Thanks for your comment. I didn't intend to accurately recreate the real-life SEQ/Brisbane City rail network, it's more of a tour in my Transport Fever 2 map from the driver's cab view. And also the map isn't on a 1:1 scale with real life. It's more of a creative representation.
Well done Jo on capturing every detail it looks so realistic. Would you think it would go to TSW4. In history of TSW4 it will be the first Queensland Rail network
Thanks for comment. Funnily enough, I didn't intend to accurately recreate the real-life SEQ/Brisbane City rail network, it's more of a tour in my Transport Fever 2 map from the driver's cab view. And also the map isn't on a 1:1 scale with real life. It's more of a creative representation.
Did you create the map or get it off the workshop? I have a Brisbane map in CitiesSkylines but not sure if I want to go through the whole heartache of creating again ...
Yeah, I created the map from scratch and uploaded it to the workshop. I used topographical data of Brisbane's terrain to make it. It was quite a process, but I'm happy with how it turned out!
Is it possible to add the giant png of the place over the map? in Cities Skylines it is a normal practice to do that when you creating ultra realistic maps. I even done that in SM when I did a youtuber's home. I can see misplaced roads and river. Also how long had you spend creating this map? Looks like a ton of job.

And also the map isn't on a 1:1 scale with real life. It's more of a creative representation. By the way, there's a mod that lets you import real-world data into Transport Fever 2 (check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/fxhXsaQyY-s/v-deo.html). Hope that clears things up!
In that case, I should say that you have really good memory and feel of space. I was able to compare the landscape with s map. Actually cool rail, but why maybe half of the way is single track?
@@automation7295No, I made some of the line single track to save on track as the trains are timetabled down that they will leave once the other train had arrived
Yep, I created both the map and the train featured in the video-it's the Queensland Rail InterCity Express. If you're interested, I've got a more in-depth video about it here 😉 ua-cam.com/video/cPafnCRLDsc/v-deo.html"
This map is awesome! Also I still can't get over how realistic you made the ICE.
I like to see Corinda to Shorncliffe route be added to Train Sim World 4 and Queensland Rail Trains would be awesome
This is cool, with stations names I recognise. I don't ever recall Bowen Hills looking that good though :)
Not bad at all mate, I'm normally not into fictional railways but this looks fantastic
Now this is EPIC!
Ahh the tennyson loop
It went express through tennyson to corindia

@@racerbest3419 I guess some areas of the railway might still be a single track in real life?
@@automation7295 (I don't think so. This is a public transport, so trains might have pretty short windows between each other.)

None of that even looks like Brisbane!! I grew up on the Shorncliffe line! Everything in that video is wrong!!
