49:56 This will come back to bite you. You should have objected to the framing of that question with an answer like "I do not consent for you to manufacture circumstances or withhold information which increases my chances of death above 0.1% during my life before my body's age reaches the median age of people who die naturally of old age, and for anything else, I prioritize the activities which bring my chances of death from any level above 0.1% to below 0.1%". That's my best disclosure I could think of on the spot.
Other than a fear of somthing no I didn't know the meaning of the somthing but it very quickly became clear and made that mental link to the origins/choice of the name thanos used in marvel.
Thanatos was the greek god of death. Interestingly, in the comics of infinity war, Thanos was doing his whole thing to impress the personification of death.

@@carrie_white_ Oh absolutely no need to delete it, it's cool someone already picked up on this. Currently the first two parts of the second installment are up on my reddit page. There will be multiple installments leading up to Götterdämmerung. Each of which will be slices of events leading up to a final installment.
@@A.I.Lovecraft Excellent. I will definitely be keeping up with this one. Thanks!
Excellent story! Kept us listening straight through the entire story.
Thank you both to the narrator and the author. Great story and narration. Started this near the end of my shift and had 40mins left when I got home. Needless to say the first and only story at the moment that I had to keep listening to at home. Keep up the good work both, hope to hear authors additions soon
Loved this story very enjoyable and entertaining 😁👍 keep up the great work and ty so much for not killing the story with ads that always seem to kill the climax of the story people don't understand how much ads mess with the emotional ride of a story
This was SOOOOO KOOOL!!!! I am a fan futuristic tech guesswork. And this 1 is FANTASTIC!! !!!!!!!!!
SO MANY PLACES to GO NOW with the writing on this 1!!!!
SO ENJOYABLE.. THANK YOU!!!!!!
Wow! Truly amazing work on this one. 👏
This was a really great story. Hats off to you and the author
I had no idea what Thanatophobia was until I heard it from you. I have to say that I was impressed with this story and the way you read it was outstanding. You did a terrific job!!!
I'm only half way in and already I want a movie of this more than I have never wanted a movie of a story before in my life lol
I love these long stories that aren't about horror but just a really good adventure.
Loved this! Fell asleep and searched for 2 days
I had to hear the ending
Great story and so grateful to find it. Triple thumbs up🙂
This is why I enjoy longer stories, they are always interesting and cool.
and lighthouse reads them so beautifully too.
I still have no idea what that phobias is but it definitely was great story nonetheless and if I got chance to get a watch like that didn't drive me crazy oh yeah I'd be taking it most definitely
Excellent, I found Elroy endearing. Masterpiece story both because of the writing and the performance. And yes I knew Thanatophobia because I knew the Greek components.
Really cool story. Glad Lighthouse read it...love his narrative voice
I have a second job as a golf course maintenance worker. I spend most of my mornings (5 am to about 1:30 pm) by myself on a mower. These stories help the day go by faster as it's like watching a movie with my minds eye. This particular story is probably my favorite one I've listened to in awhile. Thanks and keep posting!!!
I’m a huge fan of your narrations. I would love to hear you do the rest of the discount voodoo shop series, that series so far has been one of my favorites.
Hey Michael! That's one's next up on my long stories! Working on it now 🙂
This has to be the longest ad I've ever listened to!! (still loved the story)
A very good one Lighthouse, hope there's a sequel.
I'm currently around the 1 hour mark. What a great story. The narration? A+. You get better and better each time
This is one of the best stories I've heard from Lighthouse & his narration is awesome I love this story will we get a squeal? Sure hope so!!!!!
Check out the link to my reddit page, first two parts of the next installment are up.
Good job balancing the volumes! I know in the first story I listened to, things like phone calls were super silent. All the voices in this one were great, and all balanced so much better to listen to from across the room! Great work!
Absolutely loved this story, Elroy being my favorite 😁
This has to be one of my favorite stories I've heard! I must confess I almost didn't listen to it due to having thanatophobia and being scared of being triggered about it by the story, and at first, I wasn't really captured by the story, but I'm glad I kept listening. It was amazing, amazing story and amazing narration!
Ohhhhhh a long one!! So tempted to listen to it.....but will need it sunday, while working🤣🤣🤣the torture
This is the best nearly 2 hour long creepy pasta I’ve ever listen to, good job!
Loved this story, very clever, well written and narrated… makes for a uniquely good horror story, a nice balance of eeriness and humor.
This story read like a battle royale, psychological manga. Great story!
I didn’t know what that phobia was, learned something new! Greattttt story really!! Great reader!
This was an awesome story. Thank you Lighthouse horror!
This story remind me of one of Stephen Kings short stories - were a organisation controles people to make them quit smoking.
This was one of many of the best stories I’ve enjoyed from your channel
I'm 1 hour in and this is just as good as watching a movie... I'm thoroughly enjoying the author's work. I'm also thankful to have a vivid imagination
I'm so glad that I found your channel. Best stories, best narration.
Tnx mane!
Glad you like them! Thanks for the support!
I LUV these kinda rides. I ALWAYS say this but a universe worth exploring for SURE! EPIC read my man. Keep up the good work
Another excellent story thanks again for taking the time and effort for uploading these outstanding stories dude much appreciated!😎👍
Great story. I think I'm on my forth listen, I love these ones with lots of details and the humour laced into it to is just a wonderful listen!
This is definitely the best, most riveting story I've listened to on this channel yet!
I hope this author delivers more like this soon 💚💚💚
You just got yourself a subscriber!
Well done!!
Welcome to the channel Heather!
Loved!! Brings me so much joy hearing new and creative storytelling ❤
Yes!!! An extended version! Best! THANQ light house horror!

This story was amazing & your narration was super, sir!
this is one of the best stories I've heard so far, and I appreciate such creativity and imagination. right before this story i had been having thoughts of how much i had been getting desensitized from my engagement towards these type of stories, but this one has been so engaging, if ever these watches come around i'll be getting one lol
His boy, Elroy!
Literally what I thought every time someone said it's name
So funny. I remember the Jetsons!
I LOVE this story! It's right up there with King Creole and Barnaby's Very Old Store, my all-time favorites.
This was one of my favorites. Excellent work!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow. This would make a really good movie. I would love to see this in a movie! 😲
