Hmmm as a kriyaban doing well over 250,000 kriyas that I learned from my preceptor paramahansa yogananda since 2004 I have to say this reverent yogi technique is foreign to me , I will continue doing my kriyas as taught to me , blessings to all who seek truth

There are many paths to the One. Kriya Yoga, from my personal practice and experience, is a faster means to awaken the Kundalini and achieve the uniting of Soul and Spirit. It is a scientific practice and works if one practices it as taught by a genuine master such as Yogananda and SRF, the organization founded by Yogananda.
It IS INDEED the quickest way to God
Faster is usually not better. Slow and steady is better.

Dont like the anchor, the revered yogi is sincerely explaining the lost yogic technique and she is just there laughing it off. Early Indian yogis who went to the West to teach yoga for latter''s benefit had to work real hard among the majority people not taking it seriously, only for the good of humanity. But handful people got lucky who learnt great deal by associating with such highly learned yogis. Respect to all yogis __/\__

Deepa, she is not laughing it off. I did not perceive that from that. When he said “God is the founder” there was nothing inappropriate in her laughter. You also have to accept my dear that not everyone who hears it at first listen will enter samadhi. Hence the necessity of the path. But I would say, try to be a little less judgemental as a kriyaban. “Do not judge so you will not be judged” if I might bring a quote from Jesus. Om Tat Sat.
Quite right this is so deplorable. The consequences are that they don't only deny themselves the benefit of Ihe true knowledge originating from Bharat but their cynicism or trivial attitude towards Yoga can also discourage others who may be swayed by these dim-witted people with very little knowledge or prejudice.

Our soul is part of supreme super soul . We disconnect us moving towards illusions .yoga means connecting our soul to super soul. Breathing technique is one way we come out illusions realise our soul and get connected. So it said controlling inner self.

Anil Kumar Sharma, you have good ideas based on limited knowledge. "oxygen" is just english translation for "prana" or "life force". So oxygen pills won't work.

Hello, friend. Sanatana Dharma and "hinduism" are not the same thing. The latter is a term promoted for the convenience of British colonizers who didn't want to come to terms with the immense diversity of religion in India. Gurudev, born into an observing Brahmin family knows what he is talking about. Still, Kriya yoga and even Patanjali, on their own are nonsectarian until you place them in a partisan box. He was sitting there in that interview with just one purpose which is to spread kriya yoga and he knows stupid belivers will not do it until he clarifies that yoga has nothing to do with any religion or belief system.
He is narrow minded Christian missionary who wants to sell this magnificent Hindu yoga as Christian product. From the comments made in this section, I could see he had already corrupted many minds by using fake Jesus name here. Kriya Yoga purely Hindu in nature. Kriya and yoga both words are Sanskrit. There are many. I have seen light in kriya yoga. We disciples don't make a big deal of it. You can get intiation and see divine light yourself in harihananda lineage.
