I’m not even from England but this entire documentary made me cry. Women are meant for bigger things!!!! ❤❤❤
Sarina Wiegman changed everything. She brought a piece of tactical calmness to a team that was always on the brink of success as showcased by 3 semifinals appearances in World Cup 2015, Euro 2017 and World Cup 2019 but always fell short of taking the next step. And her experience in winning Euro 2017 with the Netherlands and then a World Cup final in 2019 helped massively in pressure situations.
Pretty inspiring documentary. Really iconic black & white photo after winning the Championship at 1:10:06 Leah Williamson is crying with several members of the team & Lioness Alex Goodwood is look off protective over Leah & the rest.
This is the 2nd time watching this film & got the same emotions as the 1st.

Absolutely wonderful Documentary! I'm from across the pond in Chicago & never missed a minute of England's games. Still watch anything to do with that team on u- tube and also follow the WSL. USWNT & England in the finals of the World Cup in Australia. That's the only way they can meet is in the finals.

I follow WSL, USWNT, and England as well.
But don't wait on USA in the finals... I very much doubt they will get past quarter finals.
England isn't the same team that won Euros and competent players are filling big holes. But England has Wiegman.
Wiegman will be the huge difference.

And not in the USWNT or Canada were trying to do it, which was just being unlikable individuals and obnoxious celebrities (aka Megan Rapinoe), but to grow the game and bring everybody feel welcome. And you go through the squad, most of the English's women players are not arrogant or obnoxious. They cared to grow the game and the game gave something back. Because one thing about football, its that they always deliver. It takes time but they do deliver.

You have to love the girls from Northern Ireland. Win or loose they were there to enjoy the experience.
Republic of Ireland did make the World Cup next year so they have that to look forward to even Northern Ireland can & I hope unite behind at least that & celebrate together making it that far & any further they go. Its after all the world cup. Ireland's first ever I think. I hope NI & Republic of Ireland can have a effect even a quarter of what the Englands Lioness managed.

England whether it's men's or women's team always play better in home soil behind their football crazy english supporter. They won men's WC in 1966 at home and now their woman counterpart winning Euro in 2022. We will see how they will fare this coming WC away from home. IMO they were lucky to beat Spain in the quarter final were they equalized in the closing minutes of the game to sent the game into extra time. And Spain is missing the world best female footballer in Alexia Putellas
