- Shake Shack is finally open in Singapore, at Jewel Changi Airport! In this episode of Eatbook Vlogs, Adria, Alison and Ra head to Jewel Changi Airport for the launch of Shake Shack. And instead of only trying their signatures, we went big and ordered the entire menu :O

Start the countdown. $7.50 for a dessert and $10+ for burgers, it be a miracle if it can outlast its 2 years lease.
is it really that expensive? I'm pretty sure burger shops like fatboys have burgers that goes for $20+ and it's so-so but they lasted for years and have many chains.

$7.50 starting price for burgers, restaurant price? Restaurant minimum average cost just for a set meal without drinks and desserts is already $20++. The price seems to be reasonable considering the high rental and worth a try but that's about it :) Moreover, i think whenever i patriot around MosBurger/BurgerKing, i will usually spend $15++ so i think it's somewhat similar?

@Eatbook To Ali, Actually shake shack was a hotdog stand but their burgers overtook the hotdogs as it's signature. :)

Before the Halal certification comments come flooding in:
Shake Shack never had halal outlets they only offer halal chicken option in certain outlets.
They are retaining the US menu which includes beer and bacon.
Lastly, come on how many fast food chains do we have for non halal consumers? Probably Carl's jr which only have 3 outlets and 1 shake shack.
Actually shake shack in Dubai is Halal.

since all meat produced in or imported to the UAE must be halal.
@@Random14599 No problem shake shack is quite nice however Muslims in Singapore should be happy they have so many halal options. In my country they don't care, and it is easy to get a halal certificate even if it is not halal .They don't separate the food or anything. The Muslims in Singapore you have so many options with food.

What are the recommendations for the burgers and drinks in shakeshack? GOING THERE LATER!
I just had it yesterday, but I didn't try the shakes and hotdogs, so I won't comment on those. For the burgers, I had the Shack Stack burger, and it was GOOD, really juicy and tasty! You get a mix of the regular cheeseburger + the shroom burger, so if you want a blend of all the burgers and you don't mind the price, get the shack stack.
For the fries, my family and I all found the cheese really diluted and tasteless. The cheese taste was not strong at all, so wouldn't really recommend it if you are price-conscious. But if you don't mind paying the extra $1.40 for the cheese, I guess it's a 'try-once-and-thats-all' kinda thing. KFC cheese fries can easily win this.
For the frozen custards, I tried both the jewela melaka and shack attack (choc). I recommend the jewela melaka one. It was a refreshing combination. The choc one is chocolatey, nothing really special, unless you're a super big fan of choc.

Being halal doesn't necessarily translate to better profits you can lose more customers who prefers beef bacon and beer!

By SG's standards Shake Shack is definitely expensive but the prices are actually commensurate with what you would pay for in the US. So it's not exactly a tourist trap
