The reason the bonus art is just images from the show without aspects is probably because they’re the raw detailed images without the animated layers placed on top of them
As a fellow spongebob/spongebob game fanatic I’d like to see a “Licensed SpongeBob Games Iceberg” video made someday lol All your context is amazing and I love it, please keep doin what you’re doing
btan has made videos on Atlantis Squarepantis and Truth or Square, now he needs to complete the trilogy with the a video on Revenge of the Flying Dutchman…
I played this game on the DS as a kid! It was definitely pretty different compared to the home console versions.. but I remember really liking it! That minigame with Squidward playing his clarinet definitely kicked my 7 year old ass though LOL
@@btanman thank you I appreciate it! I did see that all the music was in the description but I was having trouble finding which one it specifically was. Really good videos btw I love ur stuff!! Ur so underrated! Keep up the great work
Understandable, I would add timestamps for them but then it messes up with the chapter titles (though now you've got me thinking of ways to fix this for the future, I'm gonna have to look into that!)
UPDATE: Ignore what idiot past me just said, there should be a pastebin online now w/ timestamps in the description. I'm gonna work on hopefully including this from now on. Thank you for the suggestion!
Yep! For some reason, basically any SpongeBob game is drastically different on a handheld or console. I'm guessing just hardware limitations, but it's kinda funny how the handhelds seem to always have the more fun games lol
While the concept has more or less faded from the public mainstream(outside of some particularly famous examples like Sonic Unwiished), multiple games of the same name was actually nothing strange at all back in the day. For Spongebob for instance, there are literally three games called "Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom".
If I remember correctly I was actually gonna use some music from Pit People (made by the same team), but I ended up using like the one actually copyrighted song in the game, so had to find something else
The game barely runs on the PS2 release and has a weird, bleak feel to it the whole way through. I'd barely call it mid LOL It'd make a funny video for sure. I'd consider the movie game mid, or slightly above when compared to some others. BFBB is 👌
I MADE IT BY CHRISTMAS OH MY GOD
FIRST!!!
your videos are great bro pls keep em coming
The reason the bonus art is just images from the show without aspects is probably because they’re the raw detailed images without the animated layers placed on top of them
9:03 DID SPONGEBOB JUST DAB!?
nope
lmao i thought you meant the first frame of the animation

Your videos are crazy underrated, great content as always!

True, and bfbb
yes, he needs to do rotfd
I wish there wasn’t forced enemy murdering sections in this game tbh.
I would *love* to see a video on DS Truth and Square especially. That game was my childhood :P
I played it too and it wasn’t too, I remember the yellow avenger more
W video like all ways bro marry Christmas
This video is so amazing the intro was amazing the editing was great this video really was great
you are now my favorite channel
congratulations!
amazing and hilarious video :D
the editing style, music choices, and commentary is awesome! keep it up man!
13:47 I was enjoying the video, but now I have to wait until December to finish it 😂😂
9:03 DID SPONGEBOB JUST DAB???
I played this game on game pass a while back and I loved it! Me and my brother thought the random “concept art” was hilarious XD
Quickly becoming one of my favorite channels.
super nostalgic game for me, played the hell out of it when i was younger
Merry late Christmas! This video was amazing!
Wild that then DS version of this is also a 3d platformer
I honestly can't wait to see your future SpongeBob videos!
Also Merry Late Christmas!
This game is so nostalgic AHH
i love your editing dude, your channel will be going places!
27:35 I just noticed the background music, is that the theme of Ren and Stimpy? It sounds a bit like it but different
Nope! That'd be "Gerudo Valley" from Smash Ultimate
(music used is in the pastebin link in the description if you're curious about any others btw)
@@btanman oh, okay! Thanks!
Does not sound similar at all....
@@absolutemaniac7368 that’s why I said it sounds a BIT like it but different.
I just got all the regular heads in Battleblock Theater today, not the special ones because I started playing more recently, and I got ptsd from 26:22

The "plot: could be the party being recent memories. Thus a hub
11:04 that was hilarious since i was eating toast and that WAS my reaction
I always wanted to play this game but it wasn't on the playstation 3. glad to know I wasn't missing too much
Same. 😢
love this channel
At least it isn't straightforwardly bad like "SpongeBob heropants", fun fact i played both of these games.
Heavy Iron was underrated.
0:04 ... you really didn't have to say that...
Once on my birthday I got plankton’s robotic revenge, I had lots of fun. Now I can’t stand a single level, the fun aged poorly I guess.
Ok, but the idea of an explorative platformer with Metroidvania mechanics in the SpongeBob universe is fiiiire
18:54 SQUIDWARD IS FRENCH CONFIRMED
Does anyone else notice that bowsers inside story's music is used often in multiple gameplay/game review video?
7:47 squid marks.
the live viewer reaction had me giggling
punch out
5:39 what song is this? It slaps
That's "It's Kill or Be Killed" from No More Heroes 2 (the entire ost slaps lol)
(music used is always in the description if you are ever curious btw)

@@btanman I appreciate you tackling that issue so quickly! Your speedy fix didn't go unnoticed, and I'm super grateful for the hustle!
Spongebob's voice cooks my brain
I remember being really young and playing this game all the time cause my grandpa got me and my sibling it and for some reason I loved it 💀
SpongeBob is iconic and BIG but oh man I never watched that episode I kinda forgot that episode existed lol.
because the episode is shit
Nice, another amazing btan vid
wtf... i had the ds game and it was nothing like that

🙏‼️‼️
Pausing halfway through the video cause btan told me to, smh. Gotta wait another 7 months.
I loved this game?
Pretty based using battleblocks theater music.
If I remember correctly I was actually gonna use some music from Pit People (made by the same team), but I ended up using like the one actually copyrighted song in the game, so had to find something else
@@btanman fair enough, love the content dude.
I had that
the ds version is as good as this version
btw the thigh squidward boss is also in the ds version
do revenge of the flying dutchman because it's mid
