@@TankGamingADHDYeah, I forgot about it until it was mentioned in one of Asia and BJ’s live streams when they were taking suggestions for us to vote on during the stream. When someone mentioned Better Call Saul, someone in chat said to watch “El Camino” first. So, I assume they will do a reaction to it based on Asia and BJ’s reaction as the last episode finished. At least, I hope they do.
One of my favorite parts of the last episode is @37:25 cuz of the different artistic storytellings/interpretations that exists within every aspect of filmmaking. Walt just gave Skylar a way out earlier with the lotto ticket and after saying his last goodbye you can see skylar(which is representative for his family cuz shes the mother) no longer be under his shadow literally and figuratively as you see her left woth a legal bargaining chip that exonerates her from her husbands actions
Better Call Saul show is also worth checking out. It's the backstory to how he became Saul Goodman... but it also completes his story by showing what became of him after the events of Breaking Bad.
Asia after the laser pointer scene: "Who was that?" BJ: "Some hired hitmen. He (Walter) knows some big-time criminals." Cut to: Skinny Pete and Badger. LMAO.
Such a great ending for the series. Everything gets addressed, and everyone gets their justice. The scene at the bar is just brilliant writing. Walter is at his limit, no more options, no more plotting, desperately trying to just get something to his family and when he gets rejected he gives up and finally moves to do what Saul advised him to from the start in order to benefit his family and save them from prosecution. Only to at the last moment be struck by his sense of pride in essence waking the beast for one last hurrah. You gotta remember, Walter is a Nobel Lauriet, whose ideas helped to found Greymatter, and from the onset he's had resentment towards them in regards to where he is in life compared to where he feels he should be. It was the inspiration for his breaking bad. He always said it was for his family, but the truth is it was always for his pride. Imagine what a man of his calculating mind and ruthless ambition might have accomplished on the side of good.
After the phone call with Walt Jr Walter completely gave up. Realized it was hopeless. Called the DEA and was ready to turn himself in. It was the TV interview with Gretchen and Elliot that lit a new fire in him.
NOT ONLY WAS THIS ONE OF THE BEST SERIES EVER ON TELEVISION BUT DEFINITELY THE BEST USE OF A SONG IN THE CLOSING CREDITS EVER!!! BABY BLUE WAS THE PERFECT CHOICE!!!!
At the cabin when the vacuum guy (shout out to Robert Forster!) said, if I say yes, would you believe me?, stuck with Walter and he came up with the scheme for Gretchen and Elliot.
If you look closely at the last take, Heisenberg dies in a box that simulates the periodic table of the intro, but before that it simulates a cross. Series creator Vince Gilligan is a master of symbolism
I have tried to watch so many reactors do "Breaking Bad" & never made it past 3 or 4 episodes. I loved being able to watch all 62 episodes with y'all through new eyes. Thank you!
When Walter flips the visor in the car and the keys fall down, you can see that the keychain has a white tag on the keyring from Narcotics Anonymous (drug recovery) that says "Just For Today", which is the tag they give someone who only has 24 hrs clean. The symbolism is rich here -- he was a drug kingpin helped by a drug recovery organization, he just needs 24 hours, etc etc
My wife and I binged all but the last 3 episodes of this series and then saw the last 3 in "real time". When talking to people who hadn't finished it, some said things like "oh, they probably didn't really end it. Leave unanswered questions, room for sequels", etc. No, I said. No loose ends. It's over.
Several months ago, I discovered 'first reactions' to songs and was hooked. About a month ago, I started watching 'first reactions' to movies that I have seen and loved. I watched many individuals and couples react and enjoyed them immensely. In that past few weeks, I only watch your reactions. You two are so genuine, and I get to 'relive' my favourite movies and tv shows through your eyes. Keep reacting! ... I love your videos!
I love how at the beginning of season 5 Walt told Saul "we're done when I say we're done" and at the end of the season Walt tries to say it again to Saul but can't even finish the sentence due to his deteriorating health.. it's the perfect way to show that Walt is no longer the king..
