It is a genuine shame the way Haynes legacy will be remembered because of off field incidents. whenever Greg Inglis’s name is mentioned they always say “future immortal” yet he never won a dally M and hayne won 2. They only facet that Inglis surpassed hayne in is titles and origin series wins. He was part of easily the best origin team ever for basically his whole career and all of his nrl titles bar one (souths) are questionable at best because Melbourne were stripped of 2 titles for salary cap rorting. So I ask you, Who had the better individual career and who is more deserving of immortal status?? You don’t become an immortal because you are part of great teams. Otherwise they’d immortalize the team and not the individual. I dunno. Maybe hayne being an immortal is a stretch but if that’s the case Inglis certainly don’t deserve it
