I really really have to give you a compliment, the patience that you have it caught my attention that I had to see the video three times. OK so thank you so much and God bless excellent work.P.S:)DO MORE😊
Thanks. It takes time but you’ll get it. I remember when I first started out I messed up a lot. It happens. It’s a part of the process. Just don’t give up. You’ll learn from any mistake you make. Happy crafting!
Thank you for this video, I watched till the end. I felt your pain when things didn't go completely to plan, here and there. It's happened to me many times. Was really helpful that you kept filming though, it's lovely to know I'm not alone. The tumbler turned out super cute I'm sure your daughter loved it ! Keep doing these fab videos please. Crafty Hugs x
Thank you so much for watching! It was a struggle but I like to show when things don’t go as planned since it was a part of my process. She loves the cup! I can’t wait to do more like it!!
You’re welcome! And thanks for watching! This was such a game changer for me & the laminate sheet did it for me. I’ve never tried UV DTF but this was really inexpensive as well. Let me know if you try it!
🥰 just subbed. So cute!! You did a beautiful job!! The holographic vinyl was the perfect touch!!! Thanks for this tutorial. I’m opening my own Etsy shop for custom glass tumblers and mugs!
@@MyKraftyLife thank you and thank you for responding. Is there a difference in quality between heat press mugs and adhesive vinyl? I’m trying to decide where to start.
I think the adhesive vinyl is a good place to start. You can still put vinyl on the mugs used for sublimation. They are just made for sublimation. There just may be a price difference. Just make sure your customers know they are hand wash only.
The overlapping of the heart was cute. I just started doing cricut projects, currently making a Winnie the Pooh but layered the first try was an outline
It’s been holding up okay. Some of the whiskers are starting to peel. I have been handwashing it. I would recommend using a design that does not have intricate parts.
LOVE THIS! Thank you for this tutorial! I’ve just barely dipped my toes into print then cut and didn’t think of creating a whole cup design with the holographic sticker paper! lol! Did you use strong grip transfer tape to apply it to the cup?
You’re welcome! I used printable vinyls and then I applied the holographic laminate sheet. I just used regular transfer tape and worked fine for me. Thanks for watching!
I did have to cut it twice to get it to cut with my cricut. My tip is when you cut it don’t unload it from your mat. Check and see if it cut through first. If it didn’t cut all the way through, cut again on the same setting or a try a different one to see if it that one works better. I hope this helps.
❤❤❤ I just purchased a Cricut mug press and haven’t been able to do any! Because, my Chromebook doesn’t pick it up. Bring that it doesn’t go into my Bluetooth 😢 I also tried on my iPhone and my Apple iPad. I have been going crazy on trying to find a way to activate it. I want to do those lovely clear plastic with my mugs, etc.. 😍😍😍
I hope you’re able to get it to work! I haven’t used the mug press by cricut so I’m not familiar with it so I hope it works out for you. I’ve heard their customer care is really helpful so I would reach out to them to find out which computers are compatible. This project would be perfect for a mug since you would print and cut until you get your mug press to work. Just remember to hand wash only. Thanks for watching!
This can last with hand washes only. But I would advise to not use a design that has intricate parts like the whiskers on the hello kitty. That is the only part this is now slightly lifting. The rest of it is fine.
I’ll have to check the design in design space. I did mention the design measurements in the video though. I’ll comment again when I’m able to get back to my computer
Thank you for responding. I did go back and rewatched the video and read the transcripts and I do see where you did measured but the problem I’m having is that at first you measured the hight at 5in but you didn’t measure the width. But then a bit further down the video when you went to cut the holographic sheet you somewhat measured the width but didn’t say what it was. So that is why I was asking because I have 2 16 oz glass cups and had trouble with the first one not having the right measurements
When you add that lamination vinyl, is it really waterproof then? I love how it comes out and I just wanna try it with my own desings... but i just have one normal inkjet printer...
The printable vinyl I used was already water proof. I just wanted to make it last longer. I used an inkjet printer for this. I just recommend that use don’t use an intricate design.
I would recommend cutting a design that does not have intricate parts. The whiskers did start to lift months later. However if you hand wash it should last a long time.
I’m curious what setting you to get the scan lines so far from the image. Any time I print and cut on vinyl the lines are so close to the image it’s impossible to use the holographic laminate sheets. If I do the cricut can’t read it.
it looks amazing! what size did you use to print ? I bought a svg from Etsy and printed on 9.33x5.1 and when the cricut maker cuts it it doesn't cut it center it's off centered but when I calibrate it's centered cricut even sent me a new machine and it's the same thing but my other stickers cut perfect 😢
My measurements were 9.38x4.47. If it’s not cutting it in the center you can move it before you print it and see if that helps. It’s the last screen you see with the registration marks. I don’t know if that’s the issue. If the other stickers are printing and cutting fine it could be something with that file. Just a guess. I hope this helps.
Hi there! Does it matter what type of printer or ink you use? Did you print the image on regular copy paper, and then place the vinyl holographic paper on top of the image? How did the cricuit know to cut out all of the little pieces? Newbie here?
Hi! You can use any printer for this. I used printable vinyl. I placed the holographic sheet on top of the printed image before I cut it. I used print then cut so cricut knows to cut the image. I also mentioned the print setting I used in the video. I don’t remember the exact ones I used. I linked the materials used in the description. I hope this helps.

