Translation and original audio clash so badly at times it's almost unbearable to try to keep listening, a great pity because it's fascinating, important history. You can find this documentary on other channels without the overlapping languages which is what I eventually decided to do.
One word: subtitles!
Not to make fun, but I see the battle of Kursk in my yard every day. I have 2 German Shepherds and a Siberian husky that play "fur combat".
It was an informative and wonderful historical coverage video about German Citadel operations ( infamous kursk) operations where stubborn, and enormous reserves wrote the victory ✌️ for Soviets...thanks
You can only imagine how frustrated Guderian felt trying to talk Hitler out Operation Citidel. Obviously the Russians were building a Pak Front while Hitler dithered around waiting for more Panther panzer productions. Guderian knew the Werhmacht needed every tank & gun in defence to bleed Russia white until circumstances changed hopefully in the future. But the Panzerwaffe would be burnt out to the core after this battle as the panzer schools instructors were deployed for this battle.
Great documentary, but like many of the others in this series, the sound is weird.

The scene in with the T34 showed the side army when trying to shoo the stug , was just surprising to me this T34 crew just put their own lives at risk when they could've just tried to fire back or even shoot the track or just try to immobilize the enemy tank , they showed their side armor , just because 2 shells bounce off your tank doesn't mean your invincible.
the audio is messed up. the interpreter for the russin speaking person is too quiet to hear what is being said

Exactly! This is where the krauts lost the battle. These re-enactments are pretty amateurish, e.g. the vehicles and aircraft don't always match the narrative, signifying less than stellar technical staff.

This is really badly made. For all the budget it probably had, you’d think they’d get the sound right. One person UA-cam channels making homemade documentaries are so much better! Finally the history discovery channels will get what they’ve long deserved, to disappear because they’re f-ing garbage
