It is impressive but it BARELY scratches the surface of what this guy can do. For more chills and thrills try "Adagio" (the 2017 performance on The Singer), "Your Love," "Olimpico," "Across Endless Dimensions," "Love Is Like a Dream," or any of dozens of others. You will be impressed EVERY time. In fact, you will be totally blown away by some of them, I kid you not.

You have just witnessed the best technically trained singer in the world today. Dimash is changing the music world. He is in a league of his own, his songs are a mixed of genres, you can hear opera one minute, then pop, and then for the heck of it he will throw in maybe some folk, and jazz, but wait for it.... there has even been rap. Now at the age of 26 he never stops trying new things, and works constantly to improve his performance to please his fans. Seeing him perform live on stage is amazing. A year ago in New York, his first solo concert in the USA, was a sold out concert, where fans from over 60 countries came together to watch this incredibly talented young man. Dimash became instant celebrity in China that needed bodyguards from January 22nd 2017 onwards. During Singer 2017, Dimash was 22 years old. @@MikeandGinger well,unfortunately there's nothing to be done about it,because this"messing up"won't just go as you keep listening to him!He will continue to amaze you every single song as though it were something new,so much different from the previous ones.This is possible because his voice is so versatile,has so many colours,nuances and timbers that he can literally do everything he wants to do in order to convey some intended emotions and feelings.His voice has no limits and no limitations,as you will see and above all he not only sings a particular song,he becomes the song!That's why it strikes us so much,right to our hearts!

He was about 22 at that point, so he somehow not only didn't lose any range when he hit puberty, he has EXPANDED his range since then. Unlike other artists, he barely has any "bad" songs, but when your "normal" in terms of performances rates at the "masterpiece" level, even the "bad" ones are great if one would compare to any other artist. He is the best vocalist of our time, an artist who is redefining what is possible in singing. He sings Pop, Opera, Rock, etc, and many times uses different tones from all of these genres within the same song, and even ads some of tones of his culture to the mix too. The result is usually an orgasm for the ears!

After many years of listening to Dimash, I forget many North American's have yet to experience his vocal gifts. It's good to see the surprised faces once again in reaction to his enormous talent. Dimash is truly one of the great contemporary vocalists - huge range known to hit a whistle note, live, a D8 (off the piano board). If you should ever have the opportunity to see him live, he's quite exceptional. He performed in NYC last December for 3 1/2 hours non-stop. Incredible! The show itself was unsophisticated and filled with the Rock trappings of flash pots, smoke, dancers and visuals (all as if one was at a Madonna show - all unnecessary) but seeing and listening to him was truly a great experience. Thank you for your reaction to SOS! Dimash has been trained in classical and contemporary singing since he was 5 and he's got university degrees in both. As a child he sang soprano and he was able to preserve his high register during puberty. His range as we know it (he never speaks of it and says that it is just a tool) is D1 (with growling) to D8.

At 26, his deeper registers are getting richer all the time while his upper ranges remain pure and beautiful! He looks like a little guy, but in reality he’s 6’3” tall. His range is more than 6 octaves, but he says that’s not important. His ability to affect us emotionally and draw us in with his storytelling is what sets him apart even more. I’ve been following him for just under 4 years, since his appearances on the Chinese singing contest for established singers called Singer 2017. He’s one of the most humble, kind and loving people out there. He loves his family, his country, his, friends, and his fans! He named us dears because we are dear to him like his family...that is why we love him so much!
You know that person is the greatest vocalist on earth when he sing Italian songs like an Italian.....when he sing Mandarin song like a Mandarin native speaker BUT he doesn't speak Italian AND hardly speak much Mandarin at all......because singing perfectly in other languages you don't speak.....it takes so much more than just perfect pitches, perfect tones, perfect tunes, perfect registers.........accurate intonations and SOULS are needed too......and Dimash immerses himself to achieve these perfections.....no less than 100% commitment.

No one, even the other singers had ever heard of him or had heard him sing and they were taken back with the song you just heard S.O.S and Dimash became an overnight success after that performance. He came in second place in that show as some comments made said that a Chinese singer could not lose. When Dimash sang this song on the Singer show he was 22,. Dimash calls his fans Dears because he sees us as an extension of his family and there are millions of us around the world...men, women and children too. That was only 5% of what Dimash can do technically you have 4 years of catching up to do every song is different Dimash becomes the Character in every song he sings.
