Accepting a position never guarantees someone will be able to perform the position. If one accepts a position to be paid on their own performance, such as tips, they also have to accept if their performance is reflected in lack of tips compared to others in the same restaurant/business doing the same job. If they are unable to figure out "How to Serve" then they must accept that job is not for them... at least at that point in their life. In my opinion, it does not mean they should be allowed to demand to be paid more by a business simply because they lack in their own performance.
Tipped employees deserve: Minimum Wage just like everyone Else + Tips. The reason for this is because as a Waiter in the past, dealing with customers is a continuously challenging endeavor. I would rather do a McDonald's minimum wage than a waiter with sub minimum wage rate. The hassle of being a waiter is too much compared with a McJob. As for Restaurant owners, prices need to go up on food menu and cut extra staff as needed. You cannot allow a Restaurant to mess with the tips.
Okay so why did you choose being a waiter if you would rather have a "mcjob". Waiters don't deserve to get paid twice because they have to talk to customers just as cashiers don't get tips. Waitresses are the most entitled/whiney profession in America.
C'mon people. How is the Government supposed to send money to the Ukraine if they can't take some of your TIPS. Not to mention those Wine and Cheese Hob Nobbing Parties in the Hamptons? For heavens sake have a HEART.
Under trump I made a lot of money being a waiter. I don't know what that lying woman is talking about
