I understand the comments delivered however WE LEAD BY EXAMPLE no need to take the low road. Granted reek should've chilled a bit but officers should demonstrate much higher degree of integrity. They are to deescalate and not escalate. My opinion only.
I'm a black guy. Tyreek Hill could have handled that better. I personally, wouldn't have been that difficult. People have to understand that black people are conditioned to be wary and even dislike the police. Just as much as Stephen A. is saying that blacks should be aware, the police should be aware of this fact too. Look, I'm not absolving Hill. He didn't act right. I felt the officer was being irritating and antagonistic by tapping on his window. He didn't need to do that. I've been pulled over 50 plus times in my life and no officer has ever touched the vehicle I was in. In fact, the always kept a bit of distance. The officer could have diffused the situation but I feel like he stooped to Hill's level. He had the license, insurance, and he had Hill stopped. The officer had the upper hand. Why couldn't he just write the ticket and keep it moving? He had an opportunity to be the bigger man and would have made Hill look foolish. Then this could have been a one-sided discussion. Now we end up having opinions on both sides of the story.
I believe Tyreek was disrespectful and felt entitled, at the same time the cop was over the top aggressive. The cop should had been less confrontational.
@AllPurpose well said Sir, there is blame to be had all over. Thirty two years as a cop, retired now. I have been on both ends of this type of incident and have been pulled over, as a citizen who happens to be a cop, Chief of Police at that. Being professional and respectful at all times is the key to having a transaction like this to be non violent or aggressive. Yes, the police behavior needs to be addressed with training and reprimand. Mr. Hill should also go to human relation/diversity training as well. The ideal scenario would be that they all attend training together. Great comments by Mr Smith and Mr. Sharp, and the other gentleman had some great points as well. Thank You.
Dude you in a car with dark tinted windows how do they know what you are reaching for when you won’t even roll down your windows or get out the vehicle!! I’m not defending cops but their life is on the line also just like yours! That’s why compliance will help the situation a lil more than not complying!!
I am a woman and I was ripped out of the passenger side of a vehicle and manhandled to the ground while I was pregnant! Oh yeah...I'm not black... Stop the black victim crap! This crap happens to everyone.
Dominique is straight off base & out of bounds..sounding ridiculous. Cops have to see you, what he wasn't Tryeek and reached for his gun while the window was up & its tinted. 💯💯
Even when you comply with "some" officers they still feel that they are better and above everyone because they have a badge. At the end of the day some of the most dangerous criminals are officers.
Because there is no law saying you have to obey police. They power trip and I have only came across 1 cop with a cool personality the rest were pieces of shit
We have this conversation over and over and over again…and we will continue to have this conversation over and over again…stop resisting the officers and giving them attitude. I figure this out when I was like 10 yrs old. When cops stop me…I do exactly like Shannon. And then we’re both on our way. I have never done what Tyreek did. As a dude, the last thing you want to do…is give another dude an attitude when that other dude is a cop. It’s just basic common sense. Cops always react when you give them attitude. I just don’t understand why these guys can’t figure that out.

There shouldn't be a double standard how a black person should behave when they are pull over compared to a white person. You pull that man over for a seat belt wow. So he was visible if you was able to see him about seat belt violation.
The police were definitely in the wrong, but Tyreek created that situation by being a asshole in the beginning. The energy you give is the energy that you're going to receive.. All he had to do was be cool. Had over your license, and let them do their job, and then be your way. You're going to get attention regardless because you're getting pulled over, and people always look, I know I do, lol. So that excuse doesn't excuse his actions..