Asia was right. Walter called the DEA from the bar then left the handset dangling because he was going to wait for them and turn himself in, after the call with Junior didn't go how he expected. But then he saw Elliot and Gretchen saying what they said on TV, and that triggered him, so he changed his mind.
Actually, with the road that the story went down. Walts death was the only answer they had left. The captain with a sinking ship. It was up to him to set it right. Plus, the promotional poster that came out. Gave away that he was dying in the last episode. Instead of "whats my name". It said, "Remember my name." I think the ending should have been tweaked a little. I would have rewrote a few things differently. But still, it was as close to perfection as you can get. Uncompromising to the end. And it didn't rob you of anything except the money. The original idea for an ending they floated around was Walt taking revenge and jesse to already be in police custody, and Walt breaks him out and them both escaping. Vince Gilligan didn't want it to end with cops getting killed. Best show of all time.
I've watched every single one of these Breaking Bad reactions...took me about a month. Then right until the last minute of this episode I realized I wasn't even subscribed. 😅I am now, and I'll definitely be back. Y'all's presence is comforting.
@@Rand0mHero713It was mainly because it wasn't all that good in comparison, so the hype for it died down extremely fast and there wasn't a big demand for reactions for it.
One thing about this series that I hadn't noticed until it was pointed out to me is that Jesse was always being driven around after he met Walt. The rides to the desert, the rides with Mike - he was always a passenger in someone else's car. Except for two scenes (at least as far as I can remember). The go-kart track and his escape from the compound. I thought it was an interesting metaphor for control.
It was an absolute pleasure watching this series with you guys, I looked forward to your reactions every week, from the start of the show. Thanks for your efforts!
I agree that the writing stayed solid throughout the series. I live in Albuquerque, so it's an added treat to see some of the local sites in the show. There is a tour you can take here of some of the locations on the show, and you ride around in an RV like the one they cooked in.
Every few years I’ll introduce this series to a friend and will watch it in its entirety with them. This time around I had some feelings about watching “reactions” to it, but now, at the end, I’m in my feels about it like I am every other time, even though it’s been in clips. I feel like I’ve watched it with new friends.
5:25 I remember when watching this episode, I was thinking “Aw, who’s that guy?” Then, I remembered him in “Jackie Brown” as Max Cherry (Robert Forster).
When this series first aired, i was floored! My dad had health issues afterwards so he was bedridden. When they re-aired it, i pleaded to watch it, so he did. He got angry like us all waiting every week! He said it was the most amazing show/writing/acting and gave thx to me forcing him to watch it. He unfortunately passed before el camino and Better call Saul. Thx for the reactions....brings back memories discussing the show with him! He was a big movie buff. Try watching Vertigo! Omg! The most amazing movie from Hitchcock!
Glad we made it until the end. Possibly the best series of all time...thanks for sharing it with us. The Sopranos, The Shield, The Wire, Oz, Justified, Rome, Deadwood. Impossible to say what is number 1 but all are great suggestions for you if you haven't seen them.
This show was amazing from start to finish. The last 3-4 episodes were perfect. I'm not sure there has ever been a better run of episodes within a show in history. And El Camino was a great addition to the story. (I was nervous when they announced it as it would have been far easier to botch it and hurt Breaking Bad as a result). And Better Call Saul is almost just as good as Breaking Bad. Really an incredible universe
That’s how fragile his ego was. He was humbled by the interaction with his son. Ready to turn himself in. And one small bite to his fragile ego and whoop it all went straight back to sht and he was at it again.
