No, but he did know what movements worked well for him, and what sold. That’s the genius. Performing it a a high level is the talent. There is no such thing as the ‘Best Dancer’. Was he the best dancer as a Pop Star? That’s an easy YES.
He was in a League of His Own, a league never reached, never replicated! He patented his moves, vocals and style! He didn’t just perform and entertain, he created a legacy that will live on forever! Mr. Michael Joseph Jackson was a genius at his craft
A true genius, a legend to be recognized one who will not be forgotten for his greatness, his talent that goes beyond in above our expectation, his hard work has certainly paid off and continue to remind us of how great he was in many categories. His talent was not limited, and with all of his success, he still managed to be humble, and have a given spirit as well as to be a server. He was never high minded a very down earth gentleman.
@@mjshowandtell good morning how have you been? it’s a beautiful Wednesday morning sending love to you today. I certainly enjoyed this video. Thank you for the smile this morning. I trust all is well with you. Enjoy your Wednesday. God bless you.
Seriously, name a musician today with their own silhouette, signature dance moves per song, amazing dancer, charm, flare, amazing singer, Broadway appeal with class and showmanship. Go ahead and name ONE artist today. Not whoever's on top today. Name an artist today that checks all these boxes that Micheal is known for on stage. Not to mention his humanitarian efforts off the stage.

I always love seeing him dance. Whether he is dancing are not. I always like looking at him. He is such a pleasant person. And he like to see other people do well also. Very Genuine .. kind individual.
It’s ben around about 100 years. I was doing it in Elementary school in the 70’s. On the West coast it is called “backsliding” while in the East it is called “Moon walking”(Michael was taught the move by a popular East coast Break Dancer). Performed for many decades by Mimes all around the world. Part of Michael’s genius is in making the average person believe he invented it just because he was the first one they saw do it. This happens alot in the white community when they see dance elements for the first time, that have been performed in the Black community for years. Limited authentic cultural exposure. When Michael performed it on Motown 25, to Billie Jean, I and others were watching the original broadcast together. I ignored the moonwalk for the spins at the end. The spins are orders of magnitude more difficult.
Everything said is true. Being a dancer myself, a key to MJs greatness is that he pioneered allowing a dance move to "BREATHE". This means he would execute an incredible move that would punctuate that move in isolation and allow the viewer to digest it. THIS is the secret to how his moves become iconic. I'm so sad to say that ALMOST no dancers have done what MJ said which was to study the masters and improve upon their work. This is why almost no other entertainer has iconic moves that are their signature move. Because even if they do make an incredible move, it's buried in a flurry of movements so the viewer leaves with the perception that the overall dance was just "good". He pioneered so much more but I'll leave this message short
How many times do Black folks have to tell you?! Michael did NOT create the Moonwalk! That is what it is called on the East Coast. It is called “Backsliding” on the West, where I grew up. I was doing that in Elementary school in the 70’s. He was TAUGHT that move by a popular dancer at the time. He’s said it over and over. Plus, as a former dancer I can telly you that Michael used choreographic elements from many different sources, which he expressed in his own way leading to his own style. He knew what worked for his body. Anyone can be taught choreography given enough time and resources. Look at dancing with the stars. The highest form of dancing is something you feel, then DO. Some things shouldn’t be overanalyzed, just appreciated. He didn’t practice until he got a movement right, he practiced until he couldn’t get it wrong. That’s the difference between World Class and everyone else. Peace.
Most of his moves were the FIRST of it's kind. Allot of them came from James Brown and the legendary history of Black American tap and swing dancers. But his most MIMICKED MOVES are 100% original to Michael Jackson, like where did he come up with this stuff?
I don't know if any of you guys have been hearing what is being said a lot in music circles lately? The new talk now is that a number of people in music circles such as 50 Cent and a few others think that Chris Brown is a better dancer than Michael Jackson....🤬 I'm not having any of it, and I'm pretty sure that none of you reading this are too. That's blasphemy.
Nobody can’t beat Michael. Michael Jackson has the best footwork and talent.

Moonwalk Is The Best Move In The World Of Music ❤👑

Такие как Майкл рождаются раз в тысячелетие ❤и вообще я думаю что такого больше не будет! Великий мастер Майкл Джексон ❤❤❤❤❤

❤🎉 🎼🎶 Adorable performance by M.J. Unparalleled. Genius 💐🌹
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Michael Jackson didn’t invent the moonwalk, but like everything else he did, he perfected it! ❤🧤
❤
MJ has great footwork and this is just another word fo rhythm do ya'll feel what I'm saying tho lol
He tried to be perfect 100% of the time, and thats what art is being unique, and tend to be as good as it gets! 🙃
THE KING OF POP WILL LIVE FOREVER 🙏🙏
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
粉絲們,我們的比得潘王子明天生日嘍~😢懷念他吧!直到我們死了都不會再有任何人,超越這位傳奇人物了😢
It was in his genes to be a great dancer
That lean....!
He could also moonwalk sideways: that you should have shown too... 😁

It's not a moonwalk it's called a backslide, a moonwalk goes forward,
Charlie Chaplin versus Idol and he had a lot of moves from him
Most of his moves were the FIRST of it's kind. Allot of them came from James Brown and the legendary history of Black American tap and swing dancers. But his most MIMICKED MOVES are 100% original to Michael Jackson, like where did he come up with this stuff?
🥹
And he's not the first person to do the moonwalk in case ya'll didn't know that
Michael Jackson was an incredible dancer. And I like Justin Timberlake's dancing and acting better than his singing.
I don't know if any of you guys have been hearing what is being said a lot in music circles lately?

No no way. Never, Michael is the best hands down
