56:33 I don't know if it's on purpose or not, but the angle the mannequin is standing and the pose it's standing in makes me think of that infamous Bigfoot photo, so having the headlights of the ATV light it up made me giggle.
OH MY LORD OK 13:00 is one of the only pieces of footage on the internet of an extremely rare event. I would say Spoilers but its so ungodly rare and any footage of it is a blessing. There exists, to my knowledge, a single blurry photo of this event, and its exactly what it looks like, a UFO waaaaaay high up, pretty sure its even past the skybox. Fairly certain this is actually a reference to Vargskelethor Joel's alien encounter from when he was a kid. Very lucky find!
I'm pretty sure that's one of the sky plushies. normally you'd use the drone to get it. there's another one that you actually have to climb up the invisible wall to get, not sure if you need to be out of bounds or not. there's a lot more than 3 argemia plushies and 2 of them you literally have to perform sacrificial rituals to spawn them meaning it's impossible to get every argemia plush and the argemia Kerfus in a single playthrough. you have to collect them all, sacrifice them to summon white and black argemia, use the blue green and red argemia to make kerfus, then ship every rare plushie using the mailbox to consolodate all the timelines.

Some things I would like to say: Firstly: As other people have said, the extract at 49:59 is from the short horror story "I have no mouth and I must scream", made by Harlan Ellison. Secondly: I just LOVE how genuine you sound. From the tenses in your voice when you get paranoid to your little screams when something scares you suddenly, and even the reactions to certain things you see as the balls of light or the mannequin moving inside the blacking furnace, and honestly I just LOVE to see how organic all of it feels, and it shows that you really care about your videos and the game, and I am so glad you do because it is being such a ride to see you playing this.
You know, one thing I have in my headcannon is that the previous VotV playthroughs are lost accounts/videos from previous scientists that came before Dr. Kel, and the items, objects, decorations that have left behind slowly rotted away and became "trash" because they've mysteriously disappeared for many months and took a while before they are eventually replaced by a new scientist. So, if you finished season 3 and made another season like season 4, season 3 will become some sort of "lost footage" from the last scientist.
possibly some paranormal effects for that rotting too? (couldn't imagine a kerfus reducing to a pile after just half a year, unless Bao is really cheaping out on the materials lol) personal theory like this: Dunkeltaler forest gives people Deja Vu. the player's IRL knowledge and every old version/playthrough translates over to Kel by being vague dream-like memories. Sometimes he sees crystal-clear visions for the specifics of an ancient ritual, other times he barely knows the layout of the base.
I actually wish the game had a proper mode like this where you can start a new game off an old save, and before starting the new game it looks through the old save and converts most of your original stuff into garbage-ized versions that are worthless and have to be cleaned out. Maybe a few old papers that you wrote on could be left behind.
What I love about VOTV is that actually no 2 playthroughs of it will be exactly the same. For example some people won't have any events happen for a long time and other people will have an event happen on every day of the first week. And besides that there is exploring or cleaning trash, everyone plays this game a little bit differently. Also people either play this more seriously or more like a meme game
I know that personally, played since around the time it came out, probably like 5-6 full playtrhoughs and all of them have been different, i've only rescently (like the last week) encountered things that were in the game since 2022!
Odly enough, this game would be like my dream job, running a set of servers, searching the stars, and even first contact. It's hard to believe there's nothing out there in space but it is more believable to understand how big the universe is, meaning faster than light speed travel would determine first contact.
I'm so happy this is back. I only discovered it a few months ago and it's been my comfort series ever since then. I binged through every episode and was so happy when season 3 started.
29:50 absolutely this. if the light hits just right in the morning the vibe can be absolutely chilling. its a middle ground between night and day, the transition between the dark blanket of the unknown of the night into the safety of the light the day
I love the aesthetic of dusk just right after the sun sets. Sky is this dull grey while everything around you is this deep shade of navy. Only other color is the gold from the streetlights
I've never seen the pink wisps stick around for so long... You got quite lucky! Most of the time they tend to disappear very fast for people. Also, in the coming videos, you might encounter a problem that the "Help" menu can solve.
Goodness, imagine trying to scare someone by barging into the same room as them, only to knock the door off its hinges and fatally splatter the dude against the wall. Knowing what I know about the entity, it must’ve gotten into SO much trouble!
Those purple things were wisps and not only type that existed. There are multiple color variations of wisps that each one has a unique quirk about it.For example, if one were to encounter a white wisp it would cause reality would collapse. I'm pretty sure that the purple ones are friendly.Wisps are also rare things to encounter.

