Got this back when it was released and it has always been the best piece of Hot Toys engineering in my collection. Even friends who have no idea what Hot Toys are, see this T-800 and overlook the dozens of amazing HotToys Iron Man figures I have.

I bought this figure brand new many years ago and still own it. To date it is the most troublesome of all my figures. The figure arrived with the neck piece mis-aligned with the head. You can actually see that in this video also as the head is looking to our left, while the neck is dead straight. Ideally both should be dead straight. The stand is terrible as it is extremely un-even and makes placing the heavy figure a nightmare and prone to falling. What's worse is the plastic parts(it's not 100% diecast) are extremely cheap and fragile. One of the piston pieces on the back of the upper-part of the leg broke in half over time. Lucky it was an easy fix. The entire figure just feels very loose and you worry about it slipping off the stand on it's own. I paid about $400USD for the figure brand new back in the day. There's NO WAY I would pay more than that for it now. Let alone the insane prices they are going for nowadays. If they ever re-issue it, they better fix up the major issues with the figure.
Now when I have the figure I can tell that this version is more close to the endo from T2 and the first edition wich Hot Toys says is the T2 version is more closely to the T1 with all the flaws of the real prop from the movie. And also the plasma rifle was shown at the opening of T2 ...
I too own this guy. My two issues are as follows: When they made this, they did not take accurate proportional measurements of his hands and head. His hands are way too big for his body and his head is on the small side. Otherwise, very cool piece.
Hi Justin I was lucky enough to pick the deluxe version of this amazing breath taking pride of any Hot Toys collection figure in Hong Kong four years ago for £300, I'm in Hong Kong now ( toy shopping 😁 ) I was hoping to get a second quarter scale T800 but the price has gone through the roof 😱 My only negative with this figure ( and it's only something a geek like me would spot ) the collar bone pistons are back to front ! 99% movie perfection 😎

Bought mine when originally released. Never came with the metal lines behind the lower jaw. Just double checked my box after all these years and nope lol. Must have been a QC issue. Where can I get spare parts?
One of the reason is Arnold himself he has a massive body so the flesh also would be massive making the Arnold enter bay figure more sense why it looks taller than the normal endoskeleton
Why does is the T-800 endoskeleton super shiny but the T-700 endoskeleton is dirty and non shiny and also why are they both the same endoskeleton model?
are they not all terminator T 800 the same skeleton regardless what movie it play on ? or, they are all the same T 800 regardless the movie they play . . good video , must have T800.

Mine came with a loose right arm he can't hold his weapon. I still love it. Over the years though his fingers are weird because of the wire.
