- GTA IV characters appears in GTA V! I didn't film all of scenes for certain characters as i don't want to stuff up my drive as i got other videos for others.

imagine in GTA 6 when a character introduction happens, we see Lamar doing a robbery or committing a crime and then all of a sudden, you shoot the guy and kill him. That's exactly how I felt when Johnny got killed.

People forget that at the end of the DLC Johnny had lost everything. His best friend was killed by Niko , the mafia kicked him out of liberty city , half of the lost members are dead or think he is a traitor and was forced to kill billy gray . Billy Gray was like Johnny big brother and was devastated when billy was goin to Rat him out to the Feds , Johnny was not happy when he shoot him , he only killed him when billy tried to kill him . Of course he became a junky, he was miserable even in the game some members of the New Lost tough that Johnny was weak and that Billy was a good leader, he was already dead , Trevor put him out of his misery.

Johnny may have lost his clubhouse and his motorcycle club but he still had Terry, Clay and Angus to keep him going there's no reason for The Lost to be in GTA 5 It should be The Angels Of Death in GTA 5 as their bigger than The Lost MC

for the record UL Paper appears in the GTA online doomsday heist which happens several years after GTA V events, so he canonically survived the mission where you can kill him

GTA IV is still the greatest theme song ever. Also, it's amazing how they used the skeletons in GTA V to make Michael walk like a wiseguy hitman, Franklin walk like an OG, and Trevor walk like a methed-up psycopath. Last also: It blows my mind how I went through all that stuff with The Lost and really got to see the amount of chaos they survived, only for them to make the fatal mistake of taking up near Trevor.

To those who are complaining about how GTA 4 characters were treated: I think the point the writers were trying to make was that being a criminal was not as glorifying as their games made them seem. While Johnny seemed like a badass biker cowboy in TLaD, his lifestyle made him become nothing but a meth head.
Technically, Trevor is just a slightly more psychopathic methhead. If they did him dirty like this in GTA 6 I wouldn't be surprised, going with your theory.
Okay but they just ignored the character arc of Johnny. Johnny burnt down his clubhouse because his life of crime and the gang wars ended up making more enemies for him than he could handle, he almost died and he almost went to prison for the rest of his life, so him being involved at all with Trevor and the meth heads isn’t likely. Ashley contacts him after the main story of the game about how she got kicked out of rehab and he tells her to stop contacting him. Not only that, but I’m fairly certain johnny was vehemently against hard drugs.

A lot of people are understandably mad that characters like Rocco and Johnny are easily killed off. But the point Rockstar was trying to make is that plot armor expires and good characters can die in vain. Badasses, intelligent, and remarkable characters can just run out of luck and make poor choices.
Johnny at some point gave Ashley another chance and it fell back on him. She obviously got him back on drugs which made him a soft, weak shell of his former self. He made an even worse leader by making deals with Trevor Philips which led to the downfall of the Lost MC, and his death. Like Trevor said, he was weak for Ashley, meth, and it wasn’t a good idea to come at Trevor in such a state.
As for Rocco, he was just some loser in Michael’s way. He was just a mobster wannabe who liked to use his position over people to push their buttons. It all ended when Luis’ killed his Uncle right in front of him. He left Algonquin to either escape Luis’ wrath or he just ran out of protection from anybody he bullied. He took advantage of those weaker than him. Solomon Richards, an elderly man, and totally underestimated Michael. Michael put him in his place instantly. Michael told him to stay away from his business. Rocco said he wouldn’t but did anyway when Michael wasn’t at the studio, when caught Michael killed him. Michael doesn’t care about who he is because he isn’t such a threat without the Ancelottis.
I mean yes and no. Look up The Worf Effect. That’s it. That’s the only reason they did this. Not whatever you wrote that’s way too long.

I'd also like to point out that the very intro of GTA V shows that criminals don't always have a happy ending or glorified ending. Yes, Michael faked his death, but in Trevor's eyes, Michael died to a sniper who got a lucky shot. Michael didn't go out in style like other people (*cough* John Marston)

Terry's death was confirmed canon, but Clay is presumably alive because he posts on Lifeinvander that he was run over by Trevor but survived, even if he is killed with any other weapon.

Johnny K was one of the most prestigious and well-respected members of the Lost MC (among other Lost of course) and then he gets knocked out by a bottle and stomped to death by Trevor. It seems too hilarious to think about. I mean he takes 3 shotgun rounds to the chest and multiple pistol inflicted gunshot wounds but a bottle knocks him out XD

That's because only a GTA protagonist can permanently kill a GTA protagonist. Same reason why Michael and Trevor don't respawn if Franklin kills them.
Despite the treatment of the Gta 4 characters I do think their includement in GTA 5 was more then fair and it tells a pretty valuable lesson, no matter how successful you get, you will have your downfall, all these people were at their peak in GTA 4 and they met their end in Five, I'm certain that in GTA 6 some of the GTA 5 characters are going to die, by our hands or otherwise, it's the circle of criminality unfortunately

I think it established Trevors character quite well, you knew straight away he was a character to be taken serious in the story. And it was a sad but fitting end for Johnny who had finally let his demons beat him, he was a junkie when he died not the same man we played as.

Johnny did not get killed, you can prove this by shooting at him and seeing that red X appear on your screen, although you CAN actually kill him AND kill Ashley by running over them with the car…
He may have not died, but he did bleed out. Making the whole situation worse because it was a slow and painful death, and well he got buried anyways so there's no evidence that he's still alive..

I always felt bad for Marnie, being used by those Epsilon clowns. But at least she's alive. Had she stayed in LC, her story wouldn't have ended well.