We will be watching with great anticipation.
I think that player impact damage should stay off. My reason is that it is possible that there is a chance of getting soft locked when the invisible aliens are hunting you, and the only way to make them go away is to take impact damage.
51:07 That is a snippet from "I have no mouth and I must scream" and is actually part of the ending monologue that contains the titular phrase: "Inwardly: alone. Here. Living under the land, under the sea, in the belly of AM, whom we created because our time was badly spent and we must have known unconsciously that he could do it better. At least the four of them are safe at last. AM will be all the madder for that. It makes me a little happier. And yet... AM has won, simply... he has taken his revenge... I have no mouth. And I must scream.”

I think this game makes mornings feel relieving and evenings forboding just by the soundtrack. The ambience for the evening are subtle droning chords and a distorted chime effect. Imlying that darkness is about to fall over the landscape. The theme for mornings are made of ethereal chords which makes you feel that safety is ahead and the world comes to life again. Fun fact: You can somethat achieve the chime effect in the ambience of the evenings by slowing down white noise without shifting the pitch
"I sit in the skies but I am not freindly with you and the others I will burn you out of your hive and my steel casing will protect me from anything.....but my fuel tanks are exposed
It looks like the game decided he was looking towards the door and spawned this black thing. When slowed down, you can see it appearing roughly in the middle of the screen from the back. Even though it's a bug, the dev should add more events like this to the game. The shadow slipping past is a true classic and worked for me at 500℅.
Figuring out that furnace is a good idea, you'll need the fuel. I don't want to give too much away, so I'll just say I'm worried. I did learn something a bit useful about the garbage piles, maybe? I think you can make different kinds of scrap if you shovel the different types of garbage piles, or you can like... make things that can be made into scrap, maybe. I haven't tried it yet personally. The bottle (glass one) will act empty, but it won't actually be empty unless you turn it upside down! Then the gas should work.
This is the best of creepy-comfy, and some of the best stuff I've seen on this channel. I'd love to see this game as an ongoing thing. It's just damn cosy
Fun little fact, the excerpt from the book you found is most of the last paragraph from the book I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream. Whatever significance that has, one can only guess; but as someone who has read the book, it’s likely not anything near pleasant…
11:00 No clue why I was thinking I was about to see the circus act where the people drive the dirt bikes around the cage. Was waiting for you to start doing loops around the edges

Hmm, for the "forgetting what you did last week", what about ending each session off with using a paper to write a note to yourself so you can read it at the start of the next session!
I would definitely keep impact damage on. Since the update, I haven't had many bugs with it, and it's important to keep the threats of the game scary, imo
I think that at 20:14 the visualization is actually a picture of the front door taken from the tree or close by the tree, you can kinda see the railings and corner post (center, middle), the stairs (left side), and the door (right of the “corner post”) I may just be seeing things though.

RIDDLE TIME!!! To solve this riddle, you must arrange, two items together, though they may seem strange. A striped friend, small and refined, and five packs of a habit, carefully aligned. On the table they must lie, together they reveal why.
This is such a cool game. Subtle horror elements and strange goings on. I love your series of it.. it prompted me to get the game and donate. A few days in though my in game computer caught a virus which shutdown roughly a quarter of the servers and several satellite dishes as well as the power for the base. Coupled with my characters nightmares and lack of sleep it made the next couple of days hectic to say the least as I struggled to get everything operational once more. What strikes me is that events don't seem to play out exactly as in your videos even if the long term story is the same. I wish you were on the end of a telephone in the game able to assist lol when my character finally managed to sleep after the chaos I felt equally as exhausted myself.
Leave Physics Damage switched off, as this could result in too many unintentional deaths. By ragdolling and any props touching you... Thank you for the extremly cool series
something wicke-very nice and friendly may appear at the danger forest/fenced off area with the house that has to be haunted if you are there between 0:00 and 1:00. it's not SPECIFICALLY something green. also, something special may appear if you are at foxtrot at 3:33 around the base of the satellite!! edit: the Wicked only spawns if you have banished the green [REDACTED]
Have we ever thought about why this vast Natural Area is devoid of life? Now, I know there might be an obvious answer with the Development, but I believe a Lore Explanation makes a lot of sense seeing as you're surrounded by bones, chaos, weirdness, cults and death.

