    Well I definitely prefer the Golf 7, having to control everything with the screen or touch buttons is only asking for trouble when electronics break down....

    • @Astke
      @Astke 4 роки тому +3

      You know that buttons are mechanical and break as well..... just like those small separate LCD's they use for the temperature in other cars. How many times have you seen in older cars that the infotainment works well after 12 years, but the AC temperature display LCD is broken. Many times.
      Also buttons can get stuck, fall out and fade. Most infotainment errors can be fixed by an update or by restarting it. A broken button , well, you can't.

      You’ll find that all those buttons and switches on your car are still electronic. For example if you use a switch to turn on the lights you are not actually turning on the lights as such you are only sending a message to micro processor to turn on the lights. It makes very little difference to the cars reliability whether it’s a switch, a touch pad or touch screen. Is a computer keyboard anymore reliable than an iPad screen?

      Golf, definitely. It's a much better car. Infotainment system is much easier to use, it's much much quieter (Corolla is one of the noisiest cars in this segment) and much more responsive to drive. also depending on the market VW can be cheaper.

    Witam, oglądając Pana przejazdy innymi samochodami odnoszę wrażenie, być może mylne, że w tym Golfie przy prędkości tzw. autostradowej pojawia się dość intensywny i uciążliwy szum. I nie jest to raczej hałas pochodzący od silnika ale szum od pokonywanego oporu powietrza. W tym modelu jest wyjątkowo wyeksponowany, chyba, że zmienił Pan kamerę na model z lepszymi parametrami audio.
    Otwarcie klapy bagażnika wygląda tu trochę jak dodatkowy warunek konieczny do odpalenia auta (zabezpieczenie antykradzieżowe) ;-), bo jeśli chodziło o demonstrację przestrzeni bagażowej to trochę nie wyszło - niewiele widać i szybkość operacji błyskawiczna.
    Czy nawiewy nie są czasem za nisko? Jak pójdzie szybkie schładzanie to prawa ręka może być sztywna po dłuższej jeździe. Jak Pan to ocenia jako tester?

    • @sic22l
      @sic22l 4 роки тому +1

      Szum wydawał się pochodzić od kół, szum powietrza był na chwilę słyszalny gdy "Joe" zbliżał się do 150km/h. Co do samej intensywności trudno coś powiedzieć bo tego nie da się określić po materiale wideo, trzeba się przejechać.Zarówno w Golfie, jak i w Octavii nawiewy są dużo za nisko, wieją na miednicę kierowcy i łokieć od spodu.

      He was driving pretty spiritedly (it pulls strongly from 1500rpm, you don't need to rev it to go fast) while keeping elevated revs, like 1000 rpm more than necessary. As a result - cylinder deactivation never kicked in. This engine is particularily economical on the highway, first tests of both new Golf and Octavia show that it needs about 6,5l/100km at 140 km/h (highway speed limit in Poland).
      And still 7,6l/100km while driving spiritedly is what the old 1.6 MPi would use while being much slower.
