I’m a grown man who was sitting there with tears running down my face several times during this movie. I can only think of one other movie that had that kind of impact on me in my life (21 Grams). Criminally underrated movie that Shia made.

Thats f*ck3d up man....gotta love modern societies with their double standards, its a joke at this point. "motherly aura, innocent, playing games like children..." haha alright, everybody got their own opinion. It seems so bizarre to me that Shia could make such a self-reflective movie on his PTSD and behaviour and then immediately finish this shoot and try to murder FKA Twigs (the woman in this video)?!?!?!! Like I remember walking out of the cinema feeling so amazed at this film and how Shia really understands DV and is here for the victims when in reality he IS the abuser! @@QuinnTheChin It's an important piece of text and vital to those involved in the program (aka AA, NA, etc). It wasn’t Shia, it was the creepy director who pressured him into writing a screenplay after reading his therapy notes and also likes making movies about little boys who don’t wear shirts.
Great movie! But definitely doesn’t make Shia a better person since he still is an ass. This could’ve been his redemption like how Richard Gadd made Baby Reindeer to come to terms with the trauma his stalker put on him.
