I really appreciate you playing the same lines with the same type of articulation in order to have a true comparison. Thank you again for putting this together! I think I’m leaning towards the FDV pickups instead of the Super Fatties that I was initially considering.
Nice comparison John. This confirms what I found out through experimentation. I bought some FD3’s from you to put into my Z3 for kicks and took them back out, I like the FDV’s much better.

That’s a good way to put it. They have more mids which makes them sound more congested.

The FDVs seem more articulate across the board, less nasal/congested. I'm pretty set on swapping my stock fd3ns in my combustion 6 for fdvs
