummy lol. But yes that was my first time with the picnic pork roast. It was good, definitely like shoulder cut for pork and the chuck for beef.
@@CookiesandBacon22 If you cook picnic roast low and slow for a long time, it gets really tender. I usually just coat all sides with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper and let it cook on low in the crockpot all day. Yum.
@@CookiesandBacon22 wow you cook really good food. I think cost of living in Oklahoma is cheaper than othrer states. Do you usually groceries from walmart. As an outsider, it many people are saying that inflation is due to bidens policies. Is that correct
Dollar tree sells newspapers or there is a place called samscouponclippings I believe is what it’s called and you can pick and choose which coupons you want for a small charge.
@@CookiesandBacon22 l really did use a lot of coupons when my children where still at home. Then it became just me and l guess l just stopped doing it. I use to do home gardening then too. Have just got back into doing that this year. Luckily l have a balcony at my apt complex to use. Thanks for the info will check it out.
You're very fortunate to have a discount grocery store... all we have is an Aldi... you would never see bread for 40 cents there... what's the name of the store where you get all these great deals? I think the mozzarella was only $1.50?!?! That's insanely cheap!
Got 7 pounds pd of chicken legg skinless boneless for 6.93 99cents a pound and pork boneless 8 pound for 7.92 and 6 pounds hamburger 1.83 a pound for 10.98 enough meat for 3 months
Fetch can have some good deals every now and then. Ibotta is usually the best app. You have to use them all to work together on the deals. Sometimes I make money by doing it that way.
Okay, forget the whining people. You do you. It's your channel. These videos are an inspiration and I for one, am grateful 😀

Just don’t put tons of garlic powder on there like I did! It was very salty. Soo good though!!
I love the idea that you use what you have in your pantry and freezer. I do it too. It's completely fine
To make it easier to spread dough out without your hands being sticky I spray my hands with cooking spray or just run water on my hands
Everything looks delicious, especially the fajitas and the roast!
Thank you!
Looks delicious

I use to coupon a lot when raising my children. But l use to be able to clip out of the paper. Where do you get your coupon from?

Where do you get coupons at
Online, or mainly through apps. Shopkick, Shopmium, Ibotta, fetch. Retailers have them on their websites as well.
? Where do you get your paper coupons?
Coupons.com or samsclippingcoupons.com
