    Its's great to see performance parts like this coming available again for older bikes. Always wanted to own a gsx1400, gives me more reason to buy one now!

    Does anyone know how to get them st 2 cams? I can only find st1 yoshi cams

      I got st1 then had them reground to higher lift. Total cost works out about £1300. But it’s worth about 50 Hp. So that’s cheap Hp.

    Still feel a lot of love for the gsx1400, with cams, flowing and exhaust they felt like you were strapped on a charging rhino.....masses of go everywhere, I can only guess how mad a supercharged version would feel !

    Now give it a spray of Nos and throw on some brembo gear to pull her up

    Still my dream to get my 03 GSXR with a supercharger. I think that and a good MC, calipers, pads and rotors would make the bike near on perfect

    200 horses, no electronics and wooden brakes. Hopefully it came with spare pants.

    Why don't you use an electric super charger??

    • @janusmarais7580
      @janusmarais7580 12 днів тому

      They add too much complexity and weigh more than a mechanical supercharger.
      Think about it, youll need batteries and a sizeable electric motor to get meaningful boost going, now a mechanical supercharger just needs a pumping ellement connected to the engine by a belt. Yes there will be more parasitic drag on the engine, but worrying about your supercharger batteries and fuel is just stupid IMO. If you connect the batteries to a generator thats connected to the engine, you now will need more complex components wich add weight.