the player's IRL knowledge and every old version/playthrough translates over to Kel by being vague dream-like memories. Sometimes he sees crystal-clear visions for the specifics of an ancient ritual, other times he barely knows the layout of the base.
@@sterpogamer7958 good theory
I actually wish the game had a proper mode like this where you can start a new game off an old save, and before starting the new game it looks through the old save and converts most of your original stuff into garbage-ized versions that are worthless and have to be cleaned out.
Maybe a few old papers that you wrote on could be left behind.
@SkeleTonHammer
Like a New game +
What I love about VOTV is that actually no 2 playthroughs of it will be exactly the same. For example some people won't have any events happen for a long time and other people will have an event happen on every day of the first week. And besides that there is exploring or cleaning trash, everyone plays this game a little bit differently.
Also people either play this more seriously or more like a meme game
I know that personally, played since around the time it came out, probably like 5-6 full playtrhoughs and all of them have been different, i've only rescently (like the last week) encountered things that were in the game since 2022!
Keep your Skulls in the emergency shower zone for a Big Darwin Surprise!!!!
Odly enough, this game would be like my dream job, running a set of servers, searching the stars, and even first contact. It's hard to believe there's nothing out there in space but it is more believable to understand how big the universe is, meaning faster than light speed travel would determine first contact.
The voices are back and I love it
I'm so happy this is back. I only discovered it a few months ago and it's been my comfort series ever since then. I binged through every episode and was so happy when season 3 started.
29:50 absolutely this. if the light hits just right in the morning the vibe can be absolutely chilling. its a middle ground between night and day, the transition between the dark blanket of the unknown of the night into the safety of the light the day
With the underlying dread that the danger in the dark isn't gone quite yet.
Thank you for uploading this, it is one of if not my favourite series on this channel, and I really needed this today :’)
About time we get a working shower to regenerate "Sleep" by spending dunno... 20-30 minutes with speed up game time in it.
Shamee’s Entity Log Report V3-1:
Doctor Librarian’s footage has arrived. Copying footage.
Processing footage… excuse me please.
Cam Footage processed… targeting entities.
All entities marked.
Entity 1 - Dark Orb or Dust?
Lifeform Class: Neutral
Doctor Librarian please keep an eye on that orb near the tower. So far here at headquarters there is no known information on it. For now it will be classed as neutral.
Entity 2 - Arirals a foot!
Lifeform Class: Neutral
Upon arrival at a new site Doctor Librarian was attacked upon entrance of the main building. Doctor Librarian attempted to defend himself with a door, but the entity used it against him. Footage was scrambled and Librarian was seamlessly back at base.
A second attempt took place and results differed from the first. The entity used Librarians means of defense (his crowbar) against him comically yeeting his crowbar at him and then waiting for him to get up to do it once more before pushing him and running away.
Entity definitely has high intelligence. Using tools and a cloaking device. It’s hiding something. Stay sharp Doctor Librarian.
Entity 3 - The Mannequins
Lifeform Class: Passive
After burning Mannequins down in the basement Doctor Librarian has experienced multiple lifeform pings. The Mannequins are back… Dr Librarian you know what to do. Please see to it that Officer Melvin is secured in his office.
Entity 4 - The Wisps
Lifeform Class: Altered
Doctor Librarian has came across his “first” little light. We’ve seen them before, but now upon region changes 9 different variations have been spotted.
Wisp 1/9 - Pinkie:
This one is a Pink Wisp. They are shy and friendly. They will keep their distance when approached.
Wisp 2/9 - Unknown:
Wisp 3/9 - Unknown:
Wisp 4/9 - Unknown:
Wisp 5/9 - Unknown:
Wisp 6/9 - Unknown:
Wisp 7/9 - Unknown:
Wisp 8/9 - Unknown:
*FILES FOR WISP 9 ARE CLASSIFIED! RESEARCHER CLEARANCE LVL 2 AND BELOW NEEDED! NEW RESEARCHERS DISCRETION IS ADVISED (Spoilers for the new season 3 viewers)*
Wisp 9/9 - Awoken:
Encountered during the previous Obelisk Events the Yellow Wisp patrol the region looking to kill anything moving. DO NOT APPROACH. Upon approach yellow tendrils will appear from within the glow piercing the victims body. It WILL rip you limb from limb. Victim will be kept alive during mutilation. AGAIN STEER CLEAR.
Careful Doctor Librarian not all Wisp are friendly 7 more to go and those 7 aren’t as friendly Pinkie.
Entity 5 - The Shadows are alive.
Lifeform Class: Altered
Doctor Librarian MULTIPLE shadow figures have been seen moving in your area. What you experienced at your desk was one of them. Funnily enough you encountered a “friendly” shadow… ahem. Moving on.
That is all for now Doctor Librarian. The Researchers back at home base are loving it. Keep us in the loop. We will be watching with great anticipation.
I think that player impact damage should stay off. My reason is that it is possible that there is a chance of getting soft locked when the invisible aliens are hunting you, and the only way to make them go away is to take impact damage.
This. If an entity is designed to kill you, it won’t rely on physics damage, it will just straight-up kill you. Physics damage is still a WIP anyway.
51:07 That is a snippet from "I have no mouth and I must scream" and is actually part of the ending monologue that contains the titular phrase:
"Inwardly: alone.
I swear every time I watch a video I have to wait before liking it because an ad plays and I don't want youtube to think I liked an ad.
To clarify, I love most content by this channel and instinctively like.
@@SoulessPurpleFire waiting to like a video isn't such a bad idea anyway, giving each video its own chance to win you over instead of saving them for your favorite channels can help you clarify what you do and don't like.

