@Espartanica it's both. High FOV means the areas that are normally not in view get loaded as LOD. It's weird that it even renders at all though

I can confirm I saw this multiple times before
Here are some things I'll say without spoiling much
1. collect skulls and keep them wet in the base
2.Play the game for 4 hours straight for a surprise
3. Little lore tidbit, the "deer" skull isn't a wendigo skull it's the skull of Furfur, a Earl of Hell (yes, really look it up)
4. Stone Cabin and Green Hellfire, restricted from prying eyes, find them
5. Find the sealed off hole, there will be a note, read it
6. Sleep after burning the Furfur skull for surprise :)
This is all for now, hopefully i didn't spoil anything
other secrets:

Pretty sure it's reducing your max health, counting as VERY minor damage, hence the vignette appearing for a split second. This also explains why the cancer pills restore max HP.

three things of note here...
1. to make Molotov cocktails you have to grab a gas can filled with gas, hold it over an empty bottle, then have the gas filled bottle and a paper on the workbench in order to make the Molotov cocktail. they can be handy weapons against threats and other such dangers but many are fire resistant :)
2. there is an event that can be missed involving the og kurfur. it will involve the omega kurfur but only after the og kurfur gets his event. if you want the kurfur event you need to buy another kurfur og. you will know when the og kurfur event happens :)
3. you make the best content and I can't wait to Consume more :) :) :)
it did happend to players who didn't even have kerfur yet, haunted kerfur event only marks the place where the new event will happen but the event will happen anyways (also it sometimes doesn't even mark the correct spot)

Ok, but the help button is actually really helpful in a lot of ways. It explains any technicality of the game and is quite interesting to read. I think I learnt a few mechanics just from that menu
one of my friends told me if you leave 1 shrimp pack and some skulls in the shower and wait for a while theres a chance you can get a new plush apparently
im pretty sure your thinking of the cyan agemia plush which can be summoned by placing 12 shrimp packs in the shower and blowing them up (OOORR that there is a new plushie you can get from that, dunno)

@@admiralwraith7868 yeah, i think it was in 0.6 (def 0.7) but now theres a crosshair to make it somewhat intuitive. I don't know if you need to hold or tap when you are in the air but any combination seems to let you vault/climb onto things

Pretty neat game, you two should get the Lambert plushie in VotV, it is very easy and straightforward, 100% both of you would have -100% competence of getting it, I believe in you two :)

I'm gonna finally be turning on this game for myself come the 25th, and playing it in a VC where a bunch of my friends are lined up to hang out. So It's gonna be fun, especially with this name I go by.
Essential tips for this update
-you should check out new crafting recipes for weapons and molotovs (they are actually *essential* for this update)
-You can shovel the piles of trash to reveal a trash gibs
-Keep and eye on the Kerfur Omega at all times a few new events now can actually destroy him to pieces and you will not be able to see him on the map
-Normal kerfur might get lost in the woods and EMF will not be able to find him
-if you plan to play for long time (4 hours+) remember to save frequently or you loose the progress
-A new item will be available in the store after an event
-Look for a helmet that will make you take less damage and not ragdoll out of the car (there are two on the entire map one is near a satellite and other is on the windmill thingies you cannot buy them)
-Check the water area there are some interesting things in it (Also you can fish stuff)
