Samiran is a Mumbaiite, alumnus of Podar College and Mumbai University. After brief roles at IRIS and TCS, he spent a long time at IBM, advancing from Management Consultant to Sales Leader to Program Manager to handling entire Sales IT operations. He later moved to D&B and Microsoft spending a year in between at the flagship Aadhaar initiative of GOI.