The spinoff, 'Better Call Saul' is an absolute treat if you love 'Breaking Bad'! The first season is a very slow burn, but things really begin to cook at a certain point and in some ways is better. Also has events happen that add extra depth to 'Breaking Bad'. Highly recommended! Loved watching this again with you two 💝💝
What an ending. It sucks that Jesse had to be working as a slave for the neo-Nazis in the last three episodes of the series, seeing Andrea killed with the threat of Brock being next if he doesn’t continue and watching Walt lose everything which was his fault in the first place since he blackmailed Jesse into cooking with him otherwise he’d turn him over to the police and then seeing his ego come out and basically consume him. Seeing Saul leave with a new identity is a good lead into Better Call Saul and Robert Forster as Ed the disappearer is awesome. He was great in his appearance here. Also, seeing Walt do what he could in the end to get his money to his kids through Gretchen and Elliott, with Badger and Skinny Pete’s help, him giving Skyler the lottery ticket to help her get out of the mess she’s in because of him and use the ricin finally one someone as well as saving Jesse and killing the Nazis who killed Hank and Gomez, Jesse killing Todd and then Jesse driving away before Walt goes into the meth lab where he falls on the floor and dies from the gunshot wound he got from saving Jesse. Such a great show. I hope you guys watch El Camino and Better Call Saul at some point. Great reactions and I hope you two are doing well. Take care!
such a perfect show, so much happened in just 1 year for Walt. In episode 1 Skylar makes the #51 in bacon for Walt right before he finds out about the cancer, and then him sitting in the Denny's he makes the 52. So many subtle references and they all hit so perfectly.
"Im gonna kill Jack and his entire crew, take back my money and give it to my family. Only then am I done.". The entire plot of the finale is laid out right there. Just amazing that he pulled it off all by himself. And releasing Jesse was something he hadn't planned on, but was another good deed that just presented itself.
"Somebody leaking..." Everybody besides Jessie and Todd. BTW: Walt dying at the scene,in the lab, makes it look like he was cooking for them instead of Jessie, clearing Jessie even more.
When the finale aired, it was such an event. All the bars where I live in Brooklyn were showing it. My wife, who was my girlfriend at the time, and I went to this one Austrian bar across the street from her crib, and it was *packed.* It was just a beautiful time. Hands down one of the best shows of all time. Every now and again, you'll bump into people who say dumb isht like "Breaking Bad is overrated" and whatnot. Those are deeply unserious people. Disregard anything those m'fers say about any kind of art.
I just binged watched all y’all’s Breaking Bad reactions from beginning to end & I’ll say it was a great ride ❤. Y’all have got to watch El Camino if you haven’t already & see what Jessie does next.
The keys in the visor scene is a nod to Badger and Heisenberg's mission to get the vacuum cleaner filled with money that was sold at a yard sale. In other words, Badger taught him that.
El Camino is a movie that continues right from the end of the series with Jesse, and then there is Better Call Saul which follows Saul from before, during and after the events of Breaking Bad.
Just a few words about the ending title: Felina" is an anagram for "finale", the song involves the unnamed cowboy being driven away from his love "Felina" and later returning only to die in her arms. This mirrors the events in the episode where Walt returns to Albuquerque and dies in the arms of a chemistry lab and also that "Felina" is a portmanteau of "Fe", "Li" and "Na", the symbols for iron, lithium and sodium, or shorthand for "blood, meth and tears" is a fallacy. Perfection in Details to the last bit.
Todd was definitely not a nice thug lol. He was a sociopath. He murdered a child and innocent woman in cold blood without giving it a second thought. The only reason Jessie didn’t kill Walt was he saw Walt was shot and let him die a slow death or shoot himself.
Have loved your reactions throughout the series 🙂 it’s that time of year when I re-watch the whole show. Greatest ending to the greatest series. Ties up all the loose ends perfectly.
There are certain things throughout history that different generations of people live through. We are all living in the generation of people that got to witness the greatest television show/series ever… Pretty f’n cool!!!
You two are doing an incredable job. Congratulations on your growing subscribers! I wish the writers would create a spin-off where : Walt Jr would start "cooking", Jessie would try to stop him, but then start to train him. Skyler would step in and start laundering the money again.
Excited to see the reaction. Hope you guys follow with Better Call Saul! It’s a different tone but has shades of breaking bad throughout it and has a hell of a final season!
Walt puttin that hat back on, to get back in the Heisenberg frame of mind... so he can "handle" things one last time. With a little atonement. Like, everybody just step tf back while I go be brilliant and set things right. His last acts were nothing short of badass! Only villain, or antihero, I've ever sympathized with. Def my favorite "bad guy" ever!!
