I seriously never expected to get this much traction, holy hell. Well, here is the much anticipated Dust Man cover! I hope you enjoy!

the lyrics are so sad and even more when you remember that dust man is a compactor robot,that is like if we chew human flesh and spit it all out,it must be terrifying for megaman to face him but even more terryfing for dust man himself to live like this,awesome music,keep it up the good work
I got the sense that he wouldn’t have to discard so many of his own kind of it weren’t for Mega Man and Wily. There’s certainly some hostility towards Mega over that.

Finally. This is _The Megas: Mega Man 4_ that we never got. Finally. Stellar work. Dust Man has always had an impending dread to him, I'm glad you touched on that, even going as far as to add the "dust to dust" lyric that I always hoped would be in a Dust Man song. Outstanding work.
Dust Man has always been my favorite robot master from MM4 partly because of his theme and partly because of the surprisingly dark implications that his stage brings. With that being said, let me just say that I thoroughly enjoyed this rendition you made. Well done!
I just realized that in the art, Dust Man is basically holding organs.
Man. The inner struggle of a trash compactor robot being forced to literally chew up and spit out the guts and remains of his fellow robots isn’t something I thought Mega Man (especially back in the NES days) would really go into - or even imply.
This cover is so amazing, as it truly expresses the hatred Dust Man has for both his and Mega Man’s existence as metaphorical reapers of the robot kind.

You should do the Mega Man 7 songs after 4. The serious tone you give in your songs would really compliment the overall tone of MM7.

Also I just remembered something bc of another comment,, I would really love it if you covered MM9 at some point, I think given the way you write lyrics you would have a field day with that game bc it has a lot of potential for sad/dark stuff,, that and the mm9 robot masters are my favorites so I would cry regardless subdjsbshaba
My favorite robot master from game 4 has one of the saddest MegaMan based songs I've heard along with 2 from the megas ("the Quick and the blue" and "the haystack principal")

Dust Man is depressing, boss type and stage. But I guess it's because of the situation of what Cossack has been through
So, Dust Man's Stage is Mega Man's version of hell? That's dark if you think about it more deeply.
I mean a scrapyard is the robot version of a graveyard, so makes sense.
Area N from Mega Man ZX is even closer to hell.
Pretty good! Expected cringe when I realized there were vocals, but the singing and lyrics weren't half bad. Has almost a Living Tombstone feel to it. 👌

These lyrics go so damn hard, though I feel like instead of zipping through them to match the melody of the theme, you could add a spin on the theme's pacing to have it hit harder. Like Concrete Heart, Farewell to Loneliness and Smooth as Honey for example c: (I say as you went off on Prayer for the Future). Then again, i'm not a musician, I just feel like somethin feels off and it might be the pacing being too fast to match the ost. Who knows, maybe you'll revisit it one day and i'll still be here waiting c:

Easily my favorite theme and master from MM4.
I'm a bit late to this one, but it consistently amazes me how seamlessly you manage to blend THE most creative lyric writing for game songs I've seen on UA-cam (i'm serious) while also not compromising the fast-paced nature of Mega Man songs in general. You have no idea how happy it makes me to see genuinely incredible Mega Man lyrical covers like this, and I'm always looking forward to any future stuff you have in store, Mega Man related or not.

You know whats funny I pictured and wrote a short crossover with murderdrones and both the MD and WD are distantly based on robot masters I'd picture dustman would probably understand Murderdrones as Carrionbeasts and they understand him as alpha of the trash

Would you mind if I asked what the process is for these kinds of vids. I ask because I’m developing my own mega man theme with lyrics
Sure! I start off by doing the instrumental arrangement. I do midi notations of the melody, countermelody, bassline, and drums. Then I fill out the track with some softer pads and strings. I do all that in garage band.
Then comes the homework. I research words, idioms, and phrases that relate to a robot master. I built Drill Man’s cover around the ‘canary in the coal mine’ metaphor. I just write down tons of fitting words in a list to pull from later when I need it.
By the time I’m satisfied with the instrumentals, I’m very familiar with the track, often getting it stuck in my head for days on end. The melody usually has specific notes that I feel should be a certain vowel like in Dust Man I felt the chorus needed an ‘aye’ sound and that’s where the ‘time won’t remember who dies’ line came from.
Recording itself is an arduous process of warming up, finding the time, mitigating noise, and hoping it turns out alright. More often than not I have to completely re-record to get the sound I want.

Hey, these songs have really inspired me for my own lyrics, but I genuinely can't come up with lyrics. Trying to do MM6 and personally love tomohawk's theme and basing it off of colonization, but I cant think of anything. Do ya know how ya do your lyrics?

Each loop is like 30 second and if I have to think of a way to keep it from getting repetitive I’m going to explode
@@KazeRyve There are others with longer loops, like Acid Man's and Pile Man's themes.
Probably do a slower Acoustic guitar version that's slower paced so you don't have to talk/sing as fast.
I did a slowed version on my SoundCloud, but I might cover it again later!
This is good, but there is something with the words that doesn't match very well, still pretty impresive
So far I'm not liking the mm4 covers as much as your mm11 ones, they're aren't bad but i feel like compared to say mm3 or mm11, mm4s themes are too fast for vocals to tell a story say with your fuse man, tundra man, blast man etc covers or the megas mm3 covers
I’d definitely agree with that. It’s much harder to work with the mm4 melodies than mm11 since there’s lots of runs and quick turnabouts to make the melody engaging. Unfortunately it’s not as natural to sing. I’ve started reducing the tempo slightly, but I might slow it a little more to get a clearer vocal line.
