Thanks for the great video Will! I pulled for and got Elena, but don't have enough vis to go for Jayden now. However this is good info to know when I'm facing an opposing Jayden.
Great review as always! Two things I'd like to add: 1) Magiblast can easily one-shot units on this GvG map, especially if they're not prepared for that damage type. Even Fina's Sparkle Shower is one-shot'ing folks. 2) You kind of implied it in the range height section, but both Magiblast and Golden Magishot don't require line of sight to target as opposed to the rest of Jayden's kit which are like typical gunner abilities. This is the only reason he can snipe across the GvG map over the middle mesa. I've seen other reviews/previews undervalue Golden Magishot as a reason to not take Jayden to jlvl 25. Besides the ability's merits that are obvious in WotV Calc, it gives him three more uses of an ability with this targeting property (arcing). I've found on his GvG map that he would use up his Magiblast uses pretty quickly on the first match and wished he had some charges left in the second one.
I was just gonna say, the Magiblast *can* one-shot them, but I've found that a lot of what I'm seeing in the Top 10 is that people are gearing for missile resist pretty decently. Not just for Jayden but because Cloud/Fred is a legitimate macro that is being run. And since Charlotte has so much SPR, Jayden will often spam Magiblast her way and she barely takes a dent because she's geared for Missile Res and has so much SPR. But you're right, technically if someone's not ready for that it should smoke them
That's some really in-depth information for this dark horse. Initially I was happy to skip Jayden but after watching this video, I'm starting to reconsider whether I should pull and slow build him.
Got a little of your math wrong. His starting ap of 41 + the 28 from his buff is 69 not 59 and 45 missile pen from 100 is 55 not 65. Overall great review though. I pulled Elena and went all out on Jayden because I felt they would be an amazing pair. Throw in any other light filler and you have a powerful team. WoL, Yuna, S Kilphe or Sakura in the future. I have him 115 and like him a lot so far.
I'm so embarrassed xD particularly since math is my forte. Big time brain fart in the process of accumulating all the data for the vid. Thanks for bringing visibility to that error in the comments though since I can't edit the video
lmao it should, I used the template from my Tune Up Vision Card review for this and forgot to change it... Thanks for bringing visibility to it in the comments
As does for most special jobs. Like 2B for instance her main job abilities get 25% of her dex for her attacks. For instance if you have 400 dex on Jayden then 25% of that is added before multipliers. It is like having an additional 100 magic added on before multipliers.
It does! (Or it *should* at least). I know there's been datamining that's confirmed that part of the damage calc is adding in the other stats. I've tested some of the math myself and it doesn't always work out so I can't say with 100% confidence, but hypothetically yes the high DEX is also a straight up Damage boost because part of the initial generated damage takes that into account
There's actually a lore reason why Jaden has the Quasar gun. It belongs to Veritas of the light from the original Brave Exvius, Jaden summons Her against Gilgamesh who he knows is Veritas of the frost from Brave Exvius.
What I really want to know is how Jaden knew to summon her against Gilgamesh aka veritas of the frost? Jaden knows allot more than the story is telling us
Just my 2 cents, but I think aim is the best build for most weapons, as so many of the tippy top units in the game now are evade. I think crit makes sense for certain units, like Auron for example who crits all the time with a crit type shimmering blade and then you can boost crit damage up for him with tidus necklace. Crit might make a lot of sense for Frederika, too, but I built assault for her. Assault (or in this case Magic) just seems kind of meh, its usually only an extra 30 to 60 points, and on top of 1000 to 1400 mag or att, it seems like a drop in the ocean. As long as the accuracy boost is more than about 13, it might be worth.
I totally get you on the Aim build, and I won't disagree. Having a high Magic stat means nothing when you can't hit an enemy. I just know a lot of the TMR's have a similar AIM stat built into them (12-14 range), so if you're stacking both, the Aim gun really only gets you an extra 6% or so. Hence why I think there's a decent case to be made for the varying types here.
You have the most comprehensive and unbiased unit reviews, which is why I always check your reviews.
Yeah, he does really good reviews. I've been checking them out for a while now
Just found out this channel recently, very helpful and quality content for advanced players out there
Keep uploading mate!
Glad you're still having fun in-game. I will slow build Jayden for forever. Looking forward to eventually completing my light team

Elena was the right one to go for. Jayden is not limited and his VC isnt mandatory.
Best WOTV channel. Awesome video, man.
Thanks for the vid! My jayden will be 115 at reset =)
Also got 6 stars of ViP yesterday!
Great video will! Managed to go jayden over Oberon with current vis pool and have not been disappointed!
Thanks for the video, excellent review! Regretfully I’m going to have to wait until I pull Jayden in the future because I want Oberon.

I really was gonna skip it. But you had to post this lol. Great review!
Great vid man, subscribing
Amazing unit review as always. And also, will you do another guild war tier list in the future? Thanks RPW!
Definitely will! Guild War tier list is my next video I'll be doing in the next day or two, thanks for the kind words!
@@ReadyPlayerWill it will be interesting how global and JP differ in GW meta. Looking forward to it!

Love me 💕💕💕 nice review buddy.
math looks a little sus at 11:48
LOL OH NOOOO what did I do xD what a boneheaded mistake
Lol super suspect math at 7:28
100 - 45 = 65.
@@goodmanwiseman303 If I shake my head any harder at myself my brain is going to come loose xD
Hi, do you recommend maxing his faith or should i keep it low? He uses Mag stat so will it increase his damage?
Looks like at 16:44, the VC says it gives buffs to water units. Shouldn't this be light?
lmao it should, I used the template from my Tune Up Vision Card review for this and forgot to change it... Thanks for bringing visibility to it in the comments
Are you using jaydens VC and what is your VC set up?
Tier List coming anytime soon, i need my fix lol.
Can you please do a review on HW freddie?
Just got him from 9 step summon when searching for prism ticket for my Elena lol
Question, since Helena's shield counts for both physical and magic, how would he's LB effect it
about his vc... dex give not only crit and hit rate but dps from skill (like 100% mag+ 25% dex + 15% luck) or i'm mistaken?

Damn spoiler alert lol
gtfo! I had no idea (even though I played FFBE haha). That's good to know, thanks for filling that in

You got me worried for a second because the video says Water Party effect on the vision card instead of Light.
lmao yeah I used the same template from the Tune Up Vision card video I did so I forgot to change that little part, I'm so sorry!
Please do Lara Croft, great video 👍
Nah, Lara's event is almost over, so not helpful content.
the facts that the Quasar gun drop from Thunderedge which is Story for Owe and Swordsmite is amaze me the most. nothing relate to the Event at all 😂
party effects is light, not water bro :D