The citizen is the citizen.....you are not required to be nice or courteous...it would be nice ....also he can refuse a request.... because it's not a law to have your window up...that's why they could order him out the car....a request isn't an order...but for their safety the will usually order you out of the car... because you denied their request...he was getting out ..he didn't refuse to get out....as you see in the video ...door up leg on the ground complying... and the rest is extreme force
@michaeljoyner6175 Yeah, you have the right to be an asshole blah blah blah. But that doesn't get you anywhere, especially in that situation. He didn't even have his window rolled down when the police walked up, then decided to get mad when the police knocked on the window. You do have to roll window when you're being stopped.. Since when did the police follow the law when it comes to black people?? So, miss me with the politically correct bs. All he had to do was roll the window down, hand over his L's and all of that, roll the window back up if he wanted to, then roll it back down to get all of his stuff back. It's not that hard.. He didn't have to say anything to them. I don't answer any questions.. All of that crap could have been avoided. The police saw a black man in a McLaren they were already hatin. They were looking for a reason. So, all of that, you have a right to do this, and that is fine. You also have a right to stfu. Which will keep you from getting yanked out of the car and slammed on the ground.. I'm not justifying nothing, but you gotta pick your battles...
@@slimdude4450 also there is no law for your windows....just saying....the law states that you must present your documents...no hand them over.....so he could've just placed the documents against the front window.... getting slammed out of the car....while your getting out...was wild...let's not forget he has no outside door handles...so its obvious he opened the door to get out....
@michaeljoyner6175 Right, and when the police told him to roll it back down to get the ticket, he ignored him. Like I said, pick your battles. It's mf's like you that want to argue when you're in the wrong, lol. He was doing 60 mph. So he was breaking the law to begin with, then had an attitude about someone tapping on his window. Knock it off. All of that could have been avoided, period.. Keep that same energy when you get pulled over, and I bet you it'll go the same way as this situation.. I'm not saying bow down to them, but all of that tough shit will hurt you in the long run. I'm gone because clearly you don't see anything wrong with how Tyreek handled that situation..
When an officer approaches a vehicle they have no idea who you are, what you are capable of, why you were driving erratically. And if you don't give them the opportunity to communicate and do their job then it's on you. Tyreek could have settled the situation. Once they dragged him out, everything was on the MDPD!! Both parties failed in this situation in my humble opinion.
TYRICK HAS A RIGHT TO TRAVEL! TYRICK DOES NOT HAVE TO GIVE UP HIS LICENSE BY LAW! TYRICK HAD A RIGHT TO BE READ HIS CHARGE! HE HAD THE RIGHT TO BE FREE FROM UNDO HARASSMENT!
Saying yes sir and no sir is degrading ? Damn wasted all those years of my life thinking I was being respectful to other people but I was actually just degrading myself.
The police ONLY has the power when you commit a crime. No crime was committed therefore, it was an unlawful detainment. Law enforcement, not feelings enforcement. The Constitution is the law of the land and it doesn't hurt to learn and understand these 27 amendments to be informed of your rights.
Its a free country, but Hill wasnt exactly dressed as a professional, didn't act in control, put his tinted window back up, and sort of mouthed off. Additionally, dont tell the cops to stop knocking on your window. They were doing that in response to his behavior. Do I feel the Officers overreacted, absolutely. no one there deescalated the situation, no one.
Moral of the story...make the police feel safe...smh...so since he was not acting like he suppose 2 it give the police the right to use force like that. Instead of just writing the ticket...
Sorry, but I'm tired of people making it a Black issue. This happens to all different people of race. This type of aggressive doesn't happen to Blacks all the time, and it doesn't happen to people of other races either.
It happens to a lot of people because cops have fragile egos. This is a cop issue nation wide. If you have to act as if you encountered a pack of wolves and act submissive then you aren’t dealing with people who should have power.
Quick question for anyone who is defending these cops would they have dragged out put they knees in his back banged on his window if it was Stephen Ross ????????????
There is a video of lil baby being pulled over by the police and he gave his DL and insurance he told the officer that he was a celebrity and did not want to be seen rolled his window back up and the officer didn’t respond the same way he got his ticket and the officer told him how to go about taking of it stop making excuses for these jacked up jealous ass cops who have they own agendas wat if u walked up to a cop car and banged on his window what u think would happen
Why would you disrespect and agitate a police officer because you were wrong for speeding! Who cares if you were late for work! That situation could have been a lot worse because this young man felt like he didn’t have to hear anything that officer was saying!! Young people wake up!!!