You’re welcome! I’m glad this was helpful to you! Let me know if there are any other tutorials you would like to see!
Love it! And for those bubbles that gets in the laminate sheet, just stick a weeding or safety pin or needle in it and press out!❤
Thank you!! I appreciate the tip!
I was coming here to say this exact thing…works everytime and you can’t tell it’s been poked
I need to watch a few more times😅 but I really appreciate you taking the time out...I'm a newbie dk what I'm doing😅

Very nice & creative!!! Love the idea of printable vinyl instead of layering!!
Printable vinyl has become my new favorite!
I love how this turned out. Very cute. I know your daughter loved it.
Thank you! She loves it! It was supposed to be one of her gifts for her 15th birthday but I couldn’t hide it from her 😂. She’s nosey 😆.

Nice job mama. Thanks for sharing. Saved
Thank you so much!
Thank. you for sharing this!!! I am going to get these printable vinyl and laminate sheets.
Thanks for watching!
Such a great idea!!! I love the idea of printable vinyl. I think it takes too much time to do all the layers so I never tried.
I’m not a fan of layering so it makes a project that would normally have layering really easy.
OH MY!! Thank you so much for this easy step by step, never thought about Printable-- no more UV DTF for awhile!
You’re welcome! And thanks for watching! This was such a game changer for me & the laminate sheet did it for me. I’ve never tried UV DTF but this was really inexpensive as well. Let me know if you try it!

It looks really cute!

You did a great job! I can’t get my cricut to read the registration marks so far, but I’m going to keep trying.
Thanks! Did you put the laminate sheet over the registration mark? If so that may be the problem.
This turned out super cute! ❤
Thank you!
Wow, that's a great method, thank you!
Glad you like it!! Thanks for watching!
Very clever, enjoyed it🙂
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Adorable 😊
Thanks!

Thank you for the step by step. Those UV DTF are so difficult to work this.

I ordered those holographic sheets way last year. Couldn't figure out what to do with them until now. TFS

This is very nice. How does hold up after washing.
It’s been holding up okay. Some of the whiskers are starting to peel. I have been handwashing it. I would recommend using a design that does not have intricate parts.
❤ it, my coworker is a hello kitty fan!
Thanks!
😊 super cute!

Nicely done ❤
Thanks!
I love this!! Its beautifully ❤!
Thanks!
So amazing! Thank you for sharing 🤩
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
It's really cute! If you wanted to design the lid to match the cup, how would you do that?
I would recommend layering vinyl if you wanted to design the lid. But remember hand wash only.
Great video 😊

Look how beautifully it weeded, I was struggling today with my cricut making printable vinyl wraps😣 I couldn’t get the cut settings right🤦♀️
I did have to cut it twice to get it to cut with my cricut. My tip is when you cut it don’t unload it from your mat. Check and see if it cut through first. If it didn’t cut all the way through, cut again on the same setting or a try a different one to see if it that one works better. I hope this helps.