Here's something else: remember the Marty Robbins song at the beginning? Walt was also singing it to himself when he was making the gun mechanism. The song is called "El Paso," and it's about a cowboy who kills a man over a woman, then leaves town before the posse can get him. But he returns to town to see the woman one more time, even though he knows he's going to be killed. This is exactly what Walt did...he returned to town to take care of final business, and he knew he would never make it out again. The woman in the song? Her name is "Felina," which is the title of this episode. And get ready for this..."Felina" is an anagram of..."finale."
Todd killed a kid without a thought, murdered Andrea and tortured Jesse for a year. There is no mercy coming for that sociopath, especially from Jesse. Love your reactions! Excited to see your reaction to El Camino.

@@JohnnyUtah15 Techniscslly the movie is apart of the series
Asia after the laser pointer scene: "Who was that?"
BJ: "Some hired hitmen. He (Walter) knows some big-time criminals."
Cut to: Skinny Pete and Badger. LMAO.
22:31 the way the theme music comes in at the end is so raw
And, Loving It.
Thank you!
I can’t wait for you guys to watch the sequel better call saul, these videos make my day every time i see an upload
It's a sequel and prequel at the same time.
@@joemckim1183 Right! First scene, Saul's working at a Cinnabon.
@@sunnny819 Breaking bad wasn't exactly fast paced in season 1 either.
@@sunnny819 Cool beans, not what I was talking about. Have a good one.
“Two ghosts staring at each other” - PERFECT description of that scene!!!!
I agree
It's over.
A GIANT milestone in TV. The break 😏 down was dripping off of tongues for days. We wept that it was over. Then came Saul. Then came Camino.
Thanks so much ❤️❤️
I love how at the beginning of season 5 Walt told Saul "we're done when I say we're done" and at the end of the season Walt tries to say it again to Saul but can't even finish the sentence due to his deteriorating health.. it's the perfect way to show that Walt is no longer the king..
Asia was right. Walter called the DEA from the bar then left the handset dangling because he was going to wait for them and turn himself in, after the call with Junior didn't go how he expected. But then he saw Elliot and Gretchen saying what they said on TV, and that triggered him, so he changed his mind.
Another vote for watching El Camino straight away!
I love that jacks ego got him killed while Walter disguised his to achieve his own goal.
Actually, with the road that the story went down. Walts death was the only answer they had left. The captain with a sinking ship. It was up to him to set it right.
Plus, the promotional poster that came out. Gave away that he was dying in the last episode. Instead of "whats my name". It said, "Remember my name."
I think the ending should have been tweaked a little.
Best show of all time.
that ending sounds bad
I'm loving that BJ knows his Marty Robbins
I've watched every single one of these Breaking Bad reactions...took me about a month. Then right until the last minute of this episode I realized I wasn't even subscribed. 😅I am now, and I'll definitely be back. Y'all's presence is comforting.
Hey, appreciate your kind words and sub! Thanks ❤️❤️
Please follow up with El Camino! Love your reactions to this awesome TV series.
This!!
Haven't seen any reaction videos of El Camino. It's like Netflix won't allow it.
@@Head-ck4hunawh there's been a few but El Camino sadly never caught on. Probably from the amount of years that has gone by
@@Rand0mHero713It was mainly because it wasn't all that good in comparison, so the hype for it died down extremely fast and there wasn't a big demand for reactions for it.
Garbage
One thing about this series that I hadn't noticed until it was pointed out to me is that Jesse was always being driven around after he met Walt. The rides to the desert, the rides with Mike - he was always a passenger in someone else's car. Except for two scenes (at least as far as I can remember). The go-kart track and his escape from the compound. I thought it was an interesting metaphor for control.
It was an absolute pleasure watching this series with you guys, I looked forward to your reactions every week, from the start of the show. Thanks for your efforts!
Our pleasure! Thanks ❤️❤️
The day after the final episode aired, the Albuquerque Journal actually printed an obituary for "Walter White"
Great rewatching with u guys!!
El Camino (named after the car Jesse drove off in) ties up some extra loose ends nicely
I agree that the writing stayed solid throughout the series. I live in Albuquerque, so it's an added treat to see some of the local sites in the show. There is a tour you can take here of some of the locations on the show, and you ride around in an RV like the one they cooked in.
im from albuquerque 🌵🫶
The best finale of the best show of all time. The ending was absolute perfection. What a show!
