I believe you brother. Even if someone managed to mimic Rafi sahab style (for eg-Saurav Kishan recently hyped as Chota Rafi) , they won't be able to give the emotion and the feeling and extraordinary amount of details he put in a song. I have never loved the voice of any singer as much as Rafi sahab. And it is so nice to see people like you and many others appreciating Rafi sahab even after so many years.
Those were the days between 1961-64, I, a ten year old school student enjoyed singing these songs along with about a dozen of students in the evenings sitting in the Municipal park at Somwarpet Poona (now pune) holding the cine song booklets. I returned to my native place Trivandrum in 1965 on when my father was transferred. Today I viewed in UA-cam the most favourite song which we enjoyed 58 years ago. I could sing it with little mistakes and it carried me to the golden golden days.
