In the spring of 2008 Sinfonietta Rīga started a series of a new concert program „Sinfonietta Rīga plays music in a Rundāle Palace".

2008. gada pavasarī Sinfonietta Rīga mākslinieciskais vadītājs Normunds Šnē un Rundāles pils direktors Imants Lancmanis, sadarbojoties ar SEB banku, radīja koncertprogrammas sēriju „Sinfonietta Rīga muzicē Rundāles pilī", vēloties radīt mākslas un mūzikas mijiedarbību vēsturiskā vidē.
Šis ieraksts tapis 2008. gada 8. novembrī -- otrajā koncertsērijas koncertā, kas norisinājās Rundāles pils Zelta zālē, atspoguļojot baroka laikmeta instrumentālos un vokālos aspektus.

Excellently written and excellently performed. Masterful, elegant "sound colors". Thank you "Sinfonietta Rīga" for posting this wonderful music. Only 3.1views, instead of this music being seen and heard by millions of people. Boccherini was reduced by the "musical historical monopoly" to the composer of "Minuetto" and possibly "chamber music". He was a virtuoso, of all genres, celebrated in Europe; The kings "fought" who would bring him to their court.