1:08:10 Coolest scare I’ve literally ever seen in any game
What was it?
@@VoidGecko most likely a shadow. I managed to film it once. It comes at you from the entrence towards you and that's it. No sound or anything. Unless this was a completely different event.
@@oBlemo I think I prefer the perspective he got on it, it reminds me of some of those old ghost videos, where the shadow figure moves and forms and so many unnatural ways. I feel like a lot of games tend to overuse the humanoid shape. I feel like something almost human, but bending, contorting, shrinking and growing in several different ways, is much more of a terrifying thought to me
honestly, Whiskey is the most beautiful radar to be at in the morning. if I'm there in the morning, I will stop and just stare out over the trees watching the sunrise. every, single, time
Ok, i think more and more that the Advanced Learning game has something to do with Votv lore. I think the advanced learning base may be underneath votv
I think you should put impact damage back on, just because i'm sure there are things that are supposed to kill you in game but you might survive them without doing any trial/error if your immortal
@@storytimewiththecrimsondm1318 you arent immortal, everything else (except objects thrown by our space friends) can still damage you. just falls/ragdoll damage is removed
a VERY good idea with NO consequences would be to leave all skulls, spines, and bones you find in the emergency shower in the main room. noooothing bad will happen. not at all. ...
Man, the whole place's gonna smell like cold bone broth. I don't like that idea.
@@DinnerForkTongue Like everywhere else in Alpha Base, the cistern is full of dead bodies, so the pool is already teeming with dead body bacteria.
school just started again and i come home to a new voices of the void to relax :D
36:30 I can't be sure, but that image seems to strongly resemble a Mandala as far as I can tell. A particularly abstract one, but I can't help but see it there.
I've watched so many people go thru that upper floor visitation because the jump scare is funny but yours is the first time I've ever seen anyone die lol.
the big chunks of coal give a lot of fuel but they take some extra time to burn
A remote controlled "Mars" Rover would be cool, exploring the map from the comfort of your base while a bad sun event or so is happening
It's been a while since I played it but from what you said, you might be interested in the game Scavenger SV-4
You may enjoy playing Cave Crawler.
1:08:11 WHY IS NO ONE ELSE TALKING ABOUT WTF THIS IS
Yeah, that freaked me out. Wtf was that
YES
It looks like the game decided he was looking towards the door and spawned this black thing. When slowed down, you can see it appearing roughly in the middle of the screen from the back. Even though it's a bug, the dev should add more events like this to the game. The shadow slipping past is a true classic and worked for me at 500℅.
@@PODbot2.5 it honestly doesnt look like a bug at all feel it was intentional it looked like someones shadow running by
To make molotow you need more gasoline, probably 15
you should see what happens if you keep your skulls in the emergency shower

