This is one of the best videos I have seen on the T7. I always wanted a spinning digital platter controller, but don't see the need to spend an arm and a leg since I'm just using them in my basement for personal mixing. I'm selling my Numark Mixtrack Platinum DJ Controller to upgrade to this one.
Got mines today and did a mix test of some scratches and house music works pretty well! Oh and I did a work around for the mic sound recording in the mix as well..nice set I must say! I'm enjoying it so far! Hercules did a good job on this unit! (Used serato lite)
after 15 years of rest, im coming back to djing, thankful to this device :) this is really great to get portable but true vinylfeel experience with modern digital possibilities ... like a joke from creators, the sync button is smallest button on the device :)))
I've never considered having aux-in on a controller but when I think of it, it's quite clever. I might have my phone as a backup or playing a quick mix while I run to the restroom. Do you think using the mic-in as an aux would work? But yeah, a great video - I'm gonna get this controller soon!
I just got the T7 i like it the only problem is you can’t do backspin on it probably because of the belt drive platters other than that a good controller for the money
So this controller won't be used at its full potential unless you use Serato Pro? Why would it not be used to its full potential if you use the company software (DJuiced) that actually makes the controller? Every channel that reviews DJ controllers always pushes to subscription-based software. As beginners go, why should they spend $700 and then another $400 on software? Any Pioneer DJ in the $ 1,000 range or higher comes with a Serato Pro license.
Better is subjective. If scratching is a goal, the t7 is the better choice because it gets you used to motorized platters. Overall, the ddj 800 is a more professional controller, it has dedicated fx, you can connect turntables to it and has a layout similar to club gear. So the better question is what's important to you? One thing about the 800 is that it's discontinued so I don't know if warranty / replacement parts will be available. Edit: the 800 is also rekordbox only.
Why buy it? If everything is simple with VirtualDJ, then these functions are there. I can do all the functions with the mouse and keyboard, and not spend money on these big boxes
Please ANYONE please answer this question. There is an innofader upgrade. Yes... HOWEVER there is an INHOUSE Hercules fader upgrade for more than half the price! Can anyone verify if the inhouse upgrade compare at all to the innofader? Or is ot total bunk?
Maybe to you but I see a super easy and super portable controller to use for getting in and out of certain venues depending on what you have to do or how quickly to need to set up break down and move to the next venue or for the djs that always on the go this is perfect!
@@rick8843 yeah that’s true and again it’s all about what you need it for and how you will use it me I just want it because it’s smaller and easier to move around it will be a good back up controller to my Rane one when I want to move around and be super light and it will be easier to take in and out of town throw it right in the carry on!
It's now also natively supported in Virtual DJ
Im using vdj with this controller
good
I'm using Virtual DJ with this 🔥🔥🔥 one of the best by far

@Mojaxx mentioned, "The Innofader team has confirmed that their drop-in replacement for all 3 faders will in fact cost just $149."
Fantastic news!
@@djkit what type of adapter would I need if u wanted to use in the USA? Not available yet here.
Costs actually $175 plus $60 shipping 😮😮😮 Available mid/end October
Hercules makes a upgrade fader kit with a metal/gold faceplate available now for $79 free shipping.

If you change the slip mats, you can back spin better
@@extramanagingchannel9789 Ok I heard the from a couple people any recommendations what Slipmats to get. Thanks
Has anyone tried to see if Algorridim DJ supports this controller?
That’s my same question. It’d be so awesome if it did support DJay Algorridim.
It doesn’t
Can I add a break button to one of those colorful buttons?
whats better than you and your boys, cracking open a fosters and checking out new gear in the rat cave
Who are you, and how do you know Ratzi from 2010?

Stop complaining dude that's why it's cheap. You can't have everything for that money
How do you move fast forward and back on a track?
Spin a vinyl 😂😂😂
How do I browse the library fast? The manual says to press Shift+turn the knob but nothing happens, it remains still
Problem now with those big old controllers is that you can do better with a simple app and an ipad
Without a controller?
@@cokomairena Just a simple one is enough
Is the platter on Denon sc live 4 motorised? If not, what is it and how does it feel on the Denon?
Do you have a video showing the differences between Serato Dj Lite vs Pro?
thoght i might get it. But only one laptop is bad for me. as i like to go back to back with other djs on one setup.
ITS REALLY AN IMPRESSIVE AND DECENT DJ CONTROLLER AND ITS EVEN BETTER THAN THE (REV 7) BUT THE problem is IT DOESN'T HAVE A GOOD CROSSFADER
Inno already made an upgraded one
have u played on it yet?
@@stanlandrum8491hercules makes an upgrade too

They coming out with replacement faders for this.
That would be banging if it actually happened!

@@apo5 Don't you play VDJ ?
Done it for me when he said belt drives 😂😂 wtf 2023 bro and I did learn on belt drives never should any one use belt drives again
It's only 7-inch vinyls and a platters are not heavy belt drive will not be a problem
Tried them and they got lots of torque, can't see any difference between them and reloop rp7000 mk2

Yes
Where is the instant doubles feature on here?
Hit load twice
Does it work with Djay apps?
No
Yes they updated the app
T7 or Rev 5?
Hmmm thats good Rev 5 i think
Depends on DJing style and your personal tastes.. There are pros and cons for both. For me Rev 5 would be the choice.
Lol.. It literally L👀KS like it will fall apart if you frowned at it for too long
Shit backspin!
I really don’t get why all people comment on this, backspins are ugly 😅
junk