Come on man, Can you picture Lebron or Mahomes acting like that with the Police? I can see Ja Morant doing this but seriously. Just roll the window bruh
Why does everything have to be a race issue , lets face it if it was a Caucasian player we wouldn't be having this discussion, Tyreek was wrong, he was speeding, he didnt have his seatbelt on , and he was being arrogant to the officers , yes excessive force was used , both parties were in the wrong , last year Tyreek slapped a guy at the Marina that was swept under the rug
Now we're talking about feelings, feelings, nothing more than feelings. Trying to forget. I was doing 100 mph in a construction zone. You can't pull me over. I'm Tyreek Hill. Don't you know who I am? I play football
As a teenager with a lowrider with tinted windows. I rolled down all my windows. As for not teaching any black people any lessons. Seems like a lesson Tyeek Hill didn't get.
I honestly didn’t see why that happened so fast and crazy. I watch soooo many people who pull sovereign citizen nonsense and have cops give them soooooo much time to comply
AFTER SEEING THIS I SEE WHY THOSE MIAMI RIOTS HAPPENED IN MIAMI IN THE 1980’S AND IN LOS ANGELES IN THE 1990’S! ANOTHER RODNEY KING SITUATION IS BOUND TO HAPPEN!
I’m sorry, That I miss anyone saying there was a possibility that if a white guy was driving and acts and response in exactly the same way that the police officer would of responded in the same way.
Other people argue all the time. It rarely if ever escalates to this point. Like mothers taught their sons to listen to Master after she watched the father being torn apart by two animals pulled in different directions, mothers do the same with their Black sons and police. Blacks must act in fear to survive. Call it what it is. A better platform would have involved giving a breakdown of how Tyreek’s rights were violated according to Florida law.
This is ridiculous. If he would have complied none of that would have happened. This victim mentality when u are a successful rich black man is so immature. Literally was uncooperative and these cops have to protect themselves!! He could have had a gun.
Why does Stephen A. keep going in a different direction? Knowing what they have to deal with has nothing to do with anything. What are the laws in Florida!
But everybody look at it like they messing with Black people now if I was a police officer and I tell you to roll your window down and your windows tainted I don’t know what you doing in there.
Well if you're going to react like the officers in question then its a good thing that you arnt a Cop. Our Tax dollars don't pay Cops to violate constitutional rights they are sworn to defend.
Listen. It drives me nuts that the fact that the cop knocked on the window and then Tyree started giving him attitude about knocking on the window when you should have had the window down. I don't care about his celebrity doesn't matter if the cop knocked on the window and Tyreek said yes officer and that's how it started be it totally different body cam footage. I don't think tyreke is 100% innocent. I'm not talking about the police but this whole segment about how Tyreek Hill is not at fault at all. Is crazy. He was speeding to begin with so fault number one police knock on your window. Give him crazy attitude about it. Fault number two. That's how the whole thing started. Could have started the starting line, not at the middle of the race
100% agree with u. His attitude is what sparked this whole situation. "Don't knock on my window like that.'...what?!! If u had it rolled down he would not have to knock in the 1st place. He then tells him to roll the window down n he ignored him. Like what?! That is y this situation went south. I'm gonna go out on a short limb n bet no1 in tyreeks life will correct him n tell him where he effed up. I am in no shape form or fashion condoning the officers behavior but tyreek instigated it. We dont ever need to give these dudes a reason to be wreckless. They have a gun n a badge n more often than not they already think they above every1 else because of that so just do what they are asking u to do to make the process as smooth as possible for both parties
molly is the worst this man just gave up on his point he specified multiple times that he agrees with Stephen A and understands what he’s saying and this molly girl cuts him off to just repeat it as if he’s disagreeing 😂😂😭😭
Stop acting like it’s everyone, Stephen A. Are you that out of touch? Like the other gentleman stated, this is a private conversation. Other people in the same situation with added sarcasm do not get the same results as Tyreek. His rights were violated. He was pulled over for not having a seat belt on.
Clearly illegal tint on that car! They need to be able to see inside that car. Are so many of you this stupid? You can crack the window only if they can see inside the car.

