Lots of humans just lack the empathy necessary to care about anybody than themselves and their closest circle. I had arguments with people that actually care more about gas getting a bit more expensive than human beeings suffering and dying in ukraine. I wonder how it must be to live like that.🤔
Unfortunately that's pretty standard. It's human nature not to be overly concerned about other people far away, and terrible things are happening all over the world, all the time. For instance, what did you do to help people starving in Yemen, Syrian refugees, or even people working for pennies mining lithium or growing cocoa. Or when Russia seized Crimea. Ukraine is only different because it could potentially escalate to a world war and because the bravery of the Ukrainians inspired the world (people love a David vs. Goliath story). If Ukrainians had surrendered immediately we'd be talking about the Russian invasion of Moldova now instead.

Lets hope that we can get the airdefence systems we agreed on, i think that Germany and Sweden will donate patriot systems so far and we must stop this systematic destruction and genocide by the Russians.
