High Altitude Crystal Pocket Appalachian Mountains North Carolina Gemstones

Hi my name is Graham with HighCountryRocks. I'm always looking to find some kind of new locality to find crystals or minerals in. Half the fun of gem mining and rock hounding is the hunt. This hobby is not always successful it is so it very rewarding when everything comes together. This is a compressed quartz vein I've located in the High Country of Western North Carolina. I started finding little crystallized pockets of quartz crystals in the compressed vein. I also started discovering other associated minerals. Fluorite cubes, calcite, molebonite and pyrite have been the minerals showing up most frequently with the quartz crystals. Part 1
Prospecting a compressed quartz vein in discoved some really aesthetical quartz crystals . These crystals came out of the first few small vugs and pockets discovered at this new spot.
Part 2
Exposing more of the vein. We start pulling crystals out of the pocket mud with a surprise of a gem clear sky blue fluorite ocahedron at the end after figuring out the quartz vein.
Part 3
This is crystal explosion. Opening a pocket from the start of the video pulling out double terminated citrine crystal points. Cubes of fluorite and calcite. Gold Healers and seeing more potential for the future.
Part 4
Is a catch up and cleaning of previous extractions in videos showing some of the crystals and plates after they have been cleaned up. The quartz has been double terminated with inclusions and coatings. This has been a unique vein because all the crystals have formed with different terminations and crystalized faces.
