Can't think of anywhere else I can hear John Luther Adams and Slayer in the same video. Appreciation of all music seems so rare in my world, this was a great find.
Great video Chris! I really like how you visualized the harmonics. As an (electric) guitarist, I do believe, there is a relation between the overtones of an instrument that makes instruments sound similar. For example take the saxophone and the distorted/saturated electric guitar. I might be wrong about that. But if I‘m right I‘d love a video from you about that. On a side note: It was either Jimi Hendrix playing Purple Haze or Prince playing Purple Rain OR there is a Hendrix performance that I really do need to know about 😉

agreed on the overtone similarities. and yes, old man brain. i guess if it's "purple" that's enough for me. 😆
@@ImpliedMusic Hey, I can't say that exact mix-up never happend to me ;-)
Do you open Insight anywhere specifically inside of LOGIC PRO?
This seems helpful and inspiring too
yeah, so right on the mix bus. i like it as a teaching tool, for sure, though i don't use it for mixing, per se.