Maybe 🤷🏾♂️ so the victim holds the blame and the trained peace officer who took an oath to uphold the constitution shouldn’t deescalate or just issue the citation and move on? Interesting 🤔
@johnasmaurice And there it is. "Victim" That's the problem. People break the law and then DONT compy with officers and behave like morons and resist, and so on and so on. And then play the "victim" card. The race card. They need to grow the fuck up! How about that!
I'm a victim. I'm a victim. I'm a victim. I'm a victim and a smart-ass and a smart-ass and non-cooperative and doing something illegal but I'm a victim and I'm Tyreek Hill
I'm Tyreek Hill. Don't tell me what to do
Yep, entitled NFL JOKE!
Tyreek is a victim in this situation
@@jetcrews97 like hell!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah he's not a victim.. he's a clown. You aren't above the law and your smart ass attitude put you in that spot
I am Tyreek Hill..... Hold on Twin... just take your ticket and go
this is how a fool get arrested just follow simple order......
What the fuck are we talking about here? Tyreek Hill responds in this manner to getting pulled over?
IF MR. HILL WOULD'VE FOLLOWED DIRECTIVES WITHOUT BEING A SMART ASS NOTHING WOULD'VE HAPPENED. I AM HISPANIC AND EVEN I KNOW WE HAVE TO FOLLOW THE LAW. OUR AFRICAN BROTHERS SEEM TO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS....
THE OFFICERS ARE ALSO HISPANIC AND THEY ARE D*CKS JUST LIKE YOU MORE BORDER PATROLS SO PEOPLE LIKE YOU AND THEM CAN DO THAT IN YOUR HOME COUNTRIES
Let's get one thing straight. You, as an Hispanic, are NOT brothers to us Africans. You arnt on our side.
I understand the comments delivered however WE LEAD BY EXAMPLE no need to take the low road. Granted reek should've chilled a bit but officers should demonstrate much higher degree of integrity. They are to deescalate and not escalate. My opinion only.
Exactly that's all I'm saying their suppose to be the professionals
Thank You.
The cops have the power but if you want to play the game ...... They'll play it too
All that fool had to do was keep his window down and accept his L for speeding and be on his way.
Spoken like a real dumb azz.
Really how many black men complies and still get murdered fool
He already did.... He already gave them his license 😂
Dude you in a car with dark tinted windows how do they know what you are reaching for when you won’t even roll down your windows or get out the vehicle!! I’m not defending cops but their life is on the line also just like yours! That’s why compliance will help the situation a lil more than not complying!!
So how did he know he didn't have a seatbelt on if he couldn't see him???
@@teamgreats4084he rolled his window down
@@MrAlcline That was my point

🤣😂😂👏🏾
She has to interrupt to be a part of the show LOL They never let her talk!
I am a woman and I was ripped out of the passenger side of a vehicle and manhandled to the ground while I was pregnant! Oh yeah...I'm not black...
Stop the black victim crap! This crap happens to everyone.
White people know so much about being 😢black in America.
@janiebragg8082 Not white. My husband is black and my kids are mixed. Try again.
This is exactly WHY Officer Tatum & The Hodge twins do what they do. You do these sh*t to YOURESELVES!
Dominique is straight off base & out of bounds..sounding ridiculous. Cops have to see you, what he wasn't Tryeek and reached for his gun while the window was up & its tinted. 💯💯
Didn't a White Golfer go through the same thing against black officers lol
You don't even know his name sht up opposite guy
Even when you comply with "some" officers they still feel that they are better and above everyone because they have a badge. At the end of the day some of the most dangerous criminals are officers.
Back then people respected and complied to orders of police officers. Now a days people don't, so what changed?
Nothing to respect about police officers. This is how they react when their fragile egos get hurt.
He should have complied instead of rolling his window back up.
It's not a law ... 😂
That’s why he got jacked up playa!
A broke Mofo hit the window on your 300K vehicle. How do you respond? Call the police? Ohhh
He had visibility because he saw Tyrek seat belt wasn't on....SAS and UNC sounding like some newly freed slaves on this topic, SMH
After he rolled the window down genius!
