I nominate my 17 month puppy. . Sierra Star. She is a boxer pit bull mix. She is a beautiful brindle, the runt in her litter because she is so tiny. She is a rescue from Buffalo Underdog, Buffalo New York, but she came all the way from Jasper, Texas. It was a rough trip for her but she has come out of her shell and has been so much fun since she joined our family. She is extremely smart and snorts like a pig. She is the sweetest thing u could ever meet
Hi Lauren! I had so much fun following along with you while painting Spot. I can't wait to start this painting of Louis, what an adorable face 😍 Last time I nominated my rescue pup Pickles. This time I will nominate his brother Mr.Chips. Mr.Chips is a senior miniature pinscher rescue. We adopted him as a senior and were told he was around 10 or 12 years old, and his 5th gotcha day with us is coming up in September. He is blind in one eye, but that doesn't slow him down one bit. He is the cuddliest dog I have ever met. He is very talkative and lets you know exactly what he wants or needs. He has helped his brother Pickles come out of his shell, and has shown him so much love and cuddles. Mr.Chips is the first senior rescue I've had, and has taught me so much about love and trust and to cherish every moment we have together in this beautiful life 💕
Desiree I remember you and your Pickles nomination! Mr. Chips sounds like such an outgoing teddybear dog! I LOVE how you described him. Thank you for your nomination. I want you to know I will be looking back at these older nominations for the next tutorials! God bless.
Hi Lauren, I love that you are doing these dog paintings! You are so talented!! Your voice is so calming and I do love when you share scripture and your thoughts about it. God is certainly using you through all your gifts!! I thought I would nominate my heart dog, my sheltie Murphy. He was the sweetest boy. He always wanted to be right by my side and touching me. When I would talk to him he would look at me with his big sweet brown eyes hanging on my every word. He made me feel like I was the most important person in the whole world. I miss him so much everyday.
Murphy, I love that name. I'm so sorry for his passing. I can imagine you miss him! I'm curious was his nickname Murph? That's our neighbors nickname. What a loyal, loving dog he was. Btw, when I read this comment I nearly broke down in tears. The timing of it was incredible. I often wonder if I'm being at all helpful sharing these verses and my faith. This was the very way I found healing from addiction so I'm eager to share it. Anyway, God bless you. Thank you for picking me up from discouragement!
He’s a beautiful doggie! My doggie Dallas was a girl and she was a really special Pekingese. She had big brown eyes. She was very expressive and squishy face. She was sometimes grouchy but she was very loving. Glad you’re Adam got a job. That’s fabulous!
Wow! Your such a amazing painter! My dogs Name: Blaze Breed: Lab-pit-mix! Something special: When we were adopting a dog, we found this golden lab puppy and we wanted him! the next day we went to pick him up its turns out they switched the dogs by accident and we got are lab-pit-mix Blaze! and i'm happy that happened because she is a amazing dog!
I CANNOT believe you were given the wrong dog. That's both such a surprise, but still sounds like was meant to be. Mistakes are just "happy accidents" as Bob Ross always said. hahah. Blaze is also the coolest name, period! I appreciate your nomination Sarah. I will look back on these for future tutorials.
Finn, Silken Windhound breed. I claim that scripture about my grown son regularly. He has Aspergers . He recently got this dog. Finn is ministering to him SO much. Getting him out of the house.. seeing other people and love it.. I have just recently started painted. I cannot get Finn’s snout and face at ALL. Desperately want to pain his dog to bless my son. Praying you will choose Finn so I can give it to my son for Christmas. I have already gotten enough pics of him to submit. LOVE what you shared about God answering prayers.. just not how we want sometimes. Our TRUE Father knows best. (Sometimes it is not the easiest)
Hi Lauren! Lovely work! I so enjoy watching and learning from your steady hand! I want to nominate my Brussels Griffon, Sophie. I am sorry to hear tHe breed is now so rare. Have a great day and God bless you and your family. Gail

You are amazing to paint every day, and Heijo must feel so much more connection and healing from this group painting. Great spiritual therapy 😊