You have to use an actual PC in order to connect the mug press because you have to connect it to the PC via the USB cable
So cute!❤
Thank you!
Love!!!!! Question? What setting was used to just cut what u needed? I just got my cricut, and I'm a little lost.
Thank you for watching! I cut using the smart paper sticker cardstock setting.
😇🥰 I have been wanting to try this but was afraid it wouldn’t work Thank you I’m going to try it now!!!😇
I’m glad you found the video! Thanks for watching!
Great job!
Thank you!
Loved this thanks
Thank you!
You did a fantastic job 👍❤ and what type of stickers vinyl did you !and happy birthday little one 🎈🎉
Thank you! I used inkjet printable vinyl by Craftables. I have a link to it in the description.
Beautiful! What does the cup look like now after multiple washes?
It still looks good. Keep in mind it’s hand wash only.
I loved ❤your work but I want to know if this lasted on the cup with alot of washes??
This can last with hand washes only. But I would advise to not use a design that has intricate parts like the whiskers on the hello kitty. That is the only part this is now slightly lifting. The rest of it is fine.
Where to create or get these kind of beautiful images? ❤ thank you
Thanks for watching! I purchased this design from a seller on Etsy.
❤❤❤❤❤…. Can’t wait to see more
Thanks for watching!
Love the idea. Glad I saw your channel. how many washes can it withstand?
My daughter has been using it and hand washing it and it has been holding up. I wouldn’t keep it sitting in water. But it has been doing good so far.
I love this idea can’t wait to try it. This is so much easier than what I just did. What size cup are you using and what measurements is your design
I’ll have to check the design in design space. I did mention the design measurements in the video though. I’ll comment again when I’m able to get back to my computer

Love the way the cup came out looks really cute. I am going to try it. How does it do with washes ?
I haven’t washed it yet. It’s a gift for my daughter. As long as it’s hand washed it will hold up just fine.
❤ thanks for the idea!!!!
You’re welcome! And thanks for watching!

to get the bubble out of the center instead of re-peeling it. poke a lil hole in the bubble and it will pop
Thanks for the tip! I appreciate it. I will definitely do that next time! It will save me so much time!
What paper do you use to print the image ?
I used printable vinyl.
Cute!! ❤
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing! ❤
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
how long will this last and care instructions
I would recommend cutting a design that does not have intricate parts. The whiskers did start to lift months later. However if you hand wash it should last a long time.
To print these kinds of images can i use the Epson 15000 printer????
Hi! You don’t need a special printer for this project. I just used an inkjet printer.
❤❤❤❤❤ love it
Thank you!
Which paper did u used to print out the hello kitty on?
I used printable vinyl. It’s linked in the description of the video. 🙂
I’m curious what setting you to get the scan lines so far from the image. Any time I print and cut on vinyl the lines are so close to the image it’s impossible to use the holographic laminate sheets. If I do the cricut can’t read it.
I moved the image right before I printed it. I also cut the holographic sheet so it doesn’t cover the scan lines. I hope this helps.
What Pinter do you use to pint the pictures out on??
I use an inkjet printer. I think it’s an HP Office Jet 9015
What type of transfer tape did you use? The ones I’ve used always rips the color or the letters!
I use the Cricut brand right now.
i want to do this but won't the tranfer tape leave a sticky residue in the glass. i used the Frisco tape
Hello, the transfer tape should not leave any residue on the glass. If it does it’s probably too sticky.
What type of white paper is the design on
The design is on printable vinyl.
😍 CUTE!!!
Thanks!
Hello ,we can use any Printer type or specific?
Hi, you can use any printer for this project!
so cute😍
Thank you!

This might be a stupid question, but how does the printable vinyl stay stuck to the cup?
Not a stupid question at all. It’s adhesive vinyl, so it’s sticky. So it’s like vinyl that you can just print on.
Hi there! Does it matter what type of printer or ink you use? Did you print the image on regular copy paper, and then place the vinyl holographic paper on top of the image? How did the cricuit know to cut out all of the little pieces? Newbie here?
