I did a starter emergency fund (EF) of 3 months, then worked on CC debt and now I’m married and together we’re working on building up the EF to 6 months. Next is a home down payment
I am so grateful I found your videos … I started YNAB last month and I couldn’t get the hang of it !!! I started watching your videos and you kept me on track . I have adhd also and I thought I am never going to get this ! I am 58 yr old single woman and I got to get my 💩 together !!! Thank you for being you! It’s like listening to myself explain a budget !!! Fan for life ! Thank you ! ❤
thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinion! as I'm starting my wealth building journey I also had the vague feeling that $1k was not enough for emergencies, and that there are other priorities that could be more important than just paying debt for various reasons. I've been thinking that I'll feel much more secure, too, if I have two or three months of expenses saved, and then I will tackle debt. Maybe I'll even alternate between a debt payoff goal and a month of saved expenses goal. Thanks for sharing and explaining your thinking so well!
Absolutely the best financial advise!! 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 I'm amazed that you can multitask so well...offering the best most consise info, keeping your cat fron destroying your plants and putting on your makeup! 😆 ....and the lipstick 💄 🤣
I'm planning on paying off my student loans since thankfully now I make more than I owe, and can't go for PSLF. But I'm using the debt avalanche method, so when I get down to the sub 6% interest loans, I may let off the gas a little and pay less extra than I am right now, when I replace my car. Getting my car repo'd would have a much higher impact on my life than paying no more than the minimum on my loans for a while.
I just joined your membership this morning. thanks for all this helpful advice. I took one of your many advice. have seen in a lot of your videos I. have watched already. and that was what I did 10 days ago. on starting to pay for my monthly gym membership with auto pay. its been a lot easier.
Do you have recommendations for high yield savings accounts somewhere/in a video you can direct me to? I appreciate your perspective and it’s totally shifted my mindset about my debt being morally neutral 😊
I hope this coming Monday you will. do a video. of vacation expenses and budgeting for it. and doing make up Monday. I enjoyed seeing how you did your make up as well as seeing and hearing of your money advice.
OMG thank you for this question because I completely forgot to list the products! I've updated it in the description box now! I mix the Revlon Colorstay Foundation with the Colourpop Tinted Moisturizer. But that's because I have REALLY dry skin. So even just the Revlon Colorstay on it's own is gorgeous!

Payday loans-borrow $600. Two weeks later pay back $675. Have to take $600 out again to survive, pay back two week later $675…repeat.
