  • Today we pay a special tribute to those unique individuals we call our mothers. They have given us life on this earth, and their influence has transformed our lives. We will consider a woman from the Old Testament who became the mother of the prophet Samuel. Her name is Hannah and her name means favor or grace. Despite difficult circumstances, Hannah was shown favor by God. Let’s glean some insight from this wonderful woman as we honor our own moms today.
This teaching is from our Mother's Day Messages with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Albuquerque.

God is so good! I had a miscouraged. God planned that we were not to have a child . I belong to a family of God’s servants. My Dad was a very passionate Missionary/ Pastor who served the Lord and served the Lord until he was 87 yrs old .we moved all over the Philippines every 2 years. Everytime the Holy Spirit called my dad to go somewhere yo plant a church, we would leave our belongings , give the furniture to those who need them and just go to a new place. God always provided abs we never got sick . God gave us the most beautiful blessings and life . My dad and mom showed us how much God is so real when you live by Faith because you have not even thought about it yet , God already provided . My mom was a RN and I never heard her complain everytime we lived. She was the bread runner while daddy just lived to preach and planted pioneer churches . I went to different schools and met wonderful and not so wonderful children but I also learned to lean on Jesus early.
Do you know, now that I’m 67 yO, I realized that Oue Holy And precious God had answered all my dreams and wishes all through these years, even the ones in childhood dreams.
My dad always reminded us that Romans 8:28 is for everything . Including why God has not given me children. It’s because God had blessed my life so that I could support His work and churches through my Dad and Brother ( who is also a faithful missionary) . No I love children ( I used to be a teacher before I became a Nurse like my mom) but that is not God’s plan for me . If I would have had children, then I could not be able to support God’s work as I did or still do . God is providing me with extended families and just blessings after blessings to bless others. So at 65, I’m still a full time RN and enjoying God strength he bestows upon me everyday.. I am weak but he is strong and I love to tell my Oncoligy patients about Jesus and How wonderful And mighty He is as our blessed redeemer is. So to Him be the glory for your message Pastor Skip. It’s not the children who takes care of their parents anyway… it’s God who takes care of us totally if we just totally surrender our total trust in Him!
To Him be all our glory . Don’t waste any time fretting on what we don’t have. Use and give that time praying and witnessing to others. That’s what my dad would say.

You have a phone call....it is 70s Broadway Musicals. They said they want their Orphanages back.
Mothers are being robbed of their children. When you find out it is true, it is too late to do anything because noone will listen to you. Americans need to care. Stop these hateful people who decide to undermine Gods choice for mother of the children. Before you go comparing mothers to dogs, not sure what that comment was for, think about how the Dogs babies get ripped away from them one by one or all at once and it is never their choice. Consider that they rarely ever have one at a time. My mini daschund has 6. Consider that often, like with my girl, the smallest(the runt) does not survive.💔. Consider that if the male dog that fathers the pups is very much larger than the mom, the mom will likely not survive the birth, as her womb literally outgrows her. Moms are very committed, it is people telling them they are not good enough or tricking them into thinking someone else would give their child a better life, not that all moms are perfect. But your mom is your mom, flaws and all. Just as her love most closely displays God's Iove, unconditional, kids should always love their mom, imperfections and all. We should be building mothers up, instead of cutting them down.