@@johnb5164 u can see Tyrek thru the window from the body can so u know the officer had an even better view 🍆head...no radar gun...is this a seat belt ticket or speeding...can u not take off your seat belt before the officer approach the vehicle?
@@ugmfuent.7019so SAS and Shannon just supposed to take the side of a spoiled brat like Tyreek because he's black?? White people can't act like he did either. There's real victims of police abuse and Tyreek ain't one of them.
When the window was down he saw. When the windows were up he cant see. use common sense.
There shouldn't be a double standard how a black person should behave when they are pull over compared to a white person. You pull that man over for a seat belt wow. So he was visible if you was able to see him about seat belt violation.
As an officer it is your responsibility to deescalate a situation.
THIS DID NOT HAPPEN HERE!👈🏿😲
The police were definitely in the wrong, but Tyreek created that situation by being a asshole in the beginning.
@@slimdude4450 he already gave him is documentation.....and he rolled his window after
@@slimdude4450 also there is no law for your windows....just saying....the law states that you must present your documents...no hand them over.....so he could've just placed the documents against the front window.... getting slammed out of the car....while your getting out...was wild...let's not forget he has no outside door handles...so its obvious he opened the door to get out....
This post is the most rational I've seen here. Well done, Sir.
NOW WHAT DID TYRICK DO WRONG?! HE POSED NO THREAT! HE WAS NOT GIVING A CHANCE TO OBEY THE COP’S ORDER!
All tyreek had to do was keep his window down and accept the ticket but instead he wants 😂act like an asshole and act like a smart ass
And if he WASN'T TYREEK HILL. The police officers, would have KILLED HIM.
Why was he committing a felony driving over 100 miles per hour on that highway???
Both sides are wrong. Tyreek & the cops. Steven A is 👍🏼 right
That man did not commit no crime but a speeding ticket there's no need for all that Tyreek Hill sue the police just like I said
These guys are delusional, the cops are on a power trip and don't care about your race, just your obedience.
The police ONLY has the power when you commit a crime. No crime was committed therefore, it was an unlawful detainment. Law enforcement, not feelings enforcement. The Constitution is the law of the land and it doesn't hurt to learn and understand these 27 amendments to be informed of your rights.
MOLLY PLEASE SIT THIS ONE OUT 🤫🤫🤫🤫
Molly needs to keep her foot out of her mouth.
@@aboutboxingbiz1684 how dare you use common sense 😂
Yep police abuse their power..I'm white and been treated worse for less..it's a power thing not a color thing
It happens to a lot of people because cops have fragile egos. This is a cop issue nation wide. If you have to act as if you encountered a pack of wolves and act submissive then you aren’t dealing with people who should have power.
How fo you know ?
Quick question for anyone who is defending these cops would they have dragged out put they knees in his back banged on his window if it was Stephen Ross ????????????
There is a video of lil baby being pulled over by the police and he gave his DL and insurance he told the officer that he was a celebrity and did not want to be seen rolled his window back up and the officer didn’t respond the same way he got his ticket and the officer told him how to go about taking of it stop making excuses for these jacked up jealous ass cops who have they own agendas wat if u walked up to a cop car and banged on his window what u think would happen
Totally agree with Shannon and Steve
All yall people should learn how to act when getting pulled over for going 100mph in construction zone
not wearing seatbelt
Love sas on this there both in the wrong everybody saying Tyriek did nothing wrong is crazy af
Why would you disrespect and agitate a police officer because you were wrong for speeding! Who cares if you were late for work! That situation could have been a lot worse because this young man felt like he didn’t have to hear anything that officer was saying!! Young people wake up!!!
Steven A is lieing.. He did not hesitate to give his license, he didn't hesitate to roll down his window, and he didn't hesitate to get out the car..
Lying, not lieing.
Come on man, Can you picture Lebron or Mahomes acting like that with the Police? I can see Ja Morant doing this but seriously. Just roll the window bruh
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯!!!!!!
