The audio change at 0:04 😂😂 it sounds, like its swapping from a modern day youtube video to a voice from a trailer on a rented VHS videotape 😂 its actually cool
I compare Doug Bradley's performance to Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs. He left such an impression and a powerful performance with such little screen time.. I mean Hopkins got an Oscar but that's because its a different type of film.
Pinhead did not let the girl go because of compassion, he wanted the one who had escaped, her uncle or something. Then he wanted the girl after the fact, because he never "promised" her freedom, meaning he never intended to release her, only give her a little hope in order to help them find the one. I am speaking of the original Hellraiser, by the way.
Hellraiser 1 and 2 would of been the best all around if they were consolidated into one film. Hellraiser 3 is the movie that made Doug Bradley's character cheezy like Freddy and Jason. Which I didn't like. But they redeemed the original idealism with Hellraiser: Bloodline and as far I'm concerned 1,2 and 4 are the only true Hellraiser movies.
So I’m rewatching Hellraiser 2 and 3, and after watching hell on earth I just realized did Pinhead ever interact with the doctor cenobite again? Like in between the ending Hell on Earth and Bloodlines?
Actually, the cenobites in the first two HR movies were not per-se villains, they were basically neutral entities who were there to do a job/clean-up once a someone opened the box, AKA agents of "reap what you sow" so to speak. Granted their methodologies of clean-up seem villainous by human physical perspective. They still had to be summoned. The actual villains were the humans (i.e. Frank, Julia) Take notice to how in HR II the original four did not take Tiffany for opening the box. Pinhead/Hell Priest knew she was merely an unwitting tool used for the purpose of Channard's agenda/desires. The "modus operandi" of the box was based upon desire.

damn, clive barker gets no respect.
“hates the title Pinhead. Its Hell Priest”
video: “So Pinhead….”

Are the cinnamonbites really villains? They are merely there to say howdy to people who chat them up.
mmmm murderous cinnamonbites.
demons to some, angels to others - I call BS on that.
I wouldn’t consider them to be.
Most people seek them out so they know what they’re getting into.
