Jimmy's voice actor, Keenan Christiansen, was a kid when he got the role and his voice started to deepen as the show went on. That's why he sounds off.
We also know that he's retired from voice acting for unknown reason.

I love how Eddy is forced to play the peacemaker for once… and actually proves pretty apt at it, even if he failed. It shows he’s willing to pull his weight to keep his friends together if he has to
Although, given how petty Eddy is, I feel like he would have gotten Sarah to make Ed throw away the fish bone just to spite him for messing up his scam. And knowing that he CAN'T say no to Sarah or his mother, he would have.
Run for your ed was one of my favorite episodes. It was epic to see the Kankers full power unleashed, the other kids get bullied for once, and the Eds get away without a scratch. Sarah being tied up and quivering in fear was so satisfying.

That scene where Kevin appears inside with an evil look on his face is one of the funniest moments in the entire show.
Honestly I think that they made DD and Kevin have these random moments of bonding. Even in later episodes Kevin is not as much of a jerk to DD. When Ed hid Eddy's magazines he was actually just talking to DD. I assume DD "misplacing" the spare key in front of Kevin showed that they sometimes have common goals
Also Rolf continuing to show how he has much more awareness than the others: He and his animals knew of the Kanker's rampage before they struck and he was the only one aware of the boomerang's effects lol
Out of all the out of pocket things Ed says, I imagine “Stinky Hat,” is one of the more funnier lines to me.

“In Case of Ed” has quite possibly my favorite Ed line. “I am turning into a werewolf, Eddy!” As Eddy is MOONING Kevin? So clever.
“Run for Your Ed” is terrifying but cathartic. Getting pushed around by the Kankers for so long, it’s nice to have the boys leave without a scratch while the rest of the isolating neighbors suffer a bit of Kanker-patented judgment day.
54:18 the only cartoon that came to this level of secondhand embarrassment was Dexter Lab when Dexter also flipped out, took off his clothes and slipped a live goldfish in his drawers 🥲

Struck by a bolt of lighting.(Although for some reason he was burnt before getting struck.)
His house collapses on him.
Multiple things happen to him off-screen during the scene where Plank answers the phone.
Double D was on some b.s. that episode. I honestly just think he was enjoying Eddy get hurt by all those random things.
Say what ever you want, but it was hard for me not to laugh at Eddy's torture.
Pretty sure the phone only curses the people who take it for themselves. Johnny didn’t so the curse never left eddy.
Eddy also never performed that sacred ritual Rolf did to free himself of the curse

Robbin Ed is one of my favorite episodes, a good old superhero story, especially when Eddy uses superpowers. Plus the Thing-a-Majig is a good invention, gives you whatever you need. Shame they didn't build more, the Eds would've profited from it.

I dunno if it’s just me but I actually find it a little cute that Sarah wanted Ed to walk her to Jimmy’s even though she was fine going on her own. I read it as her wanting to spend time with her brother for once, even if she went about conveying it in a rather bratty way.

I remember the telephone episode very well and I suspect that the phone has some mystical powers that whomever is the owner that answers they get cursed and even when passing it to Johnny Eddy still is cursed. I see why Rolf wanted nothing to do with it.
Actually that would make more sense why the curse only affected Eddy

Eddy failed to take the proper precautions when it came to disposing the phone. you saw Rolf had a salt shaker and refused to touch it with his bare hands when he was burying it
I always thought since Eddy willingly took the phone he was inviting the curse in. And the only way to get rid of the curse is the do the ritual that Rolf was doing in the beginning or you have to pass the phone on to someone else. Kinda like the movie Drag Me To Hell
its like the emerald in that jackie chan episode, It needs to be taken not given to pass the curse

The reason why rhe cursed phone only targeted Eddy is because he's the one who made first contact when he answered it. And I think why it still targeted him after he got rid of it is because he didn't do that salting dance ritual that Rolf did.

You know for the episode run for your Ed in the beginning seeing the kankers trying to look for who sneaking around their house; as a kid I used to imagine and have nostalgia of Peter Pan, the two animated movies of it and mostly return to Neverland it kind of reminded me.
OH I actually have an answer for Rolf having salt on him. I study the occult a lot and it's common practice in occult practices to salt possessed or cursed objects. And sometimes salt yourself while trying to banish it from your life. So that time Rolf wasn't being completely random.
We're almost at the end of season 4 this month and we're getting season 5 and a movie/final series of the show
So whoever digs up the phone gets the curse, and you need to do the weird salt dance and bury it to be free of it.
And then the personality swapping boomerang. Lotta cursed items in this season.

Honestly, I never liked the phone episode and felt it was made in an attempt to torture Eddy and Double D was really getting on my nerves calling these incidents coincidences. This was probably one of those rare moments I wouldn't mind his ass getting kicked by Kevin.
I always did like the boomerang episode. Classic comedy episode. Although, I kind of wonder how it would have effected Kevin, Jazz, Johnny and the Kankers?
Kevin would have turned into a bigger and more effeminate pansy than Jimmy. Nazz would have turned into a thuggish bully. Johnny would have become terrified of plank and insisted the hunk of wood was conspiring against him. The Kankers would have become good samaritans who like to help others and are highly conscientious of when others are uncomfortable with something.

Season 4 of Ed edd n eddy was honestly the best! 👏😂 this show is honestly my favorite cartoon that cartoon network made hands down.
Season 4 episode 10 was definitely one of my favorites! The fact that the kanker sisters chose to go on a rampage and caused all that damage and nobody could stop ✋ them shows that they are the "Apex predators" nobody/nothing seems to be able to stop them or scar them at all! 😨
