Took another look at this video and I'm really inspired to plan for a new space. Still using a separate storage area in my complex with no electricity to run a similar sized store. It's about the same size, but my packing area is back home. My plan is to buy a house with an additional space larger than this at some point and use a similar layout.
Planning for a new store or a re-design of an existing layout can be tons of fun. Awe sure to try and plan to scale though otherwise it's very easy to squeeze things into the plan that physically will not fit into your space. Good luck with whatever design you go with. IF it makes you happy it will be a joy to work in and make picking and listing much more bearable.
Hi - Great video and love the colourful setup! QQ: In the long run - is it profitable? Like once you have taken into account all the drawers and storage items you bought, and the vast quality of system bricks which don't sell...... can you still make a tidy profit or just about break even?
It is still profitable but keep in mind the work involved and the time it takes to build inventory, and to fulfil orders when they do start coming in etc. It is not a get rich quick strategy.
@@BrickArena was trying to compare to what I have to work with. I have about a 10 ft x 12 ft room. But can not hang things on wall. And can only use 3 sides of the room.
There is a very good chance they will be sold or at least moved. I actually hate having the shelf as low as it is and its preventing me using some of the height above my desk for other purposes. But I'm not intending using it for more cabinets etc as this is my space where I sit on an evening using my computer, watching some youtube or other content etc. i.e relaxing for a few hours while my wife watches her soaps etc.
Lov the Lego clocks I only got one star war s one. Hopeing to get few of the Ninjago one s .asap. .do you sort the second hand Lego out as. Scratch or chip parts n brick. Put seepret. and sort the non scratch or chip brick n parts and. Yeer it would be a long process to check every part of bricks. But guy from brick link in Lego group I in. Just sale s it all mix so it's not best as I have to take out the scratch or chip bricks. Cas I building a big moc. And soon as the light. Hits the bricks. You can cee the scratches n chip s it s not a good look. Scratch an chip brick would be okay as full in brick s. If I had a brick link store. I would tittle. Scratch n chip part best . For infill s. Builds or moc s..and sale at a good price.. he sale a 1 K g bag for 50 to me. And same brick with stickers are still on brick or parts. But it okay cas I can keep them or you's them.🙂.for builds or add into my Lego City...
Yeah the clocks ae cool and I've managed to build up quite a collection. - As for sorting used anything that doesn't meet quality standards get put to one side for non saleable uses. Have never sold them in bulk yet but I may do in future.
An extremely impressive setup. Love the desk area & computers. The floating shelf above with the modular buildings is a lovely finish!
Thank you very much!
Interesting to follow your journey forward. Thanks for a great tour.
Thanks for watching! - Glad you found it interesting.

Hi Keith, do you know the brand of the small stackable drawers (Blue/clear) that you have?
All I know is that they say MFTLONG on the top and were bought from china via Ali Express.
@@BrickArena thanks buddy
Great video and tour. How big is that room?
Nevermind heard the size at the beginning of video the 2nd time I watched
Thanks for watching - Glad you got the size.

Do you think you'll eventually sell your modulars and use the shelf space for additional storage?

Nice video do you list the overflow from parts?
Yes, everything in overflow is counted and part of my inventory.

I thought we were going to have a tour of your LEGO room, not the Apple store!
I like to think of them as one, working together in harmony :)
@@BrickArena I think someone should buy you a Samsung Flip phone for Christmas 😃
Not sure I can imagine a worse gift, but at least I'm sure I could shift it on eBay.
Nice room tour here.
