Scripture: 1 Kings 3:16-27
Having her living baby switched in the middle of the night for a dead baby, the harlot
awoke from her slumber in shock. After further examination she then realized that the
dead baby wasn't the baby she'd birthed. After going through many obstacles she finally
stands in front of King Solomon and pleads her case. Solomon hears the stories of
each harlot and decides to use his wisdom, that he asked God for, for the first time. He
created a "test of motherhood" by grabbing a sword and he decided to split the baby
in two. The real mother sacrificed what she wanted for what was best for the child and
said "Give her the child, and by no means kill him", but the other woman said "divide
him". Seeing that the real mother was willing to suppress her wants for what was best
for the child, King Solomon granted the living baby to the woman who birthed him. We
can see that the ultimate expression of Magnificent Motherhood is sacrifice

I sacrificed years of not doing for myself to make sure my child was okay!

I am trying to fight for my babies back from angry husband n parents. I need help my kids have lost their faith they feel God did this to them. I hope I get the strength and wisdom to do this for my kids I need to know what to do

Mr. Wesley, thanks for your lively presentation. May I ask two questions? Why do you think that Solomon was sure that the soldier would not kill the baby? And halfway through vs. 26, why didn't the woman who had been falsely claiming to be the real mother, continue her lie by saying "Yes, I'm glad you are offering to give me the baby. I will take it, because I am the real mother" ?
Three jobs at one time. BUT God!!!
Can God save someone convicted of treason by the government? Can they be forgiven and go to heaven?
