As a low sec enjoyer, this kind of awareness is great. Get more people realizing it's not scary, completely underutilized, and you get into some fun good natured shooting matches you don't get in highsec where the only option is a gank. Concord is why we can't have nice things.
Just getting back to the game after many years of winning Eve. Your videos have been a big part of my motivation to hop back in J-space for some solo nomad fun.
Love that. Lowsec is such an excellent way to access jspace. Having full access to lowsec is such a liberating feeling as a nomad. Best of luck on your adventures.
DRAMA FOLLOWUP: The dastardly pirate backpedaled from a steadfast "I'm not even trying to lock you" to a questionable "well, actually I was trying to lock you, you just weren't on my overview so I was slow at it" after I contacted them back. At least I think that's what they were saying. Truly one of the most EVE players of all time. I hope they're well.
I've had blue pilots that I should have taken off blue status years ago. They wont show up on my Overview... So I have to click in space to lock them. I am one of the Pilots in Rancer. I wasn't there when you went through but I know what is up. I wish I had been there. A check on Zkill of Rancer .will show how many people die, and some make it through. That is EVE.
Currently using your bottles setup with Great Success ™, Thank you again for the great content! Easy to follow, pleasant voice, and best of all CORRECT!
Some of the best lessons I've learned early on came from people I was nice to in LS. Usually after losing a ship to them. Exceptions to this exist, as you demonstrated here, but they're mostly trying to have fun too.
@@chloroken No, not at all. Just pointing out that in my experience a surprising number of people in LS will kill you, then happily tell you how they did it if you give them a GF and ask for advice. Null can be the same way. I once led an experimental needlejack fleet of BattleVentures, and after we were all gloriously vanquished with GFs all around, one of the dudes we attacked sent me a nice email and 100 mill ISK to thank us for the entertainment.
Think this is one of the better EVE videos I have watched in a while. -Its comprehensive, with out being to long - It has many graphics to help the view - Its both personal and current , not just a huge big picture. GG as always.
Two things regarding ultralockers: First, ultralockers are rare enough that if you discover one operating in whatever space you're commonly flying in, you can just write down their name and check local with a scout before passing through with your taxi. If they're in local, come back later or another day. Second, if you need to move a bunch of pods through a system with an ultralocker and you don't care about losing one pilot, you can jump them all in at the same time and fleet warp to the next system. Even with 2 instawarpers vs 2 ultralockers, it's very difficult for the ultralockers to coordinate who is tackling who within the 1 second they have to act, so usually they end up dogpiling onto whichever pilot is unlucky enough to be on the top of the overview.
Hi Darkness, thanks for the insight. I was tempted to mention your second tactic, was going to call it overloading. That it requires alts put it a bit out of the scope of this video though. However I could have thrown it in, along with lancers.
nothing to worry about outing the poor pirate, the lack of attention span will make sure he won;t getting that deep into the video ;) great content, as usual!
Just a note, in Tama they use a lancer dread to hit the gate as you come out of warp in expensive things. Jump freighter mainly. By the time the rebuff wears off you will be dead or 50km off the gate from panther bumps
Yep, he runs a rolled faction scram and disruptor, already showed me earlier. Good guess though. I think you can also see the icon pop up even when stabbed, it just won't work.
NOOO, how am i to get noobs in lowsec now that the info the dodge them is out 😢 Also, forgot about aoe camps that arent smartbombs, edencom camp is good on wormholes to insta kill no lock needed vs. Shuttles and frigs. Not sure how to dodge that one though.
Mentioned a few times but Lances are outside the scope of the video since they're basically anti JF or function identical to Smartbombs for subcaps etc. I can imagine going back and at least touching on some of these topics. But I did say there are "multiple ways" to be attacked mid warp. C: thanks for the comment
@chloroken oh yeah, I dont mean Lance's though I'm talking having 2 stormbringers or thunderchilds on a wormhole, target each other and as soon as someone shows then you blast yourself but the aoe will catch whatever frig or shuttle comes through a wormhole. And for maximum safety just do it on a highsec hole so you can bail anytime :)
not even a mention of lance camps? When I first fell prey to a lance I was really really confused...When I asked the player what happened, they just trolled me into thinking it's a bug in the game (really funny dude)
He either lied and tried to ultralock you, or he genuinely didn't have you on overview because he likes you and set you blue. However the later would mean he is scripting so I'm not sure what he wants to be known as
He showed me a video of him with me set to blue and him manually clicking, which makes total sense. However, dudeman denied even trying to LOCK me multiple times, and only tried to make sense of it later. Super weird stuff. Thanks for the insight, you're right about the blue, it just doesn't save him here. :)

Lowsec welcomes all who welcome death. :K
so much great content from you lately !!! Much better than once every few months . THIS IS THE WAY !
Heck yeah! If you keep watching and saying nice things, I'll keep your notifications full.

chlorokenning.
Lmao gave em the ole Lor-u 1-2

yes, gate camp representation has been due for a while
It's a love-hate relationship. :D
Ah, the most sane Rancer interaction.
I admit some fault. I did some goading. Alas, I couldn't keep up.

Appreciate ya. The dude showed up and wrote a book already. Gave him the classic "lmao." Glad you enjoyed the essay, more to come.
Triggered because you wrote Sujarento up top when it's to the "south"
Is it DOTLAN south or in game map south? Good catch, sorry about that. Not a Tama guy.
You never disappoint lol
Hold my beer
Also if you have friends, gate camp crashing is also fun and killmails. Spearfishing is a time.
Gate crashing rules.
@@chloroken Beware Industrial Cyno's attached to indi ships that don't die to fast ;)
Don’t forget lancer dreadnoughts. Them things is nasty in a gatecamp.

This essay was for subcaps. Lances are just Smartbombs in this scope.
Any chance Rancer Guy just wasn't using enough tackle to overcome your warp stab?

I know about Vortons and wormholes, how is that related to lowsec?!
@@chloroken well uhh, you got me there xD forgot the video was lowsec specifically and not just camps in general 😅
I love you buddy.
I'd hardly call any blops drop "massive". Scary and powerful, sure, maybe, depends. But they're far from massive.
You're so elite!

Lancers are more of a cap/freighter thing imo, outside the scope of this video. Where did you Dir and what ship were you flying?