Shannon started his segment then decides to agree with Stephen A. Damn bruh, how much do you owe him?
Ouch! My knee surgery! Take it easy! Nevermind I'm about to run around and get thumped by guys twice my size!!! Ow!! Watch my knee!!!😆😆
The problem is people think the police can do anything they want especially to black people got to fix the racism
So this is why Max kellerman needs to be on the show because he's way more black than Stephen A
Dominic and Stephen A with their race baiting take. Unreal. This isn't always a "black" thing.
They were both at fault, he was a bonified asshole, and cops were way overly aggressive, even crossing some legal lines.
Now we're talking about feelings, feelings, nothing more than feelings. Trying to forget. I was doing 100 mph in a construction zone. You can't pull me over. I'm Tyreek Hill. Don't you know who I am? I play football
Stop reaching he didn't listen to the police he's not special
As a teenager with a lowrider with tinted windows. I rolled down all my windows. As for not teaching any black people any lessons. Seems like a lesson Tyeek Hill didn't get.
I honestly didn’t see why that happened so fast and crazy. I watch soooo many people who pull sovereign citizen nonsense and have cops give them soooooo much time to comply
THE POLICE APPROACHED THE CAR WRONG? They acted like it was a felony traffic stop!
TYRICK HILL HAD HIS HANDS ON THE STEERING WHEEL EVEN WITH THE WINDOWS UP BECAUSE HE KNEW HOW THIS COPS WERE!
AFTER SEEING THIS I SEE WHY THOSE MIAMI RIOTS HAPPENED IN MIAMI IN THE 1980’S AND IN LOS ANGELES IN THE 1990’S!
ANOTHER RODNEY KING SITUATION IS BOUND TO HAPPEN!
Espn is digusting they chose the perfect clips to give tyreek a victim image, he started all
With their logic, I guess police should show up at football game and tell football player and announcer how to play and do their job.😂😂😂😂😂😂
Deescalate deescalate is always taught in officer training! Why do certain officers F it up?! Why?
YOU SERVE THE PUBLIC; NOT THE PUBLIC SERVE YOU!
Hill acted like a spoiled rich nfl player who thinks the law doesn't apply to him. His behavior sucks
The FBI agents nobody, get your drivers licenses and registration now do it, Tyree hill
Steven A needs to learn what policing laws are. I hate his double mind. It’s not a requirement to roll the window all the way down.
Hill was a jerk. Cop overreacted.
@@King_Of_Clubz its always the scariest dudes wanting to be law enforcement knowing they cant handle the pressure
Tyreek need to chill. Keep the Window down, you don't even have to get out the car..
molly is the worst this man just gave up on his point he specified multiple times that he agrees with Stephen A and understands what he’s saying and this molly girl cuts him off to just repeat it as if he’s disagreeing 😂😂😭😭
Stop acting like it’s everyone, Stephen A. Are you that out of touch? Like the other gentleman stated, this is a private conversation. Other people in the same situation with added sarcasm do not get the same results as Tyreek. His rights were violated. He was pulled over for not having a seat belt on.
He should’ve never rolled window all the way down just crack it, keep doors locked. Police hate the word NO!
Clearly illegal tint on that car! They need to be able to see inside that car. Are so many of you this stupid? You can crack the window only if they can see inside the car.
victim not at all.....dude was speeding motorcycles was on his ass, and he felt privilege.....then it got out of hand.
Here you go again bringing the race card. This is in Miami them cops were doing their job. He was another rich person, black, or white or any color that he was above the law come on now.
Race has nothing to to do with this. Stop pulling that card it's old
BEST take of Stephen a ‘s career. I have no idea what that other guys trying to say that “everyone knows to be respectful to the police… It’s clear that the football player pushed the envelopes of police officers that already tend to have more of that ego and sometimes understandably so when you’re dealing with nonstop hard situations on a day-to-day basis. The other guy, I don’t know his name got it wrong here and Stephen and Shannon Sharpe are right on the money. Private conversation? Like seriously.
This guys his a sad case for a respectful person, he’s never gonna agree that tyreek had any fault. Sad sad sad
