I have two adorable dogs but I’m going to choose my Papillon. His name is Prince and he is three years old. He is a little shy and independent but still sweet and very attached to his ball!!
Nancy I choose you for the next one! I’ve never painted this breed. When you have a moment, send me an email with at least 3-photos and 3-videos of Prince. lauren@laurenelizabethanimalart.com
Love your style. I am partnered with Fergus….a Dorkie Snorkie , who is a 11 pound smile maker. I get stopped everywhere, and asked what breed he is as he just smiles at them. Truly he is the cutest, unique fellow. He was born on the first day of lockdown and is my lunacy, madness, joy and delight.
I met a lady that was needing to find homes for her puppies, half poodle/half chihuahua. My father-in-law had just lost his dog and was heartbroken. My mom, my friend and I went to look at the puppies to surprise him with a puppy and ended up taking all four. That was 15 years ago. My dog Bindi, who looks like a long-haired chihuahua, and my mom’s dog Pepper are the only 2 still alive. Poor Bindi’s bottom jaw broke in half in the front. She only has 1 tooth left that sticks out. She has been such a comfort to me through breast cancer, two foot surgeries and 1 shoulder surgery. She laid by my side as if saying I will always be here for you. Therefore, I would love to have a her chosen so she will always be here for me.
Reading this is such a beautiful story! Who would have thought you would come home with all 4. That's hilarious. But it sounds like you needed Bindi to help you in the future. I'm so sorry for all the painful things you've been through. Thank you for your nomination!
Our dog Lucky was a rescue off of the road. He was a red and white bull dog. He was starving and not in good shape on the day of rescue. That was in 2011 Lucky just passed away on April 4th of this year, he was very spoiled and loved and we miss him dearly. I would be honored if you would paint his portrait.
I love hearing stories like this! I HATE animal abuse and neglect, so hearing this story just fills me with so much joy. God bless you for loving Lucky! Keep spreading that love! Thank you for nominating Lucky, stay tuned!
I can't find the description box so I will nominate here: My friend's Mini Molly Mule, "Bella." Bella is a 4 year old rescue. She is coming back from a harsh former life. She is not a dog, but she is pretty close.
Thanks for your nomination, unfortunately this is for dogs. I appreciate your comment Cadence. I have something in store for wildlife photos later so stay tuned.
LOVE your work!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much!
I love the idea of collecting and teaching images from your friends. There's more meaning to the tutorial. Adorable how you did the background!
Thank you so much dear! Yes I'm pretty excited about this series.

Thank you so much Pamela. I keep hearing this one is a favorite of many!

Mam i try your all paintings for me☺️💫✨
Do we need to send a picture with our entry or only if our story is picked?
Great question!! Nope, if your dog is chosen I’ll respond with my email for you to send three photos. For now just those 3-points.
