I think she actually has hamster-like natural body features. Her claws come out during fights and in some animations and she seems to behave with them as if they are actually part of her own body rather than some weird cute accessory, they might be mechanical parts to enhance her movements but it seems a stretch. Even the tail while supported by tech components I think is actually her own, the brown part, the way she moves and is confident with it seems too natural and organic for it to be 100% mechanical. The bolts and supports on her feet are probably meant to enhance her running and jumping exceptional capabilities… somehow. Still no clue of how she gets out of there 😂 Ngl the bones on her _assets_ were unexpected, but I’m not that surprised considering what they can do in game. Thank you for your insight 🫡

Bones are put everywhere physics are needed (hair and backpacks have bones so they react to the animation, they usually arent animated manually (except maybe in movies where precision is needed?)). It doesn't necessarily mean that they are posed intentionally. "Coincidental" recoil works this way.
Normal armatures do not have those bones. automatic parenting and or weight painting doesnt create such either. While these are definetely for animation, as other characters dont have them because they have skirts and the likes, these are intentional.
@OphisOuro Sorry if my original comment sounded aggressive or anything - I'm not an expert :( . The bones were put intentionally of course but they are likely not posed with keyframes during animations I meant. Like hair they react to whatever physics set up is used.
@ oh no you didnt all good! The hair is much of the same with bones in them. when rigging this stuff, a value is set to how much these bones can move. I guess for cutscenes they might move them themselves sometimes, but in game play its automatic with these values (also why her booty moves more in cutscenes than in game kek someone was paid to animate it more)

She has a wire of feature movements. I like that she’s a girl boss, but I also like that she’s Scottish because most of all the other characters are Japanese and I think there’s probably like some Chinese characters under there too, but I’m really glad that they chose to make her different and excitable she’s really easy she actually get along with.

Hmm for Wuwa so far we have a mix of all. Lingyang being an actual anthro, Changli being said to be a phoenix and Lumi just looking like a hamster. I think we’ll get more anthros of all types of
Its same concept as wetsuit as any fiction tight suit etc is based on. They're pretty stretchable, looking at the design this is probably how she puts it. -Sit down , crample? the suit for ease of access in the right leg part. -Put the legs in the back opening, put the right side leg first given the right leg part fabric doesn't go all the way to the feet and the boots is separated, so she has better movement etc in it. -Then left side leg, after that stand up as the tail probably gets in the way as its probably integrated in the suit, after that she make sure she properly,slowly put it on, then simply slides her head in hole. -After putting the suit, she wears the separated boots etc. -Then do her hair, then jacket, viola finish.

Ill have to pay attention to future models i suppose. If in the future, characters like Zani have this, maybe they changed their animation technique? we'll see
I meant for Punishing Gray Raven characters, there's some constructs in there that have somewhat blatant discrepancies between control state models and the canned animations (usually used for stage intros, outros, special interactions and combat transitions), which is likely because of the same kind of rigging. One of the more egregious recent examples i noticed like literally last week, was with Bridget (unfortunately not guilty gear lol). They have been trying it out for over a year or two at this point i believe.

Im reviewing the model, not the character as a whole. Sfx, different versions etc. are in engine aka in game and are not available in the standalone mesh provided by Kuro Games.
