The Labadi beach incidents were awful and I wish you didn't allow them to get away with it once, much more twice. These are the people bringing the name of Ghana into disrepute and they must be outed and shamed! It is true that generally, customer service in Ghana lags behind western standards; but restaurants don't engage in this blatant scam you experienced. Shameful!

@@ladyshakari Sadly, what you probably haven't watched are videos about Ghana where people go out of their way to help visitors and show them true hospitality. Negatives sell, unfortunately! Why put this burden on a sister who just arrived in the country? If our political leaders don't know about these challenges in Ghana, what makes them qualified to lead the country? I think you are not quite right on the land/property purchase situation in Ghana. The legal procedures are just as good as the US/UK if you engage the right professionals. Always, always, always engage a property attorney. I don't know why people follow UA-camrs advice instead. Lawyers cost money, but will save money in the long run. Also hassle/stress free. Engage a lawyer everytime.
Nobody had to follow my advice. In the United States we don’t need to always always find the right anything. It’s a process legally that is followed and can be rectified instantly. That is not here in Ghana. We are going to be honest on my channel. So you saying that speak warning that you don’t have to do else where.
It’s true - in the states, you don’t always need an attorney to purchase property. If you have access to a title company, they have attorneys on site to facilitate the process. The title company acts as a third party so there’s no confusion on the sale, they even hold the money during the due diligence period. The seller and buyer just need to sign agreement(s) noting that you’re selling the property at a certain price and to who. The system is in place where it’s very easy to verify who owns the land and can be done in less than 2 weeks. The due diligence period here is making sure there are no liens and bad things going on with the property not about WHO owns the property. Many folks aren’t aware of those differences so yes, it’s a more difficult to buy land in Ghana without professionals like attorneys so as a foreigner it’s a different experience than the U.S., for example.
@@Mz.BahamianGoddess I was not necessarily referring to you. I am sure the message you are sending out there is useful, but please encourage your viewers to engage a lawyer in addition to the service/advice you offer.
