One of the reason for putting up an entire concert was to give people a view of the variety of music that David plays. Normally people tend to film the P Family songs and miss out on some of the other unique interpretations that David presents us with. Thanks for noticing.

I love the video! I live in Montana so I never got the chance to see him in concert. I love the unscripted, unchoreographed, funny, self-deprecating concerts he does. He interacts with the audience like you’re having your own personal concert and jam session with him. So what if he doesn’t remember the words to a song he hasn’t performed in 40 years. The common theme in all of his concerts is that, the world could be coming down around this mans ears, but when he’s on that stage all that disappears and it is when he’s the happiest and feels loved. That holds true for the 70’s as well. I would’ve killed or died to see this man in concert. RIP David Cassidy.....

He’s doing a phenomenal job here. Huge variety of songs. A few lyrics missed here and there, but it feels like a genuine spontaneous jam. The audience have the chance to be truly part of it. Something randomly popped up a couple of weeks back drawing me into this music. It has been an emotional mix of discovery, utter joy and heart break. I will not have the opportunity to ever experience it in person, but this is as close as it gets . Forever grateful music lives on supporting us long after the artists have left. Love and peace ❤

As the world ages, " David Cassidy " will go down as The Best 70s American Solo artist, especially for his age.

David WAS the music. He throws himself completely into everything. You can see his heart and soul has always been 110% in what he was doing. Singing, performing, writing, playing instruments etc. He just totally immersed himself into it. You always got the entire David Cassidy at every event and in every song. He was such an amazing performer...and amazingly sexy too.

He sounds great and his voice sounds normal too. I have been watching a lot of his video's and interviews and his mannerisms and the way he talks really changed. Thank you, David, for being so wonderful and giving us the happy times. RIP our dear friend!

It seems to me he had it together in 2013 though one commentary I read says otherwise. His voice isn't always right up front because he is using 'dynamics' to project real emotions. As for his voice quality it is as fine as it was when I first saw him on television decades ago. Over all I'm impressed. Even his choreography is great, it is down to earth and he's not hopping around stage like a madman with an electric guitar trying to create some far out impression.
So David, high scores from me, thanks for given the world something that touches and inspires.

Alcoholics do not listen to people around them. They lie about what they do. They hide their drinking. It is a real addiction. Addicts lie about everything to others and to themselves.

So sorry for all the pain he couldn't resolve. Our psyches are fragile and some events scar us beyond repair.
He created so much joy around him. And from what I have watched him say on these concert videos and interviews, the public truly brought him joy as well. He never forgets a thank you. A beautiful soul. ❤
Endless thank you's for putting together this video!!!

I think he always had the talent and looks to be a superstar for many more years than the 1970s but trying to get away from the P Family image probably alienated a lot of fans. That being said, I think he's come around to accepting the fame of that TV show and continues to perform the old hits at all his concerts. I haven't heard any complaints about the effect of the P Family in many many years.

    • @drfreud65

drlucio Honestly, David disappeared from my radar in the 70s. Not by my choice. I've asked my friends, too, and in my area, far as we can tell, we got no news at all about him. I remember hearing about his dad's death, but nothing else. We didn't know about the 1989 album at all, in fact, the first I heard it was after he died.

    • @JamesCAsphalt8
      @JamesCAsphalt8 4 роки тому +2

I do not agree. I think his fans still loved him. Also, he wanted to be a serious actor and never really was able to supercede his music career. Other factors led to his misery like his poor relationship with his father. He was a great star but ironically, not in the way he wanted to be. As far as his fans, I think he expanded his fan base and his old fans never left him.

One thing that amazes me is how did David learn to play all these instruments I don't think there was an instrument out there he couldn't play but there is one person that could maybe have a chance to be somewhat like David and that is his brother Sean I heard him saying and people I'm telling you if they had put up a a screen you couldn't see who was singing for a minute there or maybe a lot of minutes I would have thought it was David Sean is the only one that have even come close just sounding like David and his son well I don't know he went after his mother over David you know that Sue Swiffer yeah I know her name I call her Swiffer you can tell I don't care for her much and I don't we come on the man was dying and she took back his name after divorcing him and took her maiden name back I guess she thought taking his name back with further her career while the laugh is on her it didn't work that man was so unhappy on this Earth and the women that were with him and that had married him they just didn't know the gym they really had yeah him going through things might have been tough but remember the vows that they took for better for worse and sickness and in health well that sure ended that didn't it they took pills and ran and the other two took off before he even got sick well it don't matter he always had his fans and he knew that part because he always liked they say felt greater on stage and performing then he did in his real life and that is just heartbreakingly sad happy singing in heaven David because I know you're rocking we love you sweet David and you'll always be loved and missed God bless you and your brother Sean

think he was at his happiest performing :) silly :) loved the 'you have reached a disconnected decade' :) i think to after seeing a program on dementia patients they generally have a vacant look in their eyes; he doesn't have that and he seemed quite cognitive and as he admitted he drank too much and that affected his memory not that he had dementia (he may have had some of the signs of the beginnings of it)

Laura Stone, DC.was seemingly none too pleased with being stuck in the teen idol phase of his career in his 60s, kept performing "his hits" but recorded other songs that never took hold with his fan base, and I think that caused him anger & pain, which he could not hide ... aging, drinking, dementia all probably at play here...
