Excellent flying. 😉 The smile behind the moustache gave away that it was your father indeed. The Extreme Gene is strong in your family.. 😎 Great cinematics..!
Chris - Great work as always!! Loved it. Your Dad knows how to put a ski on edge and make that baby carve! Former ski racer? And of course you cinematography is worthy of a 1M+ sub channel.
He's a great skier but doesn't always have to move back and forth so much. Sometimes it's more fun to just see your surroundings and enjoy the ride. I miss skiing.....i should get back into that soon. Thanks for the Awesome video Chris and Dad. :)
I watch a lot of film making channels on UA-cam for the technical info, but nothing makes me WANT to learn more than watching the videos Chris Prouse posts. 💕
Thanks Kasey! For a long time we use to make a new ski vid each year for Tremblant's season opener... so lots of practice, and lots of great memories out there :)
Awesome video! Great combination of cinematography and skiing, two of my favorite hobbies. Enjoy skiing with your dad! I have skied twice at Tremblant with my daughter and both times were awesome experiences! Both trips were in January though, and the temp remained below 0° F the entire trip. It was too cold to record any video with my GoPro camera, the batteries died in short order. I would like to go again when it's slightly warmer.
nice video the best part is spending time with your DAD . I did not think your videos could get any more awsome then you pull this one with you Dad you are awsome
This takes "family movies" to another level. 💙 From 0:20 to 0:30 are my favorite parts- it's like the best part of a superhero movie. Goosebumps! 😍 PS...would you share what camera you used? I couldn't tell from the reflections in the ski glasses, and it's not mentioned in the description. All I could see was that it was on a gimbal of some sort. Thank you!
Thanks Sloyfa! So glad to hear! This was filmed on a GH5 that Panasonic Canada kindly lent to me, with their 12-60mm f3.5-5.6 lens, on a PilotFly 3-Axis gimbal. I should mention there was also quite a bit of additional stabilization applied in post-production to take out little jitters in the image, though Panasonics's Dual IS was still a great place to start from! I've since bought one of their G9's, which has virtually identical 8-bit 4K24 & 4K60, and an additional stop of stabilization over the GH5 :)
Funny someone else mentioned James Bond. My first thought was he skis like James Bond with a pack of cold war Russians on his tail. LOL. Cold day but awesome skiing.
this is superb! but I'm always happy with a nice campfire in the snow. You guys have some more winter adventures on the way? I love it all! You make it look effortless and I know it is not. cheers Paul from B and H land!
Amazing Title and edit and eeeverything! I think you did it, even beyond a human drone! Maybe if you had a paraglider you could go even one step further haha. thanks!
MY friend ! GREAT JOB ! You need nobody to inspire you ! ... YOU ALREADY GREAT ! YOUR UA-cam CHANNEL IS GREAT !!! JUST KEEP GOING !!!! BELIEVE IN YOURSELF MORE !!! and thanks for your video ... Advice : DO MORE DIFFERENT ANGLE :)
Gutsy move, especially with the sideways shots! Really smooth, if I were trying to follow someone I would be doing all sorts of emergency oops turns and the video would not look that good lol. did you have to snowplow for some of it?
Video and music were awesome! Good job filming while keeping up with your dad too. I also watched your video from big white. Just wondering how it compares to tremblant in your opinion and if you prefer one over the other?
Thanks so much Andrew! That's a good question - Tremblant tends to be more of a carving mountain that's groomed often, and Big White tends to get a lot more powder... I'd say I love them both for those reasons. Tremblant has a lot more to offer families with the huge resort village, though Big White has that awesome powder bowl in back, so it's a tough call :)
Excellent flying. 😉 The smile behind the moustache gave away that it was your father indeed. The Extreme Gene is strong in your family.. 😎 Great cinematics..!
Awe! Thanks so much Rudy! :)

Thanks Bernard! Yeah, dad put me on skis at 2 and a half - taught me everything I know about skiing :)
The equipment looks like it's come a long way since the last time I was on skis; 50+ years ago. Great video Chris.
Thanks Harold! :)
Fantastic film work and even better editing, great job really enjoy your posts.
He's a great skier but doesn't always have to move back and forth so much. Sometimes it's more fun to just see your surroundings and enjoy the ride. I miss skiing.....i should get back into that soon. Thanks for the Awesome video Chris and Dad. :)

Glad to hear! Thanks Gary! :)
this makes those old james bond movies look ancient. Are you an award winning film maker? if not, just keep on going, it will happen.
Haha, thank you! :)

Love it! I want to be in your family 🙂
Thanks Tina! :)
This "human drone' did a great job! I would crash like million times if I were film and skiing at the same time lol
Amazing Title and edit and eeeverything! I think you did it, even beyond a human drone! Maybe if you had a paraglider you could go even one step further haha. thanks!
Батя у вас крутой чувак! В Москве гор нет. Зато много катков. Люблю играть в хоккей 🏒. Спасибо за видео👍
Thanks for watching! :)

Nice day with your Dad....He sure can ski..........T.Gunz.......
Thanks Tommy! :)
Gutsy move, especially with the sideways shots! Really smooth, if I were trying to follow someone I would be doing all sorts of emergency oops turns and the video would not look that good lol. did you have to snowplow for some of it?
Superb! Chris, what gimbal where you using? Strapped to your chest or hand held
That smile was you, just a little bit more hair to come with it! :) He seems to be born in the slopes! Thanx for the energy boost!
Haha, thanks for watching Elisabeth! :)
Video and music were awesome! Good job filming while keeping up with your dad too. I also watched your video from big white. Just wondering how it compares to tremblant in your opinion and if you prefer one over the other?

Chris Prouse Thank you Chris! :)
woooooooooooooow
Joe Robinet Sent Me ✌️
Holy smokes, you and your dad can shred! The list of things you guys can't do is getting smaller every video.
OMG, is there anything you can’t do. Filming at that speed while skiing, wow. I can’t even stand up on the bunny hill on skis.
Thanks for watching Derek! :)
i would love to spend a day with you 🙂😏
sorry its not my thing
No worries - you don't have to watch if you're not into skiing. Hope that wasn't your thumbs down that just came in :)