Yes. Do not forget what Saul said about Cinnabon
Every few years I’ll introduce this series to a friend and will watch it in its entirety with them. This time around I had some feelings about watching “reactions” to it, but now, at the end, I’m in my feels about it like I am every other time, even though it’s been in clips. I feel like I’ve watched it with new friends.
Same 💯 Thanks ❤️❤️
The song, 'Baby Blue', at the end was perfect.
I knew Robert Forster. Fantastic human being. I was devastated when he passed.
22:00 goose bumps
Todd Alquist is my spirit animal. If Lydia has an army of simps, Me and Todd are the Generals
Many series are fantastic but they drop the ball when it comes time to end it. This one nailed it. Thanks for a great reaction ride.
I like Asia's take that Marie would've had Skyler, Flynn (Walt Jr) and Holly living with her. That's what would have happened in the real world.
Except that Marie (with good cause) blames Skylar for a lot of what happened.
Loved watching this again with you two 💝💝
Just binged all of these in like 2 or 3 days. It was a joy rewatching this series and getting to see your first time reactions.
😂😂😂 BJ rolling with Marty Robbins’ “El Paso”. Awesome! I forgot the scene at their house is at the beginning of the episode 😂😂 So funny when I saw it.
I’ve watched breaking bad at least five times but watching y’all watch for the first time has been so great love you two together
Awe!! Thank you so much!! We appreciate you for watching and supporting our channel. 💯
This final episode is a masterpiece, Vince Giglian is a genius
I really enjoyed this ride with both of you. Hoping to see your reactions to El Camino and Better Call Saul.
Oh yeah, killed Lydia also.
I love that you knew Marty Robin's El Paso right off the top of your head
"Somebody leaking..."
Everybody besides Jessie and Todd.
BTW: Walt dying at the scene,in the lab, makes it look like he was cooking for them instead of Jessie, clearing Jessie even more.
When the finale aired, it was such an event.
All the bars where I live in Brooklyn were showing it. My wife, who was my girlfriend at the time, and I went to this one Austrian bar across the street from her crib, and it was *packed.*
It was just a beautiful time.
Walter White walked into a bar.
Heisenberg walked out of the bar.
The way y'all reacted to Walt's phone call with his son made me tear up. Good people.
Great job guys. It has been an honor watching this series with the both of you. It was better with your commentary.
Aww much love! Thanks ❤️❤️
Todd was definitely not a nice thug lol. He was a sociopath. He murdered a child and innocent woman in cold blood without giving it a second thought.
The only reason Jessie didn’t kill Walt was he saw Walt was shot and let him die a slow death or shoot himself.
Enjoyed watching this back with you guys. Thanks for reactions!
It’s been a pleasure! Thanks Fam ❤️❤️
Thanks for a wonderful ride with this series, I'm also looking forward to Better Call Saul.
Have loved your reactions throughout the series 🙂 it’s that time of year when I re-watch the whole show. Greatest ending to the greatest series. Ties up all the loose ends perfectly.
That last shot of the glass at the end of granite state with the theme music playing is so fucking good I get chills every time I see it
10 years later.... and this is still the greatest finale to a tv show i have ever seen
One of the best finales ever! LONG LIVE HEISENBERG🩵
There are certain things throughout history that different generations of people live through. We are all living in the generation of people that got to witness the greatest television show/series ever… Pretty f’n cool!!!
The last song is baby Blue...the Heisenberg product was Blue meth. Best show ever and the best reaction on yt. Bravo❤
That last scene of Granite State is so great, the way they slowly build up the theme song just hits so hard.
I love the way the alternate version of the theme plays in the end of ep 15
Walt in the bar is one of my favorite scenes from the show. Such a badass.
Todd killed a kid without a thought, murdered Andrea and tortured Jesse for a year. There is no mercy coming for that sociopath, especially from Jesse.
Love your reactions! Excited to see your reaction to El Camino.
