Oh that fast scratching on the ice sounded good, but you're rings sounded best. Would have enjoyed hearing more metal on ice sounds. The sounds of you moving up and down, back and forth was very relaxing; didn't matter if it was hands or ice-on-ice.
i don't know if this is just me but ice noises make me cringe like i have to cover my ears (and i know someone will say "well just don't watch it then" and i'm not but i just find it weird that the sound makes me wanna clench my jaw) Like when i see people bite into a popsicle the noise of them biting into it makes me cringe, any ice scraping sounds like nails on a chalk board but when i tell people they think i'm weird and it's like no one else has this problem but me, and like it's bad because sometimes i just wanna cry from the noise of people biting into ice or popsicle or anything like that. 🤷🏽♀️
Huh! Interesting noise aversion. My bff hates the sound of crunching snow. Walking or driving over newly fallen snow makes her grind her teeth at the crunching sound.
No, you are totally normal! Everyone has something that irritates them, it's just whether or not they confess the agitation. For me I'm not good with people eating crisps, especially in a situation where you are a sitting target. It's beyond our control so no need to fight it, just avoid it wherever possible.
I find these sounds relaxing, but when people bite ice cream and ice cubes the teeth against the ice makes my whole body hurt. It’s so disturbing to me. I feel the same about chalk board. I always cringe when something touches the chalk board we have in chemistry and biology. It’s horrible.
