Terribly shy growing up. His brother was playing in the band and they were looking for a frontman.
He got up and tried. Picked up the microphone and became a different person. There needs to be a documentary of his glorious, beautiful tortured life. Legends are few, talent is sparse. This angelic soul touched earth briefly and stirred our hearts. In my mind he had 1000 times the talent and charisma of any singer alive at the time.
They don't call a microphone a Mike without a reason. Now you know why.

I was at the Hard Rock Live Concert where INXS was there and they were actually live. It was back in 1998. The scaffolds had people standing on them rockin-out to the music. It was electrifying. I'll miss Micheal Huttence...R.I.P.

Wow...not long before MH passed. His voice is superb as always but he doesn't look his earlier swag and stage energy. Seems medicated and aggitated

Yeah the drugs he was on would send most people to the brink. No sleep is brutal! I'm not sure if he killed himself on purpose, he may have done. But I think the autoerotica thing may have been true. Given the fact he was naked.

@@thelad789 PLEASE, say the medications that doctors had prescribed for him were not working well. You can tell he doesn't have as much stage energy. Do you know who Chris Cornel was? (I'm not comparing their music. So, save those comparisons.) They both suffered from depression & both were being medicated incorrectly. Add some alcohol to this & both of these men should have never been left alone. They were both suicidal. I don't know if Chris Cornell also had a Traumatic Brain Injury? But he very well could have gotten one along the way. All people with T.B.I are difficult to diagnose & treat. A medication that can save 1 person's life. Can drive another person to suicide. It's not an exact science.

frank murphy----That's because he was medicated and agitated!

    • @chriswright6245

He had a brain injury following an assault apparently and it affected his moods and senses of smell and taste. He ended up in a hole with narcotics and was taking a lot of Prozac apparently which can space people out. I think it was a legit suicide as he had a lot of issues sleeping and I read somewhere that a lot of people who get pushed to the brink have issues with sleep before. Very sad as he was apparently a nice bloke and one hell of a front man.

@@chriswright6245 It was in Amsterdam in 1992 that Michael Hutchence was sucker-punched by a taxi driver. He fell and his head hit the curb. It was later revealed that blow to the head caused internal brain damage.