Figuring out that furnace is a good idea, you'll need the fuel. I don't want to give too much away, so I'll just say I'm worried.
I did learn something a bit useful about the garbage piles, maybe? I think you can make different kinds of scrap if you shovel the different types of garbage piles, or you can like... make things that can be made into scrap, maybe. I haven't tried it yet personally.
The bottle (glass one) will act empty, but it won't actually be empty unless you turn it upside down! Then the gas should work.
I'd imagine the fast-moving yellow planet you spotted after the moon was venus.
Yeah agree, that was Venus
the great soft jelly thing text was an excerpt from i have no mouth and i must scream btw
This is the best of creepy-comfy, and some of the best stuff I've seen on this channel. I'd love to see this game as an ongoing thing. It's just damn cosy
Oh goodness I was having such a bad day and now this? Bless you Librarian
The shower may not give you money, but the toilet and sink do
Fun little fact, the excerpt from the book you found is most of the last paragraph from the book I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream. Whatever significance that has, one can only guess; but as someone who has read the book, it’s likely not anything near pleasant…
11:00 No clue why I was thinking I was about to see the circus act where the people drive the dirt bikes around the cage. Was waiting for you to start doing loops around the edges
With 2 full frames, I don't even have to work anymore. Dr. Bao is probably PISSED. All I do now is go squatchin' and watch 80s horror movies in the break room eating shrimp pizza and coffee.
43:08 ohhh the great soft jelly thing was NOT happy... my man got the beat up of the century... home invading is no joke huh.
It's crazy how he got close to those wisps around the same time I did, and now I know what the purple wisps do.
And its weird.
Hmm, for the "forgetting what you did last week", what about ending each session off with using a paper to write a note to yourself so you can read it at the start of the next session!

I just comment for the algorithm usually. Not this time, I love voices of the void.
I would definitely keep impact damage on. Since the update, I haven't had many bugs with it, and it's important to keep the threats of the game scary, imo
Can't wait to see Mr candle head's reaction the more creepy events, and him being able to marry Omega Kerfur.
I think that at 20:14 the visualization is actually a picture of the front door taken from the tree or close by the tree, you can kinda see the railings and corner post (center, middle), the stairs (left side), and the door (right of the “corner post”) I may just be seeing things though.
To explain the Molotov. You can’t drink the beers, you need to hold a flail the, to empty them
Not flail, just turn them upside down.

To solve this riddle, you must arrange, two items together, though they may seem strange.
A striped friend, small and refined, and five packs of a habit, carefully aligned.
On the table they must lie, together they reveal why.
18:20 it's very nice to see cringecomp's image finally got updated
Perfect timing for a sick day
This is such a cool game.
YAAAAAAAAAY!
Ngl these videos make my days 30x better
a way to handle the physics damage is leave it on and only if it keeps killing you while your trying to do an event then turn it off for said event

something wicke-very nice and friendly may appear at the danger forest/fenced off area with the house that has to be haunted if you are there between 0:00 and 1:00. it's not SPECIFICALLY something green.
also, something special may appear if you are at foxtrot at 3:33 around the base of the satellite!!
edit: the Wicked only spawns if you have banished the green [REDACTED]
14:36 you need to clean the toilet, and the sink (while on) to call that an "advanced" cleaning job.

also try and burn their stands that may make them go away from what ive heard

The best part of voices of the void is that it would 1000% be possible to fully recreate it inside of skyrims engine
That's an odd remark to say, love it
The note is from "I have no mouth and i must scream"
Have we ever thought about why this vast Natural Area is devoid of life? Now, I know there might be an obvious answer with the Development, but I believe a Lore Explanation makes a lot of sense seeing as you're surrounded by bones, chaos, weirdness, cults and death.
